Can an archived post that was declined on [1] be removed, as the post is listed twice and the edit request was granted on the second request? The grammmar was in fact incorrect and needed to be changed. I do not know why basically the same post is needed and was hoping there are extenuating circumstances. 73.167.238.120 ( talk) 16:22, 8 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello, I am working on a new draft article at Draft:Gallery_of_Atomic_Orbitals. In the article I use a mathematical symbol for a Laguerre polynomial which stand for a certain function which can be defined in a number of different ways depending on the convention choices chosen by a particular author. These different convention choice have led to lots of confusion and edit wars on some other pages on topics related to my new draft article. To curtail this confusion I have explicitly called out the possibility of different convention choices on my page and stated which convention I am using along with references to some textbooks and peer-reviewed articles which use the same convention. In addition, to establish even more consistency with other important references, I have cited some important places that readers will likely encounter the convention I have chosen before they find themselves digging in old textbooks. One of these places is the Laguerre polynomials Wikipedia page. I have gotten the feedback on my page that I should not cite Wikipedia because it is user generated. Does this advice apply in my case even though I am citing Wikipedia to establish internal consistency on a matter of convention?
Thanks for taking the time to help me become a better Wikipedia contributor! Twistar48 ( talk) 07:01, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

What would be considered a "reliable source" for topics which don't really get mainstream coverage of any sort? I'm in particular asking about game console homebrew - I feel like I could add to this topic on several pages, but I cannot figure out if I'd be allowed to - most of the sources that are treated as "reliable" in the community exist on various wikis or random tweets from people who work on this stuff. Thanks for your comments. Although I must confess I don't completely understand. I have created the article in my sandbox but moved it to a separate page to give it a title. I can move it to the Draft space it that is what I should do.
The article is supported by the references at the end all of which are published secondary sources that verify the content of the article. Can you please explain what the problem is. There is no article on Wikipedia for Adaptive Noise Cancelling that explains the concept or points to the history of its invention. The article is intended to address this deficiency. Wikipedia:So you made a userspace draft). Or you could simply move the article directly to mainspace yourself, but I think you'd run into some problems - it may get moved back to draft or proposed for deletion. Submitting it to AfC is generally safer.

It appears that certain users are continually removing anything that could be construed as negative. For example the adware and dark pattern "claims" which are actually facts that are backed up by more than one citation and reference. Anyone care to elaborate? What usually happens when certain users repeatedly try to whitewash an article? While there is no direct evidence of sockpuppetry yet, these users appear to be associated with the article's subjectmatter in some way. The article in question is MacUpdate. Bigmaaac ( talk)

But chess puzzle is more often used than chess problem, so maybe move chess problem into chess puzzle (chess puzzle doesn't have much information)?

Getting my architectural page approved - Thank you to everyone who collaborated on a response to my questions on my page. Thanksgiving week has thrown me off schedule a little, but I’m trying to jump back into this and really dig in on this. One giant clarification, yes, I am a paid employee of SJCF, but I am not attempting to write this page because I am being specifically paid to. It is a labor of love for me, as I am now one of the old timers here.
I have taken all of your suggestions and am re-doing another draft. It’s difficult…we’ve been in business for more than 60 years, and we have breadth of coverage in the media, spanning a large amount of time, but not depth in articles. Bob Schaefer (our original ‘Schaef’) was a humble man who eschewed publicity..he liked for our buildings to speak for him. Even to this day, in many articles in our local media, you’ll see ‘courtesy photo’ under one of our renderings…and it is driving me crazy as I attempt to pull this together. Additionally, while the NY Times might have an architecture critic, most Kansas papers do not, and so in-depth architectural coverage is largely non-existent. Another clarification on the article one of you mentioned that talks about ‘reusing furniture’…that article also talked about the challenges presented in managing a school bond issue during the great recession in 2008. Thank you everyone for the help, the critique, the suggestions. I love that a group of writers comes together to do this and do it well. WikiLDMR ( talk) 16:39, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
Hi! Hope you all are having a good day. I'm quite new to this process and I have a few questions. These days, when I see a template message that says something like "This plot summary may be too long...", I edit the plot summary below to make it more concise. What do I do then? Can I remove the message? I think you can remove them by clicking on them in the visual editor, but this doesn't always work, specially when the box is within a table of contents. The visual editor thinks you're trying to click on the table itself. Same thing with the messages that say "citation needed". What I'm currently doing is adding the citations next to the "citation needed" sign. Thanks in advance! Pablov95 ( talk) 22:26, 9 December 2021 (UTC)

