Reason: It seems like a long time ago it was determined that combat is the primary topic for fight, but to me it seems like disambiguation would make a lot more sense, so I am arguing for a retarget to
Fight (disambiguation).
Reason: I know redirects are
CHEAP however; this redirect is incredibly improbably as it is from a title without diacritics but includes ọ, which is a letter with a diacritic making it a redirect from partial diacritics to a page with full diacritics. The diacriticless
Nguyen Ngoc Tho is a redirect that works perfectly well. I recommend delete.
Reason: Spartan who is marginally famous for being mentioned by Herodotus, but did not do much of significance and has no real lasting notability other than other historians repeating what Herodotus wrote. The single source of information that itself does not confer notability does not pass Anchimolius passed
WP:ANYBIO.
Reason: I cannot seem to find
Strabane referred to anywhere as Straban. The page initially targated
Strabo. The most appropriate target in my view is
Straban Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania and it should probably be retargeted there but with no incoming links on wikipedia and no pageviews in the past 30 days, I would not be oppose to a delete.
Reason: This seems to have been created by Heligoland (now Nick) for their userpage; however, this is no longer being used there or anywhere else as it is an orphan. I recommend it be deleted.
Reason: These redirects are unused and offensive terms. I know redirects can be non-neutral, but this does not meed the criteria for non-neutral redirects as it's not commonly used in any way so delete.
Reason: Not mentioned at target. It seems to be a paper by the target, but it's not notable and without being covered in the article at all is confusing.
Reason: I would normally just retarget this to
Rye myself, this has been targeted to
Rye (disambiguation) for 16 years, so I thought it would be better to get some others' opinions on this as well.
Reason: This should be retargeted to
Jeppson's Malört. While this is to some extent a genericiziation, Malort does generally refer to the specific Jeppson's Malört and not a generic Bäsk liquor. I think that we could add a redirect hatnote to Jeppson's Malört to compensate for the retarget.
Reason: This is a redirect that was created as a placeholder for an article here per the history. This should be deleted per
REDYES to allow for the article to be created.
Reason: There is nothing at the article about the airport and the only connection is that the airport was at the same place the mall is now. The airport itself is likely notable and when the redirect was created it was created with the summary "Redirecting until a proper page can be created for this historical airport". This was brought to my attention by
Bdushaw at
Talk:Green Acres Mall#Weird redirect. In summary, delete per
WP:REDYES.
Reason: In doing
WP:BEFORE, there seems to be a few academic articles about using Adhearsion in building an Asterisk system, but these don't seem to me to meet
WP:GNG as they are not about Adhearsion, but more tutorials on how to use it.
Reason:
WP:PROD'd by
Edvid as the event will not take place at the events; however, as redirects are not eligible for PROD, I figured it made sense to take this to RfD. As the event is not taking places, as stated by Edvid and confirmed by further research, then it makes complete sense to delete what is a not helpful redirect.
Reason:
WP:PROD'd by
Edvid with the rationale that the event is not happening, which is true; however, redirects cannot be deleted via PROD, so I am proposing this for deletion.
Reason: This is a widely used redirect so I don't love bringing it to RfD, but I think that it's come to be relatively confusing that
WP:CRITERIA specifically means the criteria for deciding an article title. There is a {{redirect}} hatnote that links to
Wikipedia:Criteria (disambiguation); however, I think this should retarget
Wikipedia:Criteria (disambiguation).
Reason: While well intentioned, this has not been used recently and the page linked from the template for page curation is red-linked, leading me to believe it might not have ever been used.
Reason: The page was created at this title with a duplicate "Episode" in the title. It was moved 3 days after creation, so there isn't a huge concern about external links and there are almost no wiki-links.
Reason: This page is no longer updated regularly as the bot who maintains it
User:DASHBot was blocked and deactivated in 2013 after it started malfunctioning and none of the corresponding pages have been updated since then.
Reason: I initially retargeted this to Owl Service, but there really isn't a great target for this. It was initially targeting
SEPTA subway–surface trolley lines, before my retarget. This doesn't really seem to refer to any specific concept and I cannot find anything to back it up as a nickname for the subway-surface, so I think deletion is the best route.
Reason: Seems like an implausible redirect to include the entire http protocol, especially when
http://www.google.com redirects to
https://www.google.com, making this an outdated link for anyone to be using to visit google. The page views are negligible and are likely from people accidentally pasting the link into wikipedia instead of the URL bar.
Reason: Redirect from a domain with a space in it seems unnatural/implausible. AbeBooks.com is fine, but the space makes this seem to me to be an implausible search term.
Reason: This disambiguator within disambiguator makes this redirect very implausible. Star (Murk album) serves the same purpose without the interior disambiguator.
