Welcome to WikiProject New England Public Transit! Several Wikipedians have formed this collaboration resource and group dedicated to improving Wikipedia's coverage of public transportation in New England and the organization of information and articles on this topic. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please join the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list below.

• In general, improve the coverage of public transportation in New England.
  • More specifically, close the large gaps currently present in coverage of New England public transit, and improve articles already present.

• Public transportation in New England, from the Connecticut commuter suburbs of New York to the furthest reaches of the Downeaster in Maine, and everything in between!

'' : Consider adding major railroads of the "golden age" of railroading and their affiliates to the project ( NH, B&A, B&M, CV, etc.), even if they extend into New York and Canada.