Hi, could anybody give input on the Draft:Vishwananda. It was previously submitted for immediate deletion. I didn't quite understand that, as the article was certainly not in any way a kind of promotion of the subject, it was instead rather critical. But I rewrote it, really paying attention to the sources, to have more reliable secondary sources. Vishwananda is quite well known in Germany, but he also has Ashrams in the UK and USA. He is very popular in eastern European countries, like Poland or Czech Republic. So I guess notability is given. He even just bought a new Ashram in Germany, which owns it's own lake! There was an article about him in the Times of India, but also in many German speaking newspapers or TV stations. Any input from your side is appreciated. Donations
The reason I quit donating is because wikipedia quit being neutral, preferring to engage in politics and censorship of truth to influence users toward a political ideology. At that point the credibility and trust was destroyed. It's a very sad decision you made. It will take a long time to heal if Wikipedia ever decides to regain scruples. Nagging for donations is irritating because in the nagging, there is no way to give feedback such as this. In fact, as it turns out, there is no way to give feedback at all actually. It's time to dismiss the employees and board members who wrecked Wikipedia credibility. 2601:2C1:4280:B490:F5B5:281:E91E:22DC ( talk) 19:04, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

Tigraan Ok I hear you about the 3 references but please tell me how can these criteria be ignored /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Notability_(music)#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles The subject meets criteria one for musicians by having being published in several magazine articles not to mention the subject has also recently appeared on the Billboard charts. My issue now is why are we making this a problem when the subject meets the criteria for notability under those rules. How can we disregard that is what I'm trying to ask? I'm not being rude or hostile I'm addressing my point. My thing is yes there is 28 references but why are we making this that they have to be narrowed down to the top 3. Again please take a look at Wikipedia guidelines for notability here /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Notability_(music)#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles I never made these terms Wikipedia put these in place. I think we can't ignore these don't you agree? Godsentme1 ( talk) 19:25, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
Tigraan Written from Wikipedia's criteria it says: Under criteria 1 the subject is notable already under these Wikipedia guidelines. There is no need for the draft to be toast because we can't ignore this. How can we ignore these criteria terms set by Wikipedia? Again take a look below what I pasted from Wikipedia "Has been the subject of multiple nontrivial published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published and are independent of the musician or ensembles. Wikipedia wrote these terms into place so my question now is how do we overlook these. Again I'm not being hostile or rude in any manner I'm proving my point now. Also again the subject has recently appeared on the Billboard charts at position 9 of 25. I would like for a serious reviewer to view my claims and see that the draft gets published seeing that the subject meets the criteria for notability. I think we all can come together and agree on this and publish it today. I've shown and spoken my case about how is the subject notable and I have high valid points. Godsentme1 ( talk) 19:38, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
Musicians or ensembles (this category includes bands, singers, rappers, orchestras, DJs, musical theatre groups, instrumentalists, etc.) may be notable if they meet at least one of the following criteria.
1) Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent of the musician or ensemble itself.[note 1] This criterion includes published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles, books, magazine articles, online versions of print media, and television documentaries[note 2] except for the following: Any reprints of press releases, other publications where the musician or ensemble talks about themselves, and all advertising that mentions the musician or ensemble, including manufacturers' advertising.[note 3] Works consisting merely of trivial coverage, such as articles that simply report performance dates, release information or track listings, or the publications of contact and booking details in directories. Articles in a school or university newspaper (or similar), in most cases.
Also Tigraan how I believe it should be is that a reviewer should review all the references because we all know the subject is notable. If he was not then I do not believe you would be even saying to narrow it down to three. You would have just said the subject is not notable. Instead of us playing a game of Russian roulette where you want to have me place 3 references on the talk page then if I don't pick the right ones then the draft is toast? All links should be looked at. Again we all know that the subject is notable so why play Russian roulette to get the draft taken down purposely? It does not make any sense why was that even mentioned when again the subject is notable per "Wikipedia's" guidelines. I'm not attacking or being rude in any way just simply explaining my point. The draft should be published as it highly meets the criteria /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Notability_(music)#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles
And I believe you know that it meets the criteria. So instead of being so hard on me please just take the time to look at my points they are very valid. Godsentme1 ( talk) 19:56, 9 December 2021 (UTC)
we all know the subject is notable... I am afraid "we" know nothing of the sort. I did not know that person existed before reading your draft. But then, I could cite at most three hip-hop artists, so I do not know much about that area. I suspect you do not know all three of Hypathia, Michael Faraday, or Zulfikar Ali Bhutto either, even if they are all notable persons in their respective fields. The way we decide if persons are notable is not by the assertion of knowledgeable editors, but from the sources.
if [the subject was not notable] then I do not believe you would be even saying to narrow it down to three.. If you had read the link to WP:THREE I gave you, which is not a long read, you would have seen the second paragraph which says
Often, there will be a lot of references in an article, many of which use poor sources. I'm not willing to slog through dozens of sources to evaluate them. I am, however, willing to look at a few sources in detail if somebody else (i.e. you) does the footwork to figure out which ones are the best.
Tigraan I'm not saying I know it all but I was saying to sum it up how can we ignore what Wikipedia deems as a notable musician. I read the terms and what stand out to me is the terms saying that if the subject meets one of the following that makes him notable. I feel the subject does meet one of the criteria and I feel like the reviewers were blantanly ignoring that. If it says the subject has appeared in multiple magazine articles and that makes him notable what I'm not understanding is how we get to ignore that? Godsentme1 ( talk) 22:43, 10 December 2021 (UTC)
what stand out to me is the terms saying that if the subject meets one of the following that makes him notableNo, that is not what it says. You quoted the guideline above:
Musicians or ensembles [...] may be notable if they meet at least one of the following criteria. The important word here is may be notable. And then,
If it says the subject has appeared in multiple magazine articles and that makes him notable– also not what it says.
Has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works; here the key is non-trivial. A previous reviewer explained that what is necessary is in-depth coverage. In other words, there may or may not be in-depth/non-trivial coverage, and that may or may not mean that he is notable. -- bonadea contributions talk 22:57, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

