I noticed that you marked that you had Wikified Wilton Lackaye; however, a review of the article shows that the Wikification was incomplete. Particularly the article was missing a large number of Wikilinks that should have been added. Adding Wikilinks is generally the primary aspect of Wikification; although, adding section headings, persondata, infoboxes, and wiki markup are still important. You recently added a {{
Reflist}} tag to the {{
Pussy Riot member}} template (which was not intended to have a reflist) without bothering to check what it would look like on the pages transcluding it (which have their own reflists). While this fixed the error notice when viewing the template directly, it caused style/layout errors on the including pages that induced other editors to remove the reference to this template entirely without checking. Fixing all this took more work than I should have had to do. In the future, please learn what the <noinclude></noinclude>

This page is not unambiguously promotional, because... (your reason here) --216.59.202.242 (talk) 06:22, 28 January 2014 (UTC) I want to write a page about a person that when I went to the chat room everyone agree he was note worthy. Over the 30+ year Reggie Foutain started a company of his namesake. Has personally won 100s of races. Hold the water off shore speed record for v bottom racing boats (177mph). Is a living legend in the power boat arena and is about to have a 40 year biography released about him. His competitor Don Aranow has a wiki page and he's been dead for over a decade. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donald_Aronow Google Reggie Fountain articles and you will get over 20 years of news to cite. There are dozens of YouTube interviews and racing clips to support his achievements. Do not because of me being a novice at writing a wiki page delete or discredit a man worth being written about on many topics. Instead of easily dismissing or deleting (lazy way out) why not encourage people that want to contribute actually notable person the correct way to submit, Thank you, Ryteme — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ryteme ( talk • contribs) 06:31, 28 January 2014 (UTC)

Hi! Thank you for reviewing Chikara Season One. I appreciate your feedback.
Chikara Season One is one topic and is related to Chikara. If I was to break it into sections, it would be choppy and possibly confuse the reader, as many different stories are being told within the course of one year. The stories are often intertwined and interconnected, adding another difficulty to adding sections. I will not be adding sections, but I did update and shorten the introductory paragraph per your suggestion.

I am looking at this from a google algorithm approach. Mainly, I am basing it on the statistical odds of a google search of "Carla Howe."

