Welcome to the second Bugle for 2020!

To start on a very positive note, we're pleased to congratulate Peacemaker67 for recently achieving his 50th Featured Article promotion with the John Leak article passing FAC. Many of these articles cover "controversial" topics, making this a particularly noteworthy achievement. Peacemaker is the 20th most prolific featured article nominator, in a list where many of the top places are held by editors who focus on military history topics.

Turning to article news more broadly, while only five new A-class articles were promoted in January, it was a busy month for new featured articles. Two powerful images also reached featured picture status.

The regular book review section includes an assessment by Nick-D of a somewhat disappointing recent book on the Battle of Normandy, as well as the usual roundup of recent reviews published elsewhere.