This isn't a question about the formal conflict resolution processes Wikipedia offers; I'm aware of them. I'd just like to ask if anyone more experienced than I am knows of a satisfying way to deal with people who won't be persuaded. Most of my edits are small and non-controversial, but occasionally I feel the need to make a change to an article that ends with me disagreeing with some specific person who presumably has it on their watchlist. In these situations, the other person usually gets their way because they're willing to put more energy into arguing their point than I can spare arguing mine. It's depressing to spend half an hour making changes and then being asked to essentially write a legal brief on top of that in order for your changes to stick. I'm not trying to call anyone out here: this has happened to me a few times on a few wide-ranging subjects, so I suspect it's uncommon but universal. Is there any way to make this easier? It makes me want to not bother with editing some pages at all. Tisnec ( talk) 21:54, 10 December 2021 (UTC)

To Verbcatcher. Thanks for the reply. I understand. I can change the text to "His paintings are currently for sale between $10 million to $113 million" Text was removed regarding the rape case. It was an extortion attempt by the accuser. The PD privately dropped the case, but neither Jack or I have seen any published articles stating that, so I can't add a citing. I will not add citing links to my The Life of Luxury site, even though I am not being paid for this. I can reference other sources. We both have serious health issues and are helping each other. Dear all, a few months ago, I tried to create my first ever Wkipedia page. To my knowledge I followed the instructions, and was able to submit the page for approval. I even received a welcome email from Wikipedia which included advice on posting and editing. However, in spite of this, a good deal more than 7 weeks (which I thought was how long I would have to wait) have passed, and I have still heard no news about my page, whether it has been accepted, or what I need to do. So I am unsure as to how to proceed: do I need to start everything again from scratch? I am perplexed, and would be very grateful for direction. For the second time around my article has been declined even when I stated in the comments that the subject meets the notable criteria under option 1 /info/en/?search=Wikipedia:Notability_(music)#Criteria_for_musicians_and_ensembles The reviewers are overlooking this and just declined the article for a billboard chart lyric when the claim to notable was not charting. The claim is for the subject appearing in multiple magazine articles independent of the subject. So can someone please help me. I can't wrap my head around how are reviewers able to ignore the criteria and continue to deny the article. I waited 2 months for a review and the reviewer does not look at the fact that the subject is notable in other categories. Hi all. My first visit here. I have been enjoying writing and editing for a week now. It was helpful to study the structure of other articles and I read through the helpful links that I received on my talk page from User:I dream of horses I also used the edit guide from my own home page, very helpful! I have written a number of articles and lists that I think follow all the guides, but I think I should pause after writing Patrick Cunnane. It is a biography of a living person and it seems there are more requirements for this type of article. I am hoping someone can look at it for me. I am also hoping I did not violated the biography requirements, and that there are enough references in the article.
The salmon colored warning when you click edit worried me.

