Welcome to the
astronomy WikiProject! If you enjoy gazing at the
night sky, watching the
Moon,
stars, and
planets—or reading about the latest astronomical discoveries—then this is the project for you. We need help from enthusiasts at all levels of experience. There are over 30,000 astronomy articles on
Wikipedia, and many are in need of
expansion,
fact checking,
referencing, and
copy editing. If this topic interests you, please sign the
membership list and join the
discussion.
Our goal at WikiProject Astronomy is to guide the organization and style of all
Astronomy-related articles, maintain and improve the
Category:Astronomy tree, and support the
Portal:Astronomy. The overall significance of an article to this project, and to the topic of astronomy in general, is shown by its
Astronomy importance rating, as set by our members. Astronomy articles considered of vital importance to Wikipedia are listed on the
expanded vital articles list.
This list was generated from
these rules. Questions and feedback
are always welcome! The search is being run daily with the most recent ~14 days of results. Note: Some articles may not be relevant to this project.
