- Not quite sure about your side but from time to time I do run into the same problem as you did just now (assuming that you're running Firefox like me, and you can forget about Opera!), though that's nothing which a complete system reboot cannot fix. Anyway, I saw the earlier CN tag and went in search for sources when I noticed you've already done so. Got down to tweaked it a wee bit and was about to thank you when you drop by here. Hey Dave, our friend HCobb has created Glenn Marine Group, which appears to be based in Singapore. I think it can meet GNG, but I'm not certain. I rescued it from Prod, but it'll probably got to AFD soon anyway, as it really is a shoddy attempt to make an article. I'm not planning on doing Henry's work for him to try to save it, as I've no interest or background in the subject. I have asked for help at WTSHIPS. G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. "Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Recoilless weapons only have to have something come out the back end to counteract the force of firing the projectile, it doesn't have to be propellant gas. The original recoilless gun, the Davis gun, just fired a projectile of equal mass from a rear-facing barrel, and there are plenty of systems that contain the backblast by transferring energy to something else, such as liquid (AT4 CS). - That said, we actually have several editors from the past couple of years who heavily edit Indian-related military and aviation articles. - In fairness, he'd been reverted as an IP an article, perhaps HAL Tejas, and created the account after those reverts. The thing is, I, and many other users, actually do believe INDICSCRIPT is too restrictive, but totally understand why it was put in place. But I've no interest in pursuing that on my own at this time,for some odd reason. :)

- Per Indian naming convention for their weaponry, the Indian government has always preferred Sanskrit over regional script to avoid appearing to be favouring one over another but folks from other regions often have their own bright idea(s). - Not quite sure about your side but from time to time I do run into the same problem as you did just now (assuming that you're running Firefox like me, and you can forget about Opera!), though that's nothing which a complete system reboot cannot fix. Hey Dave, our friend HCobb has created Glenn Marine Group, which appears to be based in Singapore. I think it can meet GNG, but I'm not certain. G'day all, please be advised that throughout March 2017 the Military history Wikiproject is running its March Madness drive. This is a backlog drive that is focused on several key areas:
- tagging and assessing articles that fall within the project's scope
- updating the project's currently listed A-class articles to ensure their ongoing compliance with the listed criteria
- creating articles that are listed as "requested" on the project's various task force pages or other lists of missing articles.
As with past Milhist drives, there are points awarded for working on articles in the targeted areas, with barnstars being awarded at the end for different levels of achievement.
The drive is open to all Wikipedians, not just members of the Military history project, although only work on articles that fall (broadly) within the military history scope will be considered eligible. More information can be found here for those that are interested, and members can sign up as participants at that page also.
The drive starts at 00:01 UTC on 1 March and runs until 23:59 UTC on 31 March 2017, so please sign up now.

As we approach the end of the year, the Military History project is looking to recognise editors who have made a real difference. Each year we do this by bestowing two awards: the Military Historian of the Year and the Military History Newcomer of the Year. The co-ordinators invite all project members to get involved by nominating any editor they feel merits recognition for their contributions to the project. Nominations for both awards are open between 00:01 on 2 December 2017 and 23:59 on 15 December 2017. After this, a 14-day voting period will follow commencing at 00:01 on 16 December 2017. Greetings,
"Military history" is one of the most important subjects when speak of sum of all human knowledge. To support contributors interested in the area over various language Wikipedias, we intend to form a user group. It also provides a platform to share the best practices between military historians, and various military related projects on Wikipedias. An initial discussion was has been done between the coordinators and members of WikiProject Military History on English Wikipedia. Now this discussion has been taken to Meta-Wiki. Contributors intrested in the area of military history are requested to share their feedback and give suggestions at Talk:Discussion to incubate a user group for Wikipedia Military Historians.

Recoilless weapons only have to have something come out the back end to counteract the force of firing the projectile, it doesn't have to be propellant gas. The original recoilless gun, the Davis gun, just fired a projectile of equal mass from a rear-facing barrel, and there are plenty of systems that contain the backblast by transferring energy to something else, such as liquid (AT4 CS). - That was exactly the first feeling I got on the first day of the conflict, knowing full well how much nationalistic fervour and blind patrioticism on both sides plays into the pysche of each side's legion of fanboys in cyberspace. And if you think WP is bad, you should see the amount of barbs traded on FB and other social media platforms, I cannot begin to understand how childish and immature both sides can become. - That said, we actually have several editors from the past couple of years who heavily edit Indian-related military and aviation articles. - In fairness, he'd been reverted as an IP an article, perhaps HAL Tejas, and created the account after those reverts. The thing is, I, and many other users, actually do believe INDICSCRIPT is too restrictive, but totally understand why it was put in place. But I've no interest in pursuing that on my own at this time,for some odd reason. :)

- Per Indian naming convention for their weaponry, the Indian government has always preferred Sanskrit over regional script to avoid appearing to be favouring one over another but folks from other regions often have their own bright idea(s). Hey there, I feel like uploading few new images to some old articles on wiki, but i'm not sure how to mark them in free use not to get deleted :c First I'd like to fill some blank spots in this one /info/en/?search=Polish_coins_and_banknotes What options do I click on in commons, I know simple question, but so far i've only contributed to topics in pure text... BTW the images would come from nbp (National Bank of Poland) which as far as i know allows pictures to be displayed.