In the last few days the Wiki entry for James Michie, poet and contributor to the Spectator has been changed. For more than a year the entry correctly noted that in his poem Friendly Fire, Michie called for the 'comprehensive extermination' of the Scottish Race and Nation of six million souls. The reference to the poet's call for genocide which had been part of the Wiki entry for more than a year has been removed on about 9th December 2021. As the claim that Michie was demanding genocide was clearly correct why was it removed. As this call for the extermination of every Scot was published by Spectator Editor and Conservative Leader Boris Johnson it is likely that their will be attempts to remove the references to genocide for political reasons. I accept your point that I should not be making major edits to Death of Eleanor de Freitas on the grounds that I am an interested party, and I have not done so. Curiously, all contributions to the article involving references 10, 16, 19, 41, 44 & 50 are from, or directed by, the man whom Eleanor alleged raped her, and this includes the blog website cited as an external source. On this basis, when the major edit is done, by an independent academic source citing mostly an article that has been published (some 3 years ago) in an academic law review (ref 27) all the above references will be replaced with independent sources, mostly, or just deleted if they are already dealt with elsewhere. My concern, as in the past, is that this other interested party or his associates will attempt to undo this major edit as has happened in the past. How do we prevent this and repost the major edit without difficulty? He was one of the main singers at the past few Siyum HaShas (The largest event in Orthodox Judaism today). Any quick search for "abish brodt siyum hashas" online will prove that.
Furthermore any Jewish Music Website displays him as a major artist: https://jewishmusic.fm/music/artist-list/ . I cannot seem to create a proper cladogram, is this code correct? (To see the code you will have to open the source editor.

And as a follow-up, how do I add images to the cladogram? Logosvenator wikiensis ( talk) 17:24, 13 December 2021 (UTC)
@ Logosvenator wikiensis: Each Clade template can only generate one level of branches, to do what you want you need to nest multiple layers of templates inside each other. Each template takes a parameter that should appear at the end of each branch (these are the numbered parameters) and a label that along the branch (these are the label parameters) Try this

which generates
Megaraptora |
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||
So working from the outside in, we have the first Clade template which contains 1 branch, labeled "Megaraptora". At the end of that branch we have another clade template with 2 branches, one of which ends at "Fukuiraptor" and one of which is labeled "Megaraptoridae" and leads to another clade template. This final Clade template just contains a load of branches leading to the individual species with no labels. To add images to the ends you just add a standard image code after the name, e.g. you might have |2=Tratayenia
. Hope this helps,

Hi there.
I am putting together a page of an artist (a dancing - acting - modelling - choreographing professional) who's work is known/notable around the world (associated with big ballet companies - tv companies). I have followed William John Banks' career for quite some time and it has recently been announced that he will be performing on Broadway next year. For that reason, I feel now is the most perfect occasion to produce this.
Every detail I have written is factual but each time I attempt to publish, the page is later edited with the text deleted by someone (I am wondering if it is admin?). What's additionally strange is that the page for William John Banks is then redirected to another page with a similar name: being William John Bankes. All you have to do is load up a Google search and type in William John Banks to see that he exists - so it is oddly that their name would be redirected to another. I will paste below what I have attempted to publish.

