Thank you for your edits of Niacin. There was a minimal dose specified to produce flushing. However, it was not specified whether it was an oral dose or IM/IV dose. Probably the oral one. If so, we should clarify that. Do you have a good source at hand? Also, it seems that for IM/IV path, even doses as small as 10 mg are enough to produce flushing. Don't you know where can we find the source for that? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maxim Masiutin ( talk • contribs) 20:00, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
In a country where I live ( Republic of Moldova), nicotinic acid is only available in pharmacies, as a separate substance, in injectable form only. The oral form is only available in small doses as a vitamin-B complex together with other vitamins. In Russia, situation is the same - the main form is injectable, albeit the tablets of nicotinic acid are avaialable as a serarate substance, the injectable form is more widespread. That's why I have asked to you emphasize on the form of niacin. By the way, I have substantially edited the page /info/en/?search=CYP4F2 today. Could you please review it, maybe you may have some ideas on how can I improve it? Thank you very much in advance for your feedback. -- Maxim Masiutin ( talk) —Preceding undated comment added 22:38, 3 July 2020 (UTC)

A Scholarly Barnstar for the terrific work you did on the citations in support of the Sesame allergy GA |
On 18 September 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Sesame allergy, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that because of the increasing prevalence of sesame allergy, the U.S. will join the EU and Canada in 2023 in instituting mandatory food labeling? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Sesame allergy. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page ( here's how, Sesame allergy), and if they received a combined total of at least 416.7 views per hour (i.e., 5,000 views in 12 hours or 10,000 in 24), the hook may be added to the statistics page. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

I have created an article for the above individual, completely oblivious until the final seconds of posting it to the mainframe, that there was an ongoing draft article for her. My apologises if I have trodden on any toes - purely accidental. Two thoughts - firstly, obviously anyone is welcome to add to the article I have created from information in the draft; secondly, I am slightly puzzled as to why a draft article has remained as such for years, and so many editors have added to it, without it ever 'going live'. Anyhow, we are where we are. - Derek R Bullamore ( talk) 11:16, 12 October 2022 (UTC)
BluesRock007 You had an abandoned draft created by someone else back in 2020 ( Draft:Eliza Neals) unabandoned earlier this month. Separately, User:Derek R Bullmore created an article about her, leaving a note on your Talk page to this effect. A third editor removed the connection to the draft, so that it now forwards to the article. What I suggest is that you look at the article and see if it can be improved. Although the draft no longer exists, if you click on Veiw history at the existing article, you can see and retrieve the content you had previously added to the defunct draft. I suggest you copy interesting parts of this to your Sandbox and then see if those parts are worth adding to the article. David notMD ( talk) 15:40, 12 October 2022 (UTC)

Hi, David, just to give more context to what happened in that Teahouse thread: The original post was made by The Anti-patroll, but the second was made by The Anto-patroll, a completely separate user who was registered *after* both the initial post and my reply to it. Both of the second user's edits were referencing the long-term abuse account Willy on Wheels; it's almost certainly not *that* LTA, but there are other LTAs that like to imitate that one. Either way, it's an extremely strong indicator that it was a vandalism-only account, attempting to perform a joe job on the original Teahouse poster, hoping a hasty admin would mix up the two due to the similar usernames and block the wrong account. Given this context, I don't believe it is unduly harsh, nor a record for blocking an obviously bad-faith account (and that it would take quite a bit more than "I was being childish and stupid and immature, and will never do it again" to get them unblocked), but as always you're welcome to seek a second opinion or whatever else you want to do. Hi @ DavidnotMD, You reversed my removal of the COI tag on the article about Nina Kossman. The COI tag was put there in early May of last year when one of the editors of the article (Hannayana) was still active on it; it was this editor who created an impression of "COI". This editor is not longer active; in fact, Hannayana has not edited this article since then, thus the activity that caused the COI has been stopped. Another point: Bonadea, the editor who put the COI tag, was not one of the frequent editors of the article; his only contribution to the article was the COI tag. (It seems that he is no longer active as an editor on Wikipedia.) Since the COI has been resolved, I would appreciate it if you reinstate my removal of the COI tag. Happy New Year! I'm Jeff, and have spent an hour trying to suggest an edit. (A simple error, not controversial.) It should not take an hour and end in frustration/failure, but I give up. The Patrick Stewart page states his home town as "Jarrow". I just finished his autobiography, which makes no mention of that South Tyneside town. He lived nowhere but 17 Camm Lane, Mirfield (a few weeks at Sykes Avenue, Mirfield).