Even just a recent news search highlights that her alleged affairs have created global news reproduction and interest. While agree that flirting does not make it viable to be in Wiki, I did not know if I could use alleged affair even though it was reported and documented...
With one of the biggest stars of Manchester United and one of the biggest Heavy weight champions in modern time, it would appear that her actions are much greater in terms of society impact then many playboy models that are listed with wiki pages that really only did a reality show...Thoughts? ````danandrewsreporter — Preceding unsigned comment added by Danandrewsreporter ( talk • contribs) 02:52, 3 February 2014 (UTC)
OK, cool, this is my first go at it and since I spent a number of hours on it, I am going to give it my best shot. The thing that got me really thinking this should be a wiki page is because if someone Googles "carla howe" using a tor project browser then you will see literally the top three automatic searches are "carla howe instagram" then "Carla Howe Wikipedia" is the number 2 searched topic then the number three is carla howe amir khan... Which is pretty much how I got into this because I figured if google is saying that the public has such a strong interest in this individual that the second most requested topic carla howe wiki...then it should be done. Also looking at the Google Analytic trend over the last 90 days [1] as you can see her name is starting to pick up steam. Both due to affairs and her Playboy modeling. I am going to try to convey this and put a little more into this project, but at the end of the day, I feel if Google thinks via it's predictive search engine that someone needs a wikipage then well someone should do it Danandrewsreporter ( talk) 05:57, 3 February 2014 (UTC)danandrewsreports
Thank you so much for your input. In fact your advice actually supports my claim! In reading the Subjects notable only for one event... This absolutely validates my point. Please refer to [2] She had multiple high level celebrity affairs. In fact it is strongly arguable that she is an American version of Carla Howe. If Wiki guidelines allow for Rachel Uchitel to have a Wiki page and that she is noteworthyable then the absolute same discussion must be validated for Carla Howe. I don't see how Dowd's quote violates WP:RECENT. Senor was an advisor in Iraq during the Bush administration -- the first Bush administration at that. And Dowd doesn't say he was "responsible for the war in Iraq." Nor does she say "the war in Iraq was the biggest foreign policy bungle in US history." She says it was "one of the the biggest foreign policy bungles in US history." I honestly don't understand why you think Dowd "attacked" Senor here. What she wrote is valid criticism -- criticism which, I remind you again, appeared in a reputable U.S. newspaper. I don't want to get in an edit war either. How about if I reinsert the quote and make it clear Dowd wrote about Senor's role in the early stages of the Iraq war? The Iraq war is a continuously unfolding fiasco, 14 years in the making, but I agree, Senor isn't responsible for all of it. I'll make that clear in my revision to the article. Chisme ( talk) 22:39, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
Maureen Dowd's article starts the following way:
The article is initially about comments made by Paul Ryan at the Values Voter Summit held in Washington DC. Dowd's comments proceeding the following way:
Her article starts with Paul Ryan's comments, but then directs negative criticism about these comments to his “neocon puppet master” Dan Senor. I don't see that as "valid criticism," I see that as a WP:ATTACK.
Further, at what point in this article does Dowd ever cite a credible source? I understand that in one of your earlier comments, you used the following rational to keep the information on the page. “What she wrote is valid criticism -- criticism which, I remind you again, appeared in a reputable U.S. newspaper.” I would ask you to take a look at this article and this article. I think this makes it pretty clear that just because a piece of information comes from a “reputable source” like the New York Times, does not make it factually accurate. From WP:PUBLICFIGURE: "If you cannot find multiple reliable third-party sources documenting the allegation or incident, leave it out." At any point in this article does Dowd make a tangible connection between Senor and “one of the biggest foreign policy bungles in US history?" While Dowd’s comments are not supported by facts, there have been several other reputable sources that have published articles regarding the public out lash against Dowd for her comments about Senor in this article up for discussion. See [2] and [3].
While combing through Dowd’s article, I also came across the exact same quote that you recently “paraphrased” into Senor's article that you cited from Chandrasekaran’s book Imperial life in the Emerald City: Inside Iraq’s Green Zone. The information you added was “Chandrasekaran wrote about Senor, ‘Off the record: Paris is burning,’ he told (reporters). ‘On the record: Security and stability are returning to Iraq.” First, by stating “Chandrasekaran wrote about Senor” and then quoting “Off the record: Pairs is burning,’ he told (reporters),” this gives your citation a false sense of credibility. Senor didn’t tell Chandrasekran that “Paris was burning” he, allegedly, told unnamed reporters this. Secondly, this quote is nearly identical to the one included in Dowd's NY Times article that has been the topic of this debate from the get go. From ( http://www.nytimes.com/2012/09/16/opinion/sunday/dowd-neocons-slither-back.html?_r=0): “Off the record, Paris is burning,” Senor told a group of reporters a year into the war. “On the record, security and stability are returning to Iraq.”
I think the fact that you added an additional quote from Dowd’s controversial article, claiming it came from Chandraeskrana’s book, while we are still going back and forth about this initial quote from Dowd, is inappropriate. With that being said, I am respectfully removing the material you added to Senor's page and if you add the material back, I intend to file a case to WP:ANI.
An article of this nature is not permitted on Wikipedia and certainly does not belong on a BLP. Below is a list of Wikipedia policies it violates:
Wikipedia is not a news source: it takes more than just routine news reports about a single event or topic to constitute significant coverage-tabloid journalism is not significant coverage. Even a large number of news reports that provide no critical analysis of the event is not considered significant coverage.

