Hello Dainomite! Thank you for showing an interest in joining my adoption program! I'll be happy to adopt you because I enjoy working with others – especially to help them become a better editor on Wikipedia!
Take a look at my edit history; I usually work at Articles for Deletion, Articles for Creation, in new page patrolling, and in vandalism-fighting. I have been an editor on Wikipedia for a year, and have made over 15,000 edits to the encyclopedia.
I'm usually available on Wikipedia from 0:00 - 5:00 and occasionally from 12:00-16:00 (all times
UTC). I travel frequently, usually on business trips around the world. I'm so young, yet so busy.
If I adopt you, I promise I will provide you with the most friendly, easy, and convenient adoption service through my adoption school. If you think I am the right adopter for you, we shall get started now! → B music ian 14:52, 10 June 2012 (UTC)
Welcome!
You are now a student at my adoption school. Your official adoption page is located at User:Bmusician/Adoption/Dainomite.
In your first assignment (which I have already assigned to you) you will learn about the five pillars. Read the lesson carefully. After you're done reading the lesson, you will take a test about the lesson. You must answer all of the questions in the test adequately in order to move on to the next assignment.
After you've completed all required assignments, you will then take a final examination. If you pass the examination, you are permitted to either continue to study at the adoption school, or "graduate" from the school. (We'll talk about that when that time actually comes.) If you fail, however, you must stay at the adoption school until you finally pass an exam. Please note that you may leave the school at any time without graduating, but that means that you won't be awarded the "special barnstar" I give to my graduate students.
That's it; again I welcome you to my adoption school! Please leave me a message on my talk page if you have any questions regarding the school. → B music ian 02:39, 11 June 2012 (UTC)

Dear Dainomite,
Thank you for completing your adoption assignment. Unfortunately, at least one of your answers to the questions have been found to be inadequate. As a result, additional questions have been given to you in which you must complete in order to move on to the next assignment. Please view the assignment on your adoption page and complete the follow-up questions as soon as you can, but remember to take your time. If you no longer wish to receive these notifications, please click here to turn them off.

I regret to tell you that I will no longer be active on Wikipedia, and due to that, I can no longer be your mentor. If you wish to continue to be under mentorship, please find someone else at Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user/Adoptee's Area/Adopters. Regards, → B music ian 07:53, 8 July 2012 (UTC)

Hi, I saw you got a little bit of a rough welcome when you tried to chip in at William the Conqueror, I just wanted to say that if you need help with policies or stuff like that feel free to drop me a line. And then as a piece of advice, its generally good not to experiment with Featured Articles or other reviewed content unless you are absolutely sure everyone will consider your change to be helpful - people have spent a lot of time and efforts making sure they are of the highest quality. A good rule of thumb is: if in doubt make a suggestion on the talkpage first. On the bright sight there is a lot of non-featured low quality content where pretty much any change will be considered an improvement. I tend to focus on those myself. Happy editing, and I hope you haven't been discouraged by the bit of defensive postures you've been met with. Looking forward to seeing your name pop up in my watchlist. ·ʍaunus· snunɐw· 01:02, 28 December 2012 (UTC)
I noticed you reversed its removal before and that you're actively editing the article despite the fact it's not in accordance with WP:REL and only acts as self-promotion towards the makers of the mod. To illustrate this with an example, the GTA San Andreas article does not mention MTA or San Andreas Multiplayer, despite their popularity and gigantic playerbase(Something that the Game of Thrones mod does not share, might I add). I'd appreciate if you could comment on the section I made in its talk page to further clarify your stance. -- IdanElh ( talk) 12:31, 29 December 2012 (UTC)
...let me know if you ever need help. Dennis Brown, WormTT, et all are dangerous folk :). I'm also waiting for The Winds of Winter to come out.--v/r - T P 23:16, 5 January 2013 (UTC)
I'm not entirely sure, I've never started one myself. From what I've gathered in my time here, it seems like only the largest scope WikiProjects do okay; it seems like a lot of the smaller WikiProjects and Task Forces tend to run out of steam relatively quickly. So I've never bothered to try to make one myself.
You could probably just ask if there is interest at the talk page at WikiProject Video Games. If they think it's plausible, they'll help or point you in the right direction, and if they don't, then you can still use WP:VG as an area to pose questions or ask for help on working it. I frequently ask and answer questions there myself, usually it's helpful. Sergecross73 msg me 15:03, 11 January 2013 (UTC)

I played around with this a little, expanding and formatting in the "new" Lineage section mostly. I doubt the 720th Ops Spt Sq will ever merit its own article, and IIRC the 10th Wx Sq may have had an article deleted in the past for lack of notability. You asked for a B-class review at WP:BIO for this. I think it is B-class, but as it is a milhist bio I'd suggest you ask for at WP:MILHIST review for a B-class review. They are very quick there - it will take only a day or two - and you may get extra feedback before a possible GAN consideration. My only concern is the list of orders, it looks not very pretty - maybe a table would be better? And most bios don't show pictures of awards, they just list them, so perhaps you'd be better of just redoing the section as a few sentences. -- Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 11:17, 15 May 2013 (UTC)

Alrighty, I was bored and created a template to be very user friendly as well as to conserve space on articles it would be used on. I only have Air Force unit streamers added right now for this demonstration. If we decide it's worth keeping over copying the straight table coding then I'll move it out to the template namespace and add in the rest of the streamers.

