Hello, I thought I would provide a fuller explanation for my undo of your edit.

I refer to criteria three of the Manual of Style for capitalisation of the title: When a formal title for a specific entity (or conventional translation thereof) is addressed as a title or position in and of itself, is not plural, is not preceded by a modifier (including a definite or indefinite article), and is not a reworded description.

The official example states:

Theresa May became Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2016. Theresa May was the prime minister of the United Kingdom.

In this case, the absence of the word "the" as a modifier, indicates the title instead of the office. It means that both of these two sentences are correct.

He served as Prime Minister of Singapore. He served as the prime minister of Singapore.

As the original sentence did not contain the article "the", the phrase Prime Minister is accordingly capitalised.

Good afternoon, Marchjuly. I noticed that you had made several edits to the article Delta Beta Phi. The first was correct, in reverting the word "Publications" in a subheader to all lower case. But the other corrections you made, are, as I understand English grammar, incorrect. The article refers to a specific fraternity, hence, on this page, "Fraternity" is correctly capitalized, serving as a proper pronoun in this case, and not just as a noun. The word is essentially a Term of Art -- defined -- and not used in its generic sense. In the same way, the word "Founders," here, is correctly capitalized. It refers to the specific founders of this organization.

I looked for a reference online; Wikipedia avoids unnecessary capitalization, but draws its rules from a consensus of other applicable online sources. There are loads of "10 rules of capitalization" guides, but few that delve into the finer points. Essentially, this rule is akin to a "Term of Art" in legal writing that widely accepted as another quirk of English grammar. I’m not sure what you’ve posted is consistent with the capitalization in other articles about fraternities. For example, Delta Sigma Phi doesn’t follow your example, but perhaps that is incorrect or there’s something else I’m missing.