Hello @ David notMD, thanks for your help on Maharajas' Express. The teahouse discussion is archived and I noticed that you already addressed the issue. I couldn't write there, so just a quick message to thank you for helping out.
Apart from the content you trimmed, I removed one extra line - An on-board boutique offers souvenirs.
I felt this was not required. I thought about adding a 'citation needed' at the end, but felt its better to remove this line since it appeared promotional and not too relevant for mention. I couldn't find any WP:RS citation for it either. If you feel that should be on the page, please let me know and I will add it back.

Dear mentor,
I am new to Wikipedia, and am in the process of writing a bio text for a user. Because my account is new, I have been doing small edits in pages that are part of my field of expertise. I believe that I would be able to create a page with valid information and relevant information, if my user has at least 10 verified edits. Would you be able to provide me with some tips on how to write a biography page (including a rectangular section with photos and bio information in the right hand side)?
Also, given that you are more experienced than me, would you be so kind as to let me know whether it is possible to start writing and save a draft page without publishing it? Or would you advise me to just write the page in one go?
Looking forward to your reply.

Hello David!
I'm working at an intergovernmental organization that have 11 member states.
I've brought up to my supervisors that having a factual article of our organization will be helpful in helping people understand what we do.
As such, they have allowed me to do some research.
We aim to be an uncontroversial organization whose goal is to improve trade and investment among our member countries and we conduct activities that aim to contribute to that.
What I would like to ask is: - can I submit an article? - what is the process like, how is it different from submitting articles of private companies? - there are government sources from member states about our organization as well, will that be considered as secondary sources? - can we cite our own publications for stuff like the list of our past Secretaries-general/activities?

I’m a psychologist, and I have looked over all the medical records for gypsy Rose, Blanchard, and she is not a victim of much House by proxy her mother and herself were both involved in grifting and fraud fraudulent games with nonprofit organizations. There was a case in Missouri against both of them for this. They both knew that gypsy was able to walk and they used the wheelchair as a way of gaining trips and money and any other notable item they could from these nonprofit organizations.
Also, all of gypsies medical reports state that gypsy had a chromosome disorder that required her to be seen by the doctors from a very early age for problems that this chromosome disorder does display. I think we might want to remove her name from the Munchhausen by proxy because legally she never had Munchhausen by proxy. -- Aliciah3 ( talk) 17:22, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
I think that it’s notable to remove gypsy Rose Blanchard from the Munchhausen by proxy victim list as she was not a victim of Munchhausen by proxy she actually had a chromosome disorder which made her mother have to give her certain medical treatment for various ailments from that chromosome disorder.
Also, gypsy Rose Blanchard and her mother both knew she could walk and did not require a wheelchair, but they used the wheelchair to get these nonprofit organizations to pay for various trips and cruises and other items along with giving them a house and paying all their bills. Both of them were under investigation for fraud and fraudulent schemes by the state of Missouri, because the state of Missouri had caught onto the grifting that they were doing, and the fraud they were committing with all of these various nonprofits . I think it’s notable to remove her from the Munchhausen by proxy victim list because she is not a victim of Munchhausen by proxy. She was a performer in her mother fraudulent schemes that she went along with if you watch the trailers for the lifetime series, her cousin even says that she used to push her cousins around in the wheelchair. Everybody knew that gypsy everybody knew she used a wheelchair but didn’t exactly know why because they did not know about the fraud that her mother and herself were committing. -- Aliciah3 ( talk) 17:26, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
