Thanks for uploading File:Flag of Provo, Utah (2015).png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. Hi, there. I'm the one who uploaded the SVG of the flag of Provo which you requested to be deleted. I'm new to uploading stuff to Wikipedia and I simply wanted to switch the original flag PNG with an SVG so that people could easily download and alter it. I catagorized it as a Fair Use Symbol as I didn't know how to otherwise do it. If you would like to upload the image with the correct information, I can send it to you. Many people including myself would like it to be available in SVG format as opposed to PNG format. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HyperActive1DUK ( talk • contribs) 22:10, 3 February 2019 (UTC)
You need to be an autoconfirmed user in order to upload there. I am not an autoconfirmed user and most likely won't become one. Again, I can send you the file to upload correctly if you want, but I can't do so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HyperActive1DUK ( talk • contribs) 11:59, 4 February 2019 (UTC)

Hello, SounderBruce. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, " Jarrett Walker".
In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Bruce, I cannot find any counter-indication to including an updated accessdate for a linked news article. is this a MOS thing you can point to? Your rollback also overwrote a grammer correction. Please consider working with what I write rather than bulk rollback as you have done to most of my attempts to contribute these past few days.

I’ve reworded the last paragraphs, which personally I feel is being a bit pedantic. The information was included to highlight that whilst the building has been vacant for over 18years it still evokes strong community feelings, as reflected by the postal strike. Would appreciate it if you could update your comments to reflect that I’ve done a QPQ and made changes to reflect the country’s history, otherwise other editors might incorrectly think I’ve done nothing to address your concerns. And so ends the first round of the competition. Everyone with a positive score moves on to Round 2. With 56 contestants qualifying, each group in Round 2 contains seven contestants, with the two leaders from each group due to qualify for Round 3 as well as the top sixteen remaining contestants.
Our top scorers in Round 1 were:
These contestants, like all the others, now have to start scoring points again from scratch. Between them, contestants completed reviews on 143 good articles, one hundred more than the number of good articles they claimed for, thus making a substantial dent in the review backlog. Well done all!
Remember that any content promoted after the end of Round 1 but before the start of Round 2 can be claimed in Round 2. Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Remember, if two or more WikiCup competitors have done significant work on an article, all can claim points. If you are concerned that your nomination—whether it is at good article candidates, a featured process, or anywhere else—will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews.
If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. Good luck! Sir,
I restored my edit to the MLS Cup 2018 article on grounds that "played indoors" was relevant to the game where the weather outdoors was not relevant to the game. The weather outside during the game would have resulted in a materially different outcome; the game itself was not played in 40-degree conditions; and I was there - it was not "overcast," there was a full heavy and sustained rainshower going on outside the stadium, which again would have affected the game.

Wikipedia’s gender trouble is well-documented. In a 2011 survey, the Wikimedia Foundation found that less than 10% of its contributors were women. While the reasons for the gender gap are up for debate, the practical effect of this disparity is not: content is skewed by the lack of representation from women.
Let’s change that. To help change this, the Jacob Lawrence Gallery is continuing a series of Edit-a-thons to improve Wikipedia's coverage of womxn and gender non-binary artists of color. Childcare, snacks from local businesses, and editing tutorials will be provided. All you need to bring is your laptop, power cord, and ideas. No previous Wikipedia experience required! Hi. Regarding this edit, it's my understanding that access dates are only needed for sources that might be altered over time. The documentation of Template:Cite book says that access dates are "[n]ot required for linked documents that do not change", such as published books and research papers. Because the Google Books and HathiTrust links point to scans of physical sources, including access dates for them does not have any utility IMO. Lord Bolingbroke ( talk) 21:10, 13 April 2019 (UTC)

Invitations for collaborative writing efforts or any other discussion of potentially interesting work is always welcome on the WikiCup talk page. Sir,
I restored my edit to the MLS Cup 2018 article on grounds that "played indoors" was relevant to the game where the weather outdoors was not relevant to the game. The weather outside during the game would have resulted in a materially different outcome; the game itself was not played in 40-degree conditions; and I was there - it was not "overcast," there was a full heavy and sustained rainshower going on outside the stadium, which again would have affected the game.

On 18 March 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article The Democrat-Reporter, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that after the editor of an Alabama newspaper called for the return of the Ku Klux Klan, he was replaced by an African-American woman? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/The Democrat-Reporter. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, The Democrat-Reporter), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hey Bruce,
I've put The Infinity Gauntlet up for FAC, but the nomination hasn't attracted much interest. I know it's outside your normal area of editing ,but if you have the time and the inclination to add your comments to Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/The Infinity Gauntlet/archive2, I would appreciate it. Thanks, Argento Surfer ( talk) 20:39, 19 March 2019 (UTC)
Hello. I think at this point in time, Amazon HQ2 may be eligible for a Good Article nomination. The whole "controversy" aspect has settled (unless Virginians decide to throw a coup d'état too but of course that's not likely). If you concur as the article's creator then I'll nominate it. Peace. Dear all. Recently, FR30799386 ( talk) was blocked for sock puppetry. Among their projects were a number of user scripts that they left behind. I (DannyS712) have copied the scripts, and have taken over maintaining them. You currently import one or more of FR30799386's scripts, and I thought that you might want to import a maintained version. Links to each script are provided below.
If you have any questions, please reach out and talk to me. -- DannyS712 ( talk) 03:57, 21 March 2019 (UTC)
Hi @ SounderBruce:, you recently diverged from the March 2019 North American blizzard, and actually, I support this move. Unfortunately, the topic of Nebraska and Iowa flooding has become quite severe. I think making a separate article definitely will help, and I will add more to it later today. Thank you. On 23 March 2019, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hilary Franz, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. So when another large development appears, for example, “Fairhaven Towers”, or “Bellingham Stateside” which is in development. Or when the skyline changes significantly, that’s when it will be a good time to change it?
Everyone is welcome. Access to UW wifi will be provided for non-UW affiliated participants. Please create a Wikipedia account before the event. RSVP through this Facebook event link.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