Hello, I am soliciting comments for an RfC that is currently open on the "Glengarry Glen Ross (film)" page. There is disagreement about where the film was set (New York vs. Chicago).
One of the issues is whether it is original research to cite to elements in the film itself (including props, dialogue, and a statement in the end credits that it was "filmed on location in New York City") to establish setting.
Response so far in the RfC has been mixed. Comments welcome! Xanthis ( talk) 14:05, 9 March 2015 (UTC)

Are you really of the opinion that CMD is a reliable source? It is a hard-left advocacy org. I would say that it is generally reliable only for its own opinions. Your mere suggestion that it is reliable is being pointed to as support for the idea that ther is a "consensus" that it is RS and the use of CMD materials broadly at the Fred Koch bio article. I suggest that you look into CMD and the materials and reconsider. My assessment is that it is not, you may disagree but I hope you will consider looking again. Thank you for the edits you made to my article on Arthur T McCormack. Last week, I moved an article about his father, Joseph McCormack, from my sandbox to the main space. That's the only thing I've done so far on Wikipedia. I'm not really an editor; I've learned only enough to add that one article. This morning, I wanted to start the article about Arthur McCormack. I meant to begin it in my sandbox. But, somehow I created something in the public viewing space. I can probably 'finish' it this week, but I'm wondering if perhaps it wouldn't be better to move it back to my sandbox and work on it there. I don't know how best to 'delete' the article, fix in in sandbox, then move it when it's ready. Any suggestions? ( talk) 20:08, 10 May 2016 (UTC)

11/18/16 Comatmebro, I will redo my argument in favor again tomorrow, but I'll do it on my computer and copy & paste into Wikipedia so I don't lose it. This has been so discouraging. We started out building the page with joy and excitement. It's been one bad thing after another. Now I've been accused of voting twice, which isn't true. 11/18/16 Hi Comatmebro. Yesterday, I left a long dialog in support of why you should keep Tunberg's page. I countered SwisterTwister's objections. However, I cannot find what I wrote on Wikipedia. It seems to have disappeared. Again, I feel this page should be kept. I'll keep looking for my argument in support and update you when I find it. It may be in another section. Negatively qualifying Tunberg's page because of one editor's opinion is unfair, and it is damaging to his reputation. Cstwct ( talk) 02:26, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
11/18/16 Comatmebro, please confirm you received my Keep argument for Tunberg's page. I spent a long time tonight writing it and it doesn't show up again. This is the second time this has happened. I'm not sure if Wikipedia is knocking me out because I take too long. Maybe it goes into a section that someone reviews before posting. I don't know how this works. But I didn't save it to my computer again! I'm ready to give up. Cstwct ( talk) 03:39, 19 November 2016 (UTC)
Hi Comatmebro. I saw that you closed Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/William Tunberg (artist) because you were withdrawing your nomination. You can withdraw your nomination for sure, but I'm not sure you should close the AfD per WP:NAC. Another editor SwisterTwister did !vote that the article should be deleted so such a close is possibly contentious. I think it would be probably better for you to just add a comment on why you've changed your mind and leave the closing up to an administrator. -- Marchjuly ( talk) 05:06, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Hi. I removed the WP:BLPPROD tag you place on Peter P. Gudo. BLP PROD requires that there be no sources of any kind in the article. The article did have sources, and so it is not eligible for that deletion that method. It did have a previous AfD, so I have tagged it per CSD G4, but you should generally not tag an article with BLP PROD the same minute it is created, even if it is eligible. That's pretty much WP:BITE and doesn't give editors the chance to create articles that might be useful for building the encyclopedia TonyBallioni ( talk) 21:28, 3 December 2016 (UTC)

Hello Comatmebro. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that
there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (
CSD A1) and/or content (
CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at
Booso booso and
Amrinder Nagra. It is also suggested that pages that might meet
CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as
patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may
drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (
G10), blatant nonsense (
G1), copyright violations (
G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (
G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks.

Hey Comatmebro, I was hoping you could elaborate on why you moved Neil Gross, an article about an unambiguously notable academic, to draft space. You said in the move log that it was "Requested by original creator of page", but I was hoping you could provide more information about why they wanted it moved and why you decided to grant their request, as well as discuss whether/when it could be moved back into article space. Announcing the NPP New Year Backlog Drive!
We have done amazing work so far in December to reduce the New Pages Feed backlog by over 3000 articles! Now is the time to capitalise on our momentum and help eliminate the backlog!
The backlog drive will begin on January 1st and run until January 29th. Prize tiers and other info can be found HERE.
Awards will be given in tiers in two categories:
NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.

