Welcome to the eighth Bugle for 2022!

The project's Coordinator Elections are coming up. All members of the project are encouraged to participate either by nominating for one of the positions or voting. The project has two academy essays that may be of interest: becoming a coordinator and advice from former coordinators. Please feel free to ask questions of the current coordinators as well.

Thank you again to Adam Cuerden for compiling the article news section. It includes five new featured articles, five new featured pictures and four new A-class articles.

Hawkeye7 has contributed three book reviews for this month's edition. All are on aspects of the 1982 Falklands War, and include two memoirs and a work on the aerial aspects of the conflict.

Your editors, Ian Rose ( talk) and Nick-D ( talk)

Awards and honours

  • There were no awards last month.

Contest department

  • For July, six editors submitted entries into the contest department. The winner was Hog Farm with 48 points from seven articles, earning the WikiChevrons. Placing second, and receiving the Writer's Barnstar, was Kges1901, who entered four articles for 32 points. Djmaschek, Gog the Mild, Pickersgill-Cunliffe and Zawed were the other editors who submitted entries. There are still a few days left for the August edition of the contest, so any editors working on articles should consider entering them in.
