From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Welcome to WikiProject Greater Boston Public Transit. Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of public transportation in Greater Boston and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list below.

Goals

  • In general, improve the coverage of public transportation in the Greater Boston area.
    • More specifically, close the large gaps currently present in coverage of certain parts of the public-transit network, and improve articles already present.

Scope

  • Public transportation in the Greater Boston area (corresponding approximately to the MBTA's service district) plus MBTA topics even outside Greater Boston.