Hey, I noticed you marked yourself as a member of WikiProject Wikify and you are currently listed as active. I was wondering if you would be able to assist with our current backlog reduction plan. While traditional drives are more structured month-long sprints by WikiProject Wikify members, there is currently lacking activity within the project and in order to significantly reduce the incredible backlog, members are encouraged to review all articles marked with the Underlinked Template Message - {{ underlinked}} - a list of which can be found here - to analyze the worthiness of the template message on the given article. Articles that have nothing to link or are have had wikilinks sufficiently added should have the template removed to clear the backlog and make it easier for editors to find articles in genuine need of wikification. This can be done by any editor; however, all editors should consider joining if they haven't done so already. Thank you!

Hello Comatmebro, thank you for your work reviewing New Pages!
Overall the June backlog drive was a success, reducing the last 3,000 or so to below 500. However, as expected, 90% of the patrolling was done by less than 10% of reviewers.
Since the drive closed, the backlog has begun to rise sharply again and is back up to nearly 1,400 already. Please help reduce this total and keep it from raising further by reviewing some articles each day.

There are many wikipedia pages that do not have really noteworthy references or major Hollywood announcements. This is an independent film, a film with a very small budget, limited news coverage, and minimal attention. I can think of several wikipedia pages about minimal independent films that have at least reached the filming stage. Why can't we support small, unknown films? The film has purpose, as it depicts a love story during the Greek War of Independence. Just because millions/billions of people do not know about the film, does not mean its unimportant. This is an independent film, of course it doesnt have large megacorporation coverage. There are hundreds/thousands of low budget independent films with no major Hollywood coverage, many have their own wiki pages with no major promo websites. Independent films just do not have many promo or grand websites. Take this under consideration. Cardei012597 ( talk) 17:44, 12 September 2018 (UTC)

Hello Comatmebro,
Please join this discussion - there is increase in the abuse of Wikipedia and its processes by POV pushers, Paid Editors, and by holders of various user rights including Autopatrolled. Even our review systems themselves at AfC and NPR have been infiltrated. The good news is that detection is improving, but the downside is that it creates the need for a huge clean up - which of course adds to backlogs.
Copyright violations are also a serious issue. Most non-regular contributors do not understand why, and most of our Reviewers are not experts on copyright law - and can't be expected to be, but there is excellent, easy-to-follow advice on COPYVIO detection here.
At the time of the last newsletter (#25, December 2020) the backlog was only just over 2,000 articles. New Page Review is an official system. It's the only firewall against the inclusion of new, improper pages.
There are currently 706 New Page Reviewers plus a further 1,080 admins, but as much as nearly 90% of the patrolling is still being done by around only the 20 or so most regular patrollers.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process or its software.
Various awards are due to be allocated by the end of the year and barnstars are overdue. If you would like to manage this, please let us know. Indeed, if you are interested in coordinating NPR, it does not involve much time and the tasks are described here.

Hi Comatmebro! Can you explain this edit [4]? Your edit summary says "Removed per Wp:NPOV" but its not actually possible to remove coverage in WP:RS like that under NPOV, you can only add more sources or balance existing ones. There is no ground for a wholesale removal on NPOV grounds. Likewise this edit [5] says "Removed content from non neutral source" but I'm at a total loss as to what you could be referring to as a non neutral source. Horse Eye's Back ( talk) 06:01, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
This other edit to Political activities of the Koch brothers [6] also invokes NPOV but it has nothing to do with NPOV, its more POV pushing. Horse Eye's Back ( talk) 06:08, 30 April 2022 (UTC)
When your POV pushing is so blatant and indiscriminate that you're corrupting quotes by changing every mention of "climate change denial" to "climate change skepticism" you need to stop [7]. Note that this is the exact same fringe POV you're attempting to push at Koch family foundations. Horse Eye's Back ( talk) 06:05, 30 April 2022 (UTC)

