  Before implementing my very first CBAN, I have read through the banning policy multiple times to make sure I do everything correctly; even the block reason hopefully reflects a careful, extremely policy-based approach that even links to the justification for blocking a banned editor – something an experienced administrator might instead have done per common sense and known practice only. The description "no longer a member of the community" is inevitably unkind as it clarifies that there has been an expulsion from the community, but that is what has happened. This seems to have been unclear (not only to the banned editor, to my surprise) and required clarification. He is absolutely one of the best editors that Wikipedia has to offer; extremely knowledgeable, professional, and courteous.