"William John Banks (born 16 July 1990) is an Australian dancer, actor and choreographer. He has performed as a soloist in classical ballet and contemporary companies throughout Europe, Asia and Australia as well as in musical theatre and commercial film & television productions in both the United Kingdom and the Untied States of America. Banks began his career in Australia with the West Australian Ballet (2009 - 2011) before spending an extended creative period with Expressions Dance Company (now Australasian Dance Collective) throughout 2012 and 2013. He relocated to Europe to work with Stadttheater Gießen (2014 - 2016), Graz Opera (2016 - 2017), Bayeriche Staatsoper, Theatre St. Gallen and the Salzburg Festival (2017). Between 2018 - 2020 his artistic engagements included Sony Music (UK), V&A, London Fashion Week (Men's), Sadler’s Wells, Bollywood (T-Series), M·A·C and Opéra de Monte-Carlo. In 2021 he was engaged with the Sydney Opera House, Spinnin' Records and Warner Bros. Pictures (AUS). In December 2021 it was announced that Banks will be joining the cast of "The Little Prince" on Broadway." |
I was kindly nudged by Wikipedia to pop on here and see if I can get some help with getting the page to stick so that my writing is not removed.
In advance, I appreciate any guidance.

This is my first time using Wikipedia and I don't know how to add relevant references. For now, here are the Wikipedia pages I would like to edit:
- John Rocque [1] : In 1756, he created the first printed map of Dublin. The Little Museum of Dublin Georgian building in St Stephen's Green is on this meticulously detailed map.
- Georgian Dublin [2] : In the 18th century, the iconic areas with Georgian houses were located in Merrion Square, St. Stephen's Green and Fitzwilliam Square. The Little Museum of Dublin, established in 2011, sits across from St. Stephen's Green and is housed in a sublime Georgian house, in which you can join a tour and revel in the beautifully protected architecture.
- Stephen’s Green [3] : The final key to gain access to the park is in the Little Museum of Dublin, which tells the story of the capital through items generously donated by Dubliners.
- James Malton [4] : The most famous view of the Green was produced by James Malton. In the Little Museum of Dublin, an assortment of different views of the capital are exhibited.
- Queen Victoria [5] : In 1900, Queen Victoria came to Dublin in Dun Laoghaire. In the Little Museum of Dublin, the original photograph of this event is exhibited and the museum tells the story of the British Empire's hold on Ireland.
- Countess Markievicz [6] : A very important figure in Dublin during the Easter Rising where she led the troops with Michael Mallin. She was the only one not to be executed by the British simply because she was a woman. The official document commemorating all the soldiers executed by the British during the Easter Rising is currently at The Little Museum of Dublin.
- Eamon de Valera [7] : The original version of the decree signed by the hand of Eamon de Valera that secured Ireland's independence in 1921 is currently in the Little Museum of Dublin, located in the centre of the capital opposite St. Stephen's Green.
Can you help me with this?

. The documentation for each citation template like {{

It'll take you to an external site, where a bot will fill out those citation template parameters for you, as well as archive any sites that haven't been archived already.

Hi lovely people,
My Edit on the Elon Musk page keeps getting reverted. I dispute that he has spread misinformation, but respect that his views are politically controversial.
He has not spread "misinformation" regarding the Covid-19 pandemic and I believe this was the contributor's opinion, however he does hold some interesting views on the subject which I mentioned and referenced.
Please see my edit which referenced numerous articles relating to these views. Should I re-do it, but changing covid-19 misinformation to "controversial views relating to Covid restrictions", then give his political views in relation to these and the population issue in a different section?. There are lots of articles on it. It is easily referenced.
I note that someone mentioned that it shouldn't be in the introductory section. I'm inclined to agree, so whatever we decide to do about the Covid views, I think it should be moved to lower on the page.
Everything I mentioned in the edit was correctly sourced and included direct quotations, I didn't provide any opinion. If someone would like to tell me where they think an unreferenced opinion has been published, I'll make sure that I clearly source it.
Unfortunately this doesn't look like balanced information at present, so it would be good if we can form a consensus about what should be included.
Regards
L

if a range in elevation (i.e. 5–50 m ) is desired, use the "max" and "min" fields below. I would try replacing
elevation_m=519
by elevation_min_m=501|elevation_max_m=537