Hello Comatmebro,
At the time of the last newsletter (No.26, September 2021), the backlog was 'only' just over 6,000 articles. In the past six months, the backlog has reached nearly 16,000, a staggering level not seen in several years. A very small number of users had been doing the vast majority of the reviews. Due to "burn-out", we have recently lost most of this effort. Furthermore, several reviewers have been stripped of the user right for abuse of privilege and the articles they patrolled were put back in the queue.
Several discussions on the state of the process have taken place on the talk page, but there has been no action to make any changes. The project also lacks coordination since the "position" is vacant.
In the last 30 days, only 100 reviewers have made more than 8 patrols and only 50 have averaged one review a day. There are currently 809 New Page Reviewers, but about a third have not had any activity in the past month. All 855 administrators have this permission, but only about a dozen significantly contribute to NPP.
This means we have an active pool of about 450 to address the backlog. We cannot rely on a few to do most of the work as that inevitably leads to burnout. A fairly experienced reviewer can usually do a review in a few minutes. If every active reviewer would patrol just one article per day, the backlog would very quickly disappear.
If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, do suggest they help the effort by placing {{subst:NPR invite}}
on their talk page.
If you are no longer very active on Wikipedia or you no longer wish to be part of the New Page Reviewer user group, please consider asking any admin to remove you from the list. This will enable NPP to have a better overview of its performance and what improvements need to be made to the process and its software.

What am I missing here that would make this edit non-disruptive? Horse Eye's Back ( talk) 20:25, 18 June 2022 (UTC)
Hello Comatmebro,
At the time of the last newsletter (No.27, May 2022), the backlog was approaching 16,000, having shot up rapidly from 6,000 over the prior two months. The attention the newsletter brought to the backlog sparked a flurry of activity. There was new discussion on process improvements, efforts to invite new editors to participate in NPP increased and more editors requested the NPP user right so they could help, and most importantly, the number of reviews picked up and the backlog decreased, dipping below 14,000 [a] at the end of May.
Since then, the news has not been so good. The backlog is basically flat, hovering around 14,200. I wish I could report the number of reviews done and the number of new articles added to the queue. But the available statistics we have are woefully inadequate. The only real number we have is the net queue size. [b]
In the last 30 days, the top 100 reviewers have all made more than 16 patrols (up from 8 last month), and about 70 have averaged one review a day (up from 50 last month).
While there are more people doing more reviews, many of the ~730 with the NPP right are doing little. Most of the reviews are being done by the top 50 or 100 reviewers. They need your help. We appreciate every review done, but please aim to do one a day (on average, or 30 a month).
A backlog reduction drive, coordinated by
buidhe and
Zippybonzo, will be held from July 1 to July 31. Sign up
here.
Barnstars will be awarded.
Many new articles on schools are being created by new users in developing and/or non-English-speaking countries. The authors are probably not even aware of Wikipedia's projects and policy pages. WP:WPSCH/AG has some excellent advice and resources specifically written for these users. Reviewers could consider providing such first-time article creators with a link to it while also mentioning that not all schools pass the GNG and that elementary schools are almost certainly not notable.
There is a new template available, {{
NPP backlog}}
, to show the current backlog. You can place it on your user or talk page as a reminder:
Very high unreviewed pages backlog: 15325 articles, as of 00:00, 31 July 2024 (UTC), according to DatBot
There has been significant discussion at WP:VPP recently on NPP-related matters (Draftification, Deletion, Notability, Verifiability, Burden). Proposals that would somewhat ease the burden on NPP aren't gaining much traction, although there are suggestions that the role of NPP be fundamentally changed to focus only on major CSD-type issues.

Hello Comatmebro,
After the last newsletter (No.28, June 2022), the backlog declined another 1,000 to 13,000 in the last week of June. Then the July backlog drive began, during which 9,900 articles were reviewed and the backlog fell by 4,500 to just under 8,500 (these numbers illustrate how many new articles regularly flow into the queue). Thanks go to the coordinators Buidhe and Zippybonzo, as well as all the nearly 100 participants. Congratulations to Dr vulpes who led with 880 points. See this page for further details.
Unfortunately, most of the decline happened in the first half of the month, and the backlog has already risen to 9,600. Understandably, it seems many backlog drive participants are taking a break from reviewing and unfortunately, we are not even keeping up with the inflow let alone driving it lower. We need the other 600 reviewers to do more! Please try to do at least one a day.

