On 14 March 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from Minecraft (film) to Minecraft (2025 film). The result of the discussion was not moved. |

Is there anything wrong with this draft about the Minecraft film? 69.165.146.227 ( talk) 18:29, 3 February 2023 (UTC)
I am not sure if there are any reliable sources that say when filming for the project would begin. Can someone find more reliable sources for this article? 2607:FEA8:761B:C900:80C9:C7F:2C6D:481D ( talk) 16:03, 29 April 2023 (UTC)
According to a few sources I found ( [1] [2]), the premise described in the article may be out of date. Looking on Google for anything else seems to generally show that the most recently known version of the plot comes from a minecraft blog post from 2019 which has since been deleted, and turnover behind the scenes has likely made this no longer accurate (at least according to the direct). Would it be worth removing the premise section until the plot is officially announced or confirmed to be as-is? Or would it be better to mention that it's still subject to change? Thanks. Deauthorized. ( talk) 00:44, 5 February 2024 (UTC)
The result of the move request was: Not moved. Consensus that a combination of SMALLDETAILS and the 2012 documentary being rather obscure means additional disambiguation is not needed. ( non-admin closure) SnowFire ( talk) 03:57, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
Minecraft (film) → Minecraft (2025 film) – Dab from Minecraft: The Story of Mojang * Pppery * it has begun... 23:47, 14 March 2024 (UTC)
(film)
is also generally understood to mean "feature film" and not documentaries or short films, so I don't think anyone would be looking for the documentary when searching Minecraft (film). InfiniteNexus ( talk) 22:45, 15 March 2024 (UTC)