Click here for my talk page ("private" contact) 12:40, 15 December 2021 (UTC)Hi there, i'm working to get a few more articles some more citations, eventually taking the long-road to getting to at-least a GA state. I've noticed that in some FA's that there is much citing, and it almost feels like too much citing. Take this former FA article for example. On almost every sentence there is a citation, the article being a radio station it makes sense to have more of a play-by-play history. But personally I'd think it'd make more sense to simply summarize that info into a few citations at the end. TDLR: How many citations are truly needed. Fadedmax ( talk) 02:06, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
a few citations at the endis not a good solution because Wikipedia's core content policy Verifiability requires that
any material whose verifiability has been challenged or is likely to be challenged, must include an inline citation to a reliable source that directly support the material. So, a few citations at the end is not sufficient to meet that policy for a featured article or a good article or any halfway decent article, and if any other editor challenges the content, inline citations must be provided. Best practice calls for providing those sources in advance of a challenge. Cullen328 ( talk) 04:22, 15 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello,
I was reading the page on Smart contracts and as I am interested in the technology, I noticed that one of the subsections, "Difference from smart legal contracts" should be split to create a separate page, entitled "Smart contracts".
As the existing page is related to blockchain/crypto, I didn't to jump in an act straight away, instead posting my question on the talk page. Could someone please give advice on how to, either, go about getting the discussion going on the page, or, alternatively, answer my question here?
My basis for the need for a new page is that I think users could be easily confused by the current page, and the creation of a new page would reflect guidance from the UK Law Commission. [1] [2] [3]

Hello! So I recently created an RFD for the redirect "MediaTek Camera Application" and since I put it up it has been relisted twice, both have resulted in no discussion on the redirect. I'm fairly sure twice is the max amount of times you can relist something. So since there has been no discussion on the redirect what will happen to it? Will the redirect be soft-deleted (treated like an expired PROD or a stale AFD discussion) or will it just be determined as no consensus? Link to the most recent relisting of the discussion is here. ― Blaze The Wolf TalkBlaze Wolf#6545 14:21, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

Hello! New editor- it's been just a little while and I'm intrigued :) One question- when editing an article with multiple issues, is it common courtesy to try and fix more than one if the issues intersect? I wouldn't think so, but the article I chose to edit here was in need of many spelling and grammar fixes, so I went ahead and copy edited it. The issue is, some of the text that was disputed for not having Npov was more than likely part of the spelling and grammar issues, but I admittedly don't have enough knowledge of the material the article is about to fix the neutrality issues, so I simply left them alone.

Hey,
I've recently gone on a little categorizing quest re: the templates for coat of arms of Swedish provinces ("lanskaper"). See e.g. /info/en/?search=Template:Country_data_%C3%85ngermanland and /info/en/?search=Template:Country_data_Uppland .
I've created a new category -- /info/en/?search=Category:Country_data_templates_of_provinces_of_Sweden and added to the doc page for every province's data, as per the documentation. This is 25 pages in total. But the category page lists 0 pages in that category. Notice that on the template pages listed above "Country data templates of provinces of Sweden" appears in the list of categories.

Heya folks, I was wondering how to delete a redirect for a page. I recently moved a page about the Bayou Pierre of Mississippi and wrote one for the Bayou Pierre of Louisiana. The source for the Mississippi article never states it should be redirecting, but en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayou_Pierre still goes to the Mississippi one instead of going blank. This results in the issue of my article going as an orphan, while innocent readers may believe a river in Mississippi feeds the Red River. How preposterous! By the way, first time in the Teahouse. May have screwed up. Mebigrouxboy ( talk) 03:08, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
The guideline, which I understand, of not being able to write about you/something close to you is mildly frustrating. The reasoning is because we, as a system, want to write articles about our disorder. Does it count as a bias if people have the disorder they are writing about? Because we have DID or OSDD (unsure which) and we want to spread information about these disorders. /genq -Janis TheHamiPotterGeek ( talk) 18:31, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
a more experienced editor with the same or similar? Like TheHamiPotterGeek, I have either DID or OSDD. A friend asked if I'd seen this thread and I came here bracing myself to correct a bunch of bad takes or misinformation, and I'm pleasantly surprised to see that none of that has happened. (And I agree that no COI needs to be disclosed. User:Psiĥedelisto wrote most of the article on Osteogenesis imperfecta, which he has, and to my knowledge no one suggested he needs to disclose a COI.)TheHamiPotterGeek, if you have any questions about editing Wikipedia with DID/OSDD, please don't hesitate to reach out, either on my talk page, by email, on IRC (nick