Hello Comatmebro,
Much has happened since the last newsletter over two months ago. The open letter finished with 444 signatures. The letter was sent to several dozen people at the WMF, and we have heard that it is being discussed but there has been no official reply. A related article appears in the current issue of The Signpost. If you haven't seen it, you should, including the readers' comment section.
Awards: Barnstars were given for the past several years (thanks to MPGuy2824), and we are now all caught up. The 2021 cup went to John B123 for leading with 26,525 article reviews during 2021. To encourage moderate activity, a new "Iron" level barnstar is awarded annually for reviewing 360 articles ("one-a-day"), and 100 reviews earns the "Standard" NPP barnstar. About 90 reviewers received barnstars for each of the years 2018 to 2021 (including the new awards that were given retroactively). All awards issued for every year are listed on the Awards page. Check out the new Hall of Fame also.
Software news: Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have connected with WMF developers who can review and approve patches, so they have been able to fix some bugs, and make other improvements to the Page Curation software. You can see everything that has been fixed recently here. The reviewer report has also been improved.
Suggestions:
Backlog:
Saving the best for last: From a July low of 8,500, the backlog climbed back to 11,000 in August and then reversed in September dropping to below 6,000 and continued falling with the October backlog drive to under 1,000, a level not seen in over four years. Keep in mind that there are 2,000 new articles every week, so the number of reviews is far higher than the backlog reduction. To keep the backlog under a thousand, we have to keep reviewing at about half the recent rate!

Hello Comatmebro,
The October drive reduced the backlog from 9,700 to an amazing 0! Congratulations to WaddlesJP13 who led with 2084 points. See this page for further details. The queue is steadily rising again and is approaching 2,000. It would be great if <2,000 were the “new normal”. Please continue to help out even if it's only for a few or even one patrol a day.
Onel5969 won the 2022 cup for 28,302 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 80/day. There was one Gold Award (5000+ reviews), 11 Silver (2000+), 28 Iron (360+) and 39 more for the 100+ barnstar. Rosguill led again for the 4th year by clearing 49,294 redirects. For the full details see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone!
Minimum deletion time: The previous WP:NPP guideline was to wait 15 minutes before tagging for deletion (including draftification and WP:BLAR). Due to complaints, a consensus decided to raise the time to 1 hour. To illustrate this, very new pages in the feed are now highlighted in red. (As always, this is not applicable to attack pages, copyvios, vandalism, etc.)
New draftify script: In response to feedback from AFC, the The Move to Draft script now provides a choice of set messages that also link the creator to a new, friendly
explanation page. The script also warns reviewers if the creator is probably still developing the article. The former script is no longer maintained. Please edit your edit your
common.js or vector.js file from User:Evad37/MoveToDraft.js
to User:MPGuy2824/MoveToDraft.js
Redirects: Some of our redirect reviewers have reduced their activity and the backlog is up to 9,000+ (two months deep). If you are interested in this distinctly different task and need any help, see this guide, this checklist, and spend some time at WP:RFD.
Discussions with the WMF The PageTriage open letter signed by 444 users is bearing fruit. The Growth Team has assigned some software engineers to work on PageTriage, the software that powers the NewPagesFeed and the Page Curation toolbar. WMF has submitted dozens of patches in the last few weeks to modernize PageTriage's code, which will make it easier to write patches in the future. This work is helpful but is not very visible to the end user. For patches visible to the end user, volunteers such as Novem Linguae and MPGuy2824 have been writing patches for bug reports and feature requests. The Growth Team also had a video conference with the NPP coordinators to discuss revamping the landing pages that new users see.

