Hi Kevin, why has this request not been declined? All 10 active arbitrators have voted, 4 in favor, 4 against, and 2 recuses. It would take 5 in favor to accept the case. Even AGK commented a few days ago that the case would be "removed in due course". Are we waiting for one of the arbitrators to change their mind? Or maybe you just haven't gotten a green light from the Committee. Although I have not made a statement (and won't), I'm personally in favor of anything that reduces the number of Fram-related discussions; of course, my "vote" doesn't count.

Last year we talked briefly about a user script idea you had - visiting an oldid of a revision that was deleted would show an error, so this script would redirect you to the actual revision page. Is this script still needed? It looks like there's a link now for that purpose. Or maybe your request was about something else?

This is about a page you deleted yesterday ( here is draft). I did ask Tony who deleted "speedy" a previous and very different version of the page [1], but there is no answer. Here is my question. Do this page still clearly clarify for "speedy", after all changes? I think it does not. And in that case, can we just recreate the page and let it go through the normal AfD process if anyone still thinks it should be deleted? I do not think it should go to WP:DRV because it was not deleted through AfD. I think the discussion and closing on AN was proper and should not be disputed anywhere including WP:DRV, and let's not waste anyone's time. So, I am not sure what can or should be done here. Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks. This contest is about taking high school students into the world of opensource. I'm sending you this message because you recently edited a documentation page at the English Wikipedia.
I would like to ask you to take part in Google Code-In as a mentor. That would mean to prepare at least one task (it can be documentation related, or something else - the other categories are Code, Design, Quality Assurance and Outreach) for the participants, and help the student to complete it. Please sign up at the contest page and send us your Google account address to google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org, so we can invite you in!
From my own experience, Google Code-In can be fun, you can make several new friends, attract new people to your wiki and make them part of your community.
If you have any questions, please let us know at google-code-in-admins@lists.wikimedia.org.
Thank you!

A tag has been placed on Category:Wikipedia sockpuppets of संदेश हिवाळे requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the category has been empty for seven days or more and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Hi Kevin, Thank you for reaching out to me. I apologize if my post wasn't appropriate or relevant to the current topic. I read Wikipedia frequently, but I have never edited nor taken the time to contribute. I live in Massachusetts and I am a graduate student studying at Boston College. Given the recent outbreak of COVID19, I started checking the wiki page for updates on what was going on in my state. When I noticed some information lacking, I started to try to do my part to share what I was learning from my local news. I thought this was necessary since there seems to be so much misinformation currently. Would it make sense for me to have moved that Biogen Covid19 portion to the main COVID19 page? I realize that Wikipedia is not a news page and I am sorry if it was inappropriate for me to add that to Biogen's page. I am a total newbie! What would you suggest? I did try to make sure everything was accurate and tried to make sure everything I posted had appropriate and legitimate citations. Anyway, thank you for reaching out to me. Wikipedia has always been a great resource for me and my only intention is to make meaningful and appropriate contributions. Thanks, Mark Francis ThomasAquinas2019 ( talk) 02:41, 10 March 2020 (UTC)
Hi Kevin
I'm wondering why you've blocked this user here when they hadn't performed any further edits to the article after the Arbitration warning was posted? I get that the coronavirus has everyone on full paranoia mode, but that seems excessive for what were originally good-faith edits by a long-term user, which they didn't attempt to repeat after being warned. Maybe I'm missing some back-history though? Cheers — Amakuru ( talk) 19:12, 17 March 2020 (UTC)

Hi. Should these edit summaries at Apartheid Museum, containing links to their FB and website, be revdel'd: Special:Diff/923129602, Special:Diff/922287805? —[ AlanM1( talk)]— 02:49, 27 October 2019 (UTC)
Hi! As requested, I'm just checking in to see whether it would be appropriate to be granted rollback rights permanently. You previously enabled them on my account temporarily, until November 6th. I've enjoyed my anti-vandalism work and would like to keep on doing it. Thank you! Ganesha811 ( talk) 14:50, 3 November 2019 (UTC)

Hello,
Google Code-In, Google-organized contest in which the Wikimedia Foundation participates, starts in a few weeks.
Thank you!

Hi L235! Just a note to say that your email is bouncing Wikimedia Space notifications and probably other mail too ("retry timeout exceeded"). If you want to receive Space notifications, please review that your Wikimedia username (here) has a functional email address confirmed, and then log in Space. Peace is a state of balance and understanding in yourself and between others, where respect is gained by the acceptance of differences, tolerance persists, conflicts are resolved through dialog, peoples rights are respected and their voices are heard, and everyone is at their highest point of serenity without social tension.
This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Hello Kevin (L235), I have some days left, till my pending changes right is withdrawn, so I want to ask if you could extend it. Maybe 2-3 months more? wide-spread support for an alternative desysoping procedure based on community input. No proposed process received consensus.
that checkuser and oversight blocks must not be reversed or modified without prior consultation with the checkuser or oversighter who placed the block, the respective functionary team, or the Arbitration Committee.

Hello,
I have been adding the information for the Coronavirus with regards to Ireland on this page. I am a university librarian at Maynooth University near Dublin and would like to continue updating the information for Ireland. I pull the information from the Irish government's website. You can see the posts for the 14th, 15th and 16th of March were made by me (two of them from my IP address as I had not made an account yet).
Thank you,
David — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dccrinehart ( talk • contribs) 00:20, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
Thanks so much, Kevin. I'll be sure to follow the rules and post important information with reliable sources noted. Cheers, David — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dccrinehart ( talk • contribs) 13:21, 19 March 2020 (UTC)