), or on Discord (join
the community server and find me there). The one thing I'll quibble with here is
David notMD's take on "we". While you definitely should be aware of how it might cause confusion to say "we", there's nothing in policy preventing you from doing so. Personally, the only reason I don't say "we" is that "Tamzin" is something of a "united front" we put on ("front" in the "team" sense, not the plural sense)—it's our legal name, and the name we go by in day-to-day interactions, but not a name that refers to any one system member. If you prefer to edit purely as a system rather than as a shared persona, I think that's your right. However, if you want to avoid confusion, you could do something like this: Create a page titled
User:TheHamiPotterGeek/we. Write something like We are a plural system with DID or OSDD. If you see us saying "we", we are referring to ourselves collectively, not to anything that would violate WP:SHAREDACCOUNT.
Then you could link to that page the first time you say "we" in a comment: Well we feel that this article...
But that's just a suggestion. You can do it however you want, as long as you're okay with having to explain yourself fairly often.Hope this helps. Individually and collectively, --

Hi. I wanted to create an article for Western Wheel Works, However I see that it was deleted. I went to the talk page of the the person who deleted it to ask questions because that is what it says when I try to create the article. But it seems the person who deleted the article is no longer able to help. I wonder if anyone here can tell me if it is ok to create this article. Or should I do it in AFC? or Draft? Hi there, I’m trying to link the Wikipedia article for the Canadian restaurant Harvey’s on the Wikipedia article for the parent company Recipe Unlimited but when I format it normally the link is red when published. When I remove the apostrophe, the link goes to the disambiguation page. I’m not sure why Harvey’s isn’t linking to the correct article. I believe the format matches the actual articles title. Hi I’m an IP address who occasionally edits Wikipedia, when I see mistakes or see things I feel could be improved. But, for reasons that are unclear, I am being relentlessly followed around by an editor who is undoing every edit I do, giving vague reasons for doing so that are almost always inapplicable. At first, I altered what I’d written when I restored my edits to cater to what they said I had done wrong, but then they undid it again anyway. Their username is Unbh, and despite having just thirty or so edits, they seem very experienced on Wikipedia. A sock puppet perhaps? Anyway, it seems they are targeting me for kicks and I feel it is damaging my mental health. Could anyone help me? 222.153.41.39 ( talk) 03:18, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

As I have not made any major edits, you will not find any such references from me, other than the article I was asked to write for the Guardian on this subject RobinEllie ( talk) 16:14, 12 December 2021 (UTC)

Being that he's only in the Orthodox Jewish music world, I can't see how I can show that he's a "major impact" worldwide. Yet by the religious community he is one of the largest singers.
And certainly "Regesh" (he's the lead singer) is a household name in every religious home.

Megaraptora |
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||

Click here for my talk page ("private" contact) 10:19, 14 December 2021 (UTC)I am the new intern at the Little Museum of Dublin and I have been asked by the management to add references to the museum on other Wikipedia pages.
For instance, the article says the museum was nominated in 2012 for the European Museum of the Year award, but without citation - if you can find a citation if it is true or ask for removal if it is not, that would surely improve the article.

. The documentation for each citation template like {{

It'll take you to an external site, where a bot will fill out those citation template parameters for you, as well as archive any sites that haven't been archived already.

In the Wikipedia URL "Progressive Rock" there is a concise list of prog rock bands that doesn't include Rush. It is just my studied opinion that both Rush's music and lyrics represent unique contributions to the genre.
Regards

if a range in elevation (i.e. 5–50 m ) is desired, use the "max" and "min" fields below. I would try replacing
elevation_m=519
by elevation_min_m=501|elevation_max_m=537
. (If you want to use the A±B notation, I do not know how to do that, I suspect it is not possible within the template.)

Am I missing something else I should do? Is it just a matter of time before they're picked up? It has been about 2 days now. Razvan ( talk) 22:47, 15 December 2021 (UTC)
My finished draft got deleted because it was copyright from a website that I created. How can I retrieve my delated draft so I can submit it for wiki donation? Natedawggg84 ( talk) 00:20, 16 December 2021 (UTC) Natedawggg84 ( talk) 00:20, 16 December 2021 (UTC)
