In April 2019, Women in Red is focusing on women in the United Nations and its agencies: World Bank Group, the World Health Organization, the World Food Programme, UNESCO, and UNICEF. Historical figures from the League of Nations may also be covered.
We hope both inexperienced and seasoned editors will join us in creating biographies and other articles about women in the United Nations, as well as their achievements, writings, organizations, and awards. This virtual editathon allows enthusiasts from around the globe to participate in our initiative. You are of course also welcome to add articles on any other notable women who deserve to be covered, for example under our #1day1woman priority.
