Please do not deleted, charging "unexplained removal," material where the removal was explained in the edit summary. -- 2604:2000:E016:A700:948D:67F4:BB52:CEA0 ( talk) 18:07, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
In my opinion, "d self-serving, self-published non notable material" didn't warrant the removal of his swearing in as an Honorary Police Surgeon Toreightyone ( talk) 18:11, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
My mistake, I apologize for the misunderstanding, due to it being in "probably unhelpful" list of changes, it made it look like a random deletion. Toreightyone ( talk) 18:24, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
There seems to be an interview with Harrison Mu (Director of Neurosurgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center) about NYPD Honorary Surgeons, https://www.surgicalproductsmag.com/article/2016/10/nypd-md-surgical-products-q-newest-honorary-police-surgeon-new-yorks-finest
"Appointment is by the NYPD Police Commissioner."
Maybe it is more of a counselling role at NYPD rather than an honour. Toreightyone ( talk) 18:41, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
According to the interview, apparently, "He or she provides medical consultation, services, and expertise to those sick and injured members of the NYPD and their families." Toreightyone ( talk) 19:02, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

SuggestBot predicts that you will enjoy editing some of these articles. Have fun!
Note: All columns in this table are sortable, allowing you to rearrange the table so the articles most interesting to you are shown at the top. All images have mouse-over popups with more information. For more information about the columns and categories, please consult the documentation and please get in touch on SuggestBot's talk page with any questions you might have.
SuggestBot picks articles in a number of ways based on other articles you've edited, including straight text similarity, following wikilinks, and matching your editing patterns against those of other Wikipedians. It tries to recommend only articles that other Wikipedians have marked as needing work. Your contributions make Wikipedia better — thanks for helping.
If you have feedback on how to make SuggestBot better, please tell me on SuggestBot's talk page. Thanks from Nettrom ( talk), SuggestBot's caretaker. -- SuggestBot ( talk) 20:40, 16 June 2017 (UTC)
Hello, I deleted information because I was procrastinating on a research paper and wanted to see if anyone can just edit Wikipedia as they see fit. How does Wikipedia avoid uncredible sources writing whatever they want?
Hello, this is (108.45.178.76), I do apologize as I have literally no idea how to reply to your message and the links have led me here. I have a concern:
You stated that I vandalized Shy Glizzy's page. As I fan of Shy Glizzy, perhaps I'm not fully aware of the policy, but all I did was add links to the albums so that those perusing his page can also check out the music. If it's now allowed to do that on Wikipedia, I will oblige -- but how is that vandalism exactly? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.45.178.76 ( talk) 21:56, 15 July 2017 (UTC)

The article Carolin Größinger has been proposed for deletion. The proposed deletion notice added to the article should explain why.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion. --

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Carolin Größinger is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.
The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Carolin Größinger until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.
Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article.

Your last edit to the article was at 03:12, 21 November 2017 (UTC) and you haven't yet declared the copy-edit done on the Requests page. Hello, Toreightyone. Voting in the 2017 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 10 December. All users who registered an account before Saturday, 28 October 2017, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Wednesday, 1 November 2017 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2017 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 3 December 2017 (UTC)

As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. Nominations and voting will take place on the main project talkpage: here and here. Thank you for your time. For the co-ordinators, MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 08:35, 8 December 2017 (UTC)

Greetings,
"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.

G'day all, please be advised that throughout April 2018 the Military history Wikiproject is running its annual backlog elimination drive. This will focus on several key areas:
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the scope of military history will be considered eligible. This year, the Military history project would like to extend a specific welcome to members of Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red, and we would like to encourage all participants to consider working on helping to improve our coverage of women in the military. This is not the sole focus of the edit-a-thon, though, and there are aspects that hopefully will appeal to pretty much everyone.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 April and runs until 23:59 UTC on 30 April 2018. Those interested in participating can sign up here.

Hello,
I am E. Whittaker, an intern at Wikimedia with the Scoring Team to create a labeled dataset, and potentially a tool, to help editors deal with incivility when they encounter it on talk pages. A full write-up of the study can be found here: m:Research:Civil_Behavior_Interviews. We are currently recruiting editors to be interviewed about their experiences with incivility on talk pages. Would you be interested in being interviewed? I am contacting you because of your involvement in Wikipedia’s Women in Red project. The interviews should take ~1 hour, and will be conducted over BlueJeans (which does allow interviews to be recorded). If, so, please email me at ewhit@umich.edu in order to schedule an interview.

Hello, Toreightyone. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote.
If you wish to participate in the 2018 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 18:42, 19 November 2018 (UTC)

Hi, I made a change to Template:Did you know nominations/Lady Ponce according to the MOS. Although I'm not reviewing the nomination, I did notice that the hook fact is not in the article, as required by DYK rules. You'll have to either add the fact to the article, or come up with a new hook.
Also, I changed the birthdate in the article's infobox to agree with the date used twice in the article text; please check to make sure that's the correct date. MANdARAX • XAЯAbИAM 19:07, 21 March 2019 (UTC)

Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are now open. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next year. The project coordinators are the designated points of contact for issues concerning the project, and are responsible for maintaining our internal structure and processes. They do not, however, have any authority over article content or editor conduct, or any other special powers. More information on being a coordinator is available here. If you are interested in running, please sign up here by 23:59 UTC on 14 September! Voting doesn't commence until 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the coord team. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 01:59, 1 September 2021 (UTC)

Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are opening in a few hours (00:01 UTC on 1 September). A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 17:52, 31 August 2022 (UTC)

Hi Toreightyone! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over six months.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in six months.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
{{
Frs user|Toreightyone|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:01, 30 January 2023 (UTC)

In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election have opened. A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year. Voting will commence on 15 September. If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the current coord team. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 02:05, 2 September 2023 (UTC)

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review
the candidates and submit your choices on the

There seems to be an interview with Harrison Mu (Director of Neurosurgery at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center) about NYPD Honorary Surgeons, https://www.surgicalproductsmag.com/article/2016/10/nypd-md-surgical-products-q-newest-honorary-police-surgeon-new-yorks-finest
"Appointment is by the NYPD Police Commissioner."
Maybe it is more of a counselling role at NYPD rather than an honour. Toreightyone ( talk) 18:41, 4 June 2017 (UTC)

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist.

Thank you for creating articles on women and their works over the past few weeks as a participant in our World Contest. We have become aware of your contributions thanks to research undertaken by
Bobo.03 at the
University of Minnesota. If you would like to receive news of future WiR events and participate in our discussions, you might now be interested in becoming a member of Women in Red where we are actively trying to reduce Wikipedia's content gender gap. In any case, thank you for actively contributing to the coverage of women (currently 17.25% of English Wikipedia's biographies).

If you have any questions, you can contact any member of the coord team. Peacemaker67 ( click to talk to me) 02:07, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

Nominations for the upcoming project coordinator election are opening in a few hours (00:01 UTC on 1 September). A team of up to ten coordinators will be elected for the next coordination year.

{{
Frs user|Toreightyone|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month.If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back!

Hello! Voting in the 2023 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 11 December 2023. All eligible users are allowed to vote.
If you wish to participate in the 2023 election, please review
the candidates and submit your choices on the
voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{
