Welcome to the September 2013 edition of the Bugle!
The annual election to select Military history project coordinators is under way. Fifteen new and returning candidates have thrown their hats in the ring, so if you wish to cast a vote, please do so on the election page by 23:59 (UTC) on 28 September!
Congratulations are in order for Parsecboy on the award of his second WikiChevrons with Oak Leaves, ErrantX on his inaugural A-Class medal, and Peacemaker67 on his first win in the monthly article-writing contest -- well done to all of them!
Among our regular departments this month, you can find all the MilHist articles, lists and pictures promoted to Featured or A-Class status last month at our articles page, while Nick-D's book review highlights a collection of essays on the American Civil War.
As always, the Bugle is keen to receive submissions in the form of news, book or other media reviews, and op-eds. You can leave draft contributions for a future issue at the newsroom, or ping the editors for feedback on ideas for articles or material in your user space.