I just undid your revision to the awards for the wing. I have never seen this before, but the wing (and some of its subordinate units) was awarded a single AFOUA for split dates per the reference. It was not two separate awards. The citation is probably for the wing's support of deployed B-52 operations and excludes the period the entire wing was back at Glasgow. -- Lineagegeek ( talk) 18:48, 22 May 2013 (UTC)

Do you realise that this is the subject of an ongoing debate? See the talk pages for Deadmaus and MOS:TM. The appeal to Google hits you've made in the edit summary has been made in these discussions, including the original RM that resulted in the move from Deadmau5 to Deadmaus. So, you're not pointing out something that hasn't already been pointed out many, many times, and has not swayed any of those in support of the original RM. The primary styling of the artist's name should match the style in the article title, with any significant alternative stylisations in parentheses alongside the explanation of pronunciation. If you think the quantity of Google hits is a decisive point, then make that point in the relevant discussion (though, as I say, it's been made ad nauseum), but it's not grounds for making an executive decision on the styling of the name in the lede, which should match the article title. Hey Dainomite
I'm sending you this because you've made quite a few edits to the template namespace in the past couple of months. If I've got this wrong, or if I haven't but you're not interested in my request, don't worry; this is the only notice I'm sending out on the subject :).
So, as you know (or should know - we sent out a centralnotice and several watchlist notices) we're planning to deploy the VisualEditor on Monday, 1 July, as the default editor. For those of us who prefer markup editing, fear not; we'll still be able to use the markup editor, which isn't going anywhere.
What's important here, though, is that the VisualEditor features an interactive template inspector; you click an icon on a template and it shows you the parameters, the contents of those fields, and human-readable parameter names, along with descriptions of what each parameter does. Personally, I find this pretty awesome, and from Monday it's going to be heavily used, since, as said, the VisualEditor will become the default.
The thing that generates the human-readable names and descriptions is a small JSON data structure, loaded through an extension called TemplateData. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you'd be willing and able to put some time into adding TemplateData to high-profile templates. It's pretty easy to understand (heck, if I can write it, anyone can) and you can find a guide here, along with a list of prominent templates, although I suspect we can all hazard a guess as to high-profile templates that would benefit from this. Hopefully you're willing to give it a try; the more TemplateData sections get added, the better the interface can be. If you run into any problems, drop a note on the Feedback page.
Thanks, Okeyes (WMF) ( talk) 22:19, 28 June 2013 (UTC)

With participation in 2013 Korean crisis in mind, maybe 2013 North Korean cargo ship confrontation in Panama would interest you - it's a breaking news-type article in need of either expansion or reorganization (though my attempt to convert it into something like 2013 South Korea cyberattack was reverted), and I can't really find more to expand on. Maybe if you have experience in this sort of stuff you could help? (I'm definitely not pleading. Of course!) Thanks, Ansh 666 02:13, 18 July 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for trying to explain. I think it clouds the case.

Hi i've noticed that you've been undoing some of my edits on for example Category:North Germanic peoples. I'm just merging Category:West Germanic peoples and Category:North Germanic peoples with Category:Germanic peoples. Sorry of i was unclear. Have a nice day/night :) Krakkos ( talk) 20:21, 29 June 2013 (UTC)
I trust you're familiar with WP:3RR by this point. It looks like you and an IP are going back and forth about some text the IP has inserted into Joint Special Operations Command. The IP has been warned about 3RR; please make sure you don't cross the edit warring bright line yourself. — C.Fred ( talk) 20:12, 30 June 2013 (UTC)
I will use as an excuse my devotion to the June 2013 Military History cleanup campaign (but that only covers June). I have completed my project of expanding material on SAC Strategic Wings (except for Hound Dog/Quail missile comments), so it is entirely appropriate to stop beating around the bush and award:

![]() | Here is a semihemidemibarnstar for creating the unit awards template |
The unit awards template has really proved useful. I've even used it to replace my own previous edits.
I'll give you one for the campaign template when I figure out how to use it. Now how do I get rid of that leading box?;)-- Lineagegeek ( talk) 23:20, 13 July 2013 (UTC)
Have you ever considered running for adminship? AutomaticStrikeout ? 13:55, 17 July 2013 (UTC)
Why is lawyer statement allowed to stand and fact that Snowden is stuck in transit lounge from same article deleted? Patroit22 ( talk) 19:33, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Thanks for trying to explain. I think it clouds the case. Mr. Snowden appears to have no safe way to leave and he is at the mercy of Russian political system and intelligence operatives and selective editing of news articles distorts objective reporting of the facts . In the Wikipedia the name Chimena is wrongfully spelled as Jimena, I have corrected this to a more correct European style of spelling.

In this case, $1 is a software variable; go to the $1 disambiguation page and follow the link immediately above "See also". No clue why it displayed the variable instead of the time chunk that should have been displayed. Nyttend ( talk) 02:14, 9 September 2013 (UTC)