I noticed that you marked that you had Wikified Wilton Lackaye; however, a review of the article shows that the Wikification was incomplete. Particularly the article was missing a large number of Wikilinks that should have been added. Adding Wikilinks is generally the primary aspect of Wikification; although, adding section headings, persondata, infoboxes, and wiki markup are still important. You added the following, uncited, to the Human rights in Tunisia page on August 10:
The authorities have tight restrictions on freedom of expression, association and assembly, and government critics are harassed, threatened and imprisoned. Former political prisoners are also harassed, intimidated and subject to restrictions. Torture and other ill-treatment in police stations and prisons are reported. People prosecuted under the anti-terrorism law are sentenced to long prison terms after unfair trials. Death sentences are to be imposed, but the government maintains a moratorium on executions.
I found the following in the 2011 Amnesty report:
The authorities maintained tight restrictions on freedom of expression, association and assembly, and government critics continued to be harassed, threatened and imprisoned. Former political prisoners were also harassed, intimidated and subject to restrictions. Torture and other ill-treatment in police stations and prisons were reported. People prosecuted under the anti-terrorism law were sentenced to long prison terms after unfair trials. You recently added a {{
Reflist}} tag to the {{
Pussy Riot member}} template (which was not intended to have a reflist) without bothering to check what it would look like on the pages transcluding it (which have their own reflists). While this fixed the error notice when viewing the template directly, it caused style/layout errors on the including pages that induced other editors to remove the reference to this template entirely without checking. Fixing all this took more work than I should have had to do. In the future, please learn what the <noinclude></noinclude>
and <includeonly></includeonly>
tags do before making edits that require their use.

Hello Comatmebro!

Mainly, I am basing it on the statistical odds of a google search of "Carla Howe."
https://www.google.com/search?q="carla+howe"&rlz=1C1TSNF_enUS525US525&oq="carla+howe"&aqs=chrome..69i57j69i59j0l4.7924j0j4&sourceid=chrome&espv=210&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8#q=%22carla+howe%22&tbm=nws
Not sure how this got submitted for review, but I am only at the beginning stages of working on it. I would like to request that it not be deleted, perhaps moved to another area to allow me to work on it further. So sorry you had to spend time on something so incomplete, it was an error that it was submitted at this time.

Hello Bnatelle, Adding additional sources to the article I flagged for BLP PROD will keep it from being deleted. I'd be happy to remove the tag as soon as some references are added to the article. By using the "edit source" tab on that same article you will be able to add references to the page without any problems. I hope this helps. Best Comatmebro ~Come at me~ 05:45, 8 March 2014 (UTC)
Thank you for your interest in this article. I do not mean to discourage you, I reverted your edit because in my opinion it was not an improvement grammatically and did not represent the correct meaning of the word either. Helen Online 17:08, 16 June 2014 (UTC)

Your mere suggestion that it is reliable is being pointed to as support for the idea that ther is a "consensus" that it is RS and the use of CMD materials broadly at the Fred Koch bio article. It seems to have disappeared. Again, I feel this page should be kept. I'll keep looking for my argument in support and update you when I find it. It may be in another section.

Thanks.

I feel a need to tell you that your attempt to prod delete the article on Tsendiyn Munkh-Orgil was totally unwise. This type of behavior especially against new users is what keeps Wikipedia with too few editors, and in this case reinforces systemic bias. The foriegn minister of virtually any country is default notable, one in a country entering the news at the level of Mongolia is totally notable without question. I was able to find sources from multiple foriegn ministries, from Reuters, from Bloomberg and so on. I just hope that the editor involved will not be forever scarred away. Dear Comatmebro, I noticed you put a "needs notability established" template on the George Makdisi article /info/en/?search=George_Makdisi? I put the first footnote on the article. Would this be enough to establish notability? My notion is that subsequently I and possibly other Wikipedia editors could add additional footnoting/references, but in the meantime I would like to remove the template. What do you think? Also, notice that five books are mentioned in the article as being authored by the article subject. Would this authorship be enough to establish notability? Hello Comatmebro. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that
there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (
CSD A1) and/or content (
CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at
Thanks. -

Thank you for quickly deleting the page I wrote -- that was my first attempt and I saved one sentence and then walked away. I have since created /info/en/?search=Nathan_asher_and_the_infantry that I believe meets the guidelines. Unfortunately, I failed to properly capitalize the title. It should be Nathan Asher and The Infantry. I am not allowed as of yet to change the title. If you wish to change the title to the proper capitalization, please do. Thank you.

The New Page Feed currently has 2700 unreviewed articles, up from just 500 at the start of July.

If you have noticed a user with a good understanding of Wikipedia notability and deletion, do suggest they help the effort by placing {{subst:NPR invite}}
on their talk page.

There is a new template available, {{
NPP backlog}}
, to show the current backlog.