Reason: Wonder Woman, to the best of my knowledge and from the research I did, has no particular affinity to the Greek Language, so delete per
WP:RLOTE
Reason: This redirects to Hangul, it might make sense to redirect to
Hangul Syllables instead as this is on that page as U+BEF8; however, seeing as no other symbols redirect to that page and there are many, many symbols, it seems like this could be deleted without harm.
Reason: While this person might or might not be notable, this article is wholly an advertisement and should be deleted under
WP:TNT. It seems too old to delete via
WP:G11.
Reason: This seems like
WP:OR by way of
WP:NECC. I can't really seem to find much that discusses MPs who only sat in the 29th parliament as a group in
WP:BEFORE, but it's not a particularly easy topic to search for.
Reason: (Disclosure: I nominated this 6 months ago and the result was "No consensus")This is a mostly unused redirect that while
WP:CHEAP is highly implausible. It would require someone to have the ability to type the ọ character, but none of the other diacritics. The only languages other than Vietnamese to use ọ in any form are Romangol, Igbo, and Yoruba. I'm arguing it's highly unfeasible someone would be able to type ọ but not any of the other diacritics.
Reason: In doing
WP:BEFORE could not find much to help this person pass
WP:GNG. I found passing mentions of him in
Guyana Chronicle and Guyana Journal, but neither said much beyond "He played for Guyana". The Guyana Journal does note him as an early Indo-Guyanese cricket player, but having played for only one game and with no other sources providing notability beyond that, I don't think he passes
WP:GNG.
Reason: This bible quote translates to "With a strong hand and a outstretched arm, because God's grace is forever." Also, this contains both cantillation and vowels, which makes it unlikely for someone to type in, unless one is copying from like mechon-mamre. It's a cheap redirect, just a pretty implausible one. ביד חזקה ובזרוע נטויה would be a much more plausible redirect as it contains just the words mentioned in the article and doesn't have cantillation.
Reason: This abbreviation has multiple meanings in Hebrew. The one it is seemingly going for is בקר שליטה ימית, however that seems to be just as commonly, if not more commonly abbreviated as בק’’שית as opposed to בק’’ש. Furthermore, with בקר שליטה ימית, or really nothing about Israeli FCSs mentioned at the target, this is approaching
WP:RLOTE territory, so it seems this would be best deleted.
Reason: While the French did
annex the Dominican Republic for 14 years, it was not called République dominicaine. It was during the Era de Francia called "Saint-Domingue", and as there is very little french spoken in the modern Dominical Republic, this seems like
WP:RLOTE to me.
Reason: Camden is not a township and I cannot find much to say it ever was. It was incorporated as a city in 1828 and seems to have been unincorporated before then, but this is an implausible search term as Camden, NJ isn't referred to as a township.
Reason: This specific phrase is really only used in reference to
Steve Bannon and had mild traction in 2012 due to
this article by
Amy Davidson Sorkin and again in 2017 because of Trump's election and subsequent appointing of Bannon. I am split on whether this should be retargeted to Bannon as he is the likely target of this or to delete because this redirect was created before that article, but I am finding little usage of this to refer to dissidents. The edit summary says coined by RMS but I am not sure who RMS is.
Reason: It was an article about rural Canada before being
BLARred, which wasn't necessarily an incorrect decision as the article was in a mostly unsourced and essay like state at the time, but its current target doesn't really have any relevant information on rural Canada as a concept.
Reason: Stonewall Heights is a name a developer tried to name a portion of
Kensington, Philadelphia in 2017 that gained no traction anywhere in usage. It's not mentioned at the current target article or at the
Kensington, Philadelphia article, furthermore a publicity stunt by a developer is not notable enough to be included on wikipedia; therefore, I recommend deletion.
Reason: This is a highly unnatural disambiguator to the point of implausibility. While it is not a double disambiguator it contains the entire target's former name in it. Media/Elwyn Line goes to the same place.
Reason: This person is a perennial candidate for office and linking to the next/most recent election contested makes this a costly redirect. It seems there's no one single target that works best and thus this redirect should be deleted.
Reason: These color designation for SEPTA regional rail routes are completely unused. The color names which these routes are used on the schedules for the routes, but they are not at all called by these names. Furthermore, these names present additional confusion as these colors from 2011–present[1] are in conflict with previous color systems for the trains where they had different colors.[2]
Reason: While they are in Pennsylvania, they are specifically in Philadelphia and the train terminates well within Philadelphia, so arguing for a rename to be more precise.
Reason: It seems like while bots change the targets through double redirect fixing it should probably target
Havant New railway station but neither its current target or the possible retarget above cover both Denvilles Halt (which was the name of
Warblington railway station) and the Battle of Havant (which is covered at
Havant New railway station). This seems like a
WP:XY so it should probably be deleted.
Reason: In doing
WP:BEFORE, I cannot find anything about this that would lead to it being notable via
WP:GNG. It's a widely used gem, no doubt, but that doesn't make it inherently notable.
Reason: Sorry for the deluge of these bundled transit related noms, the Muni LRV lines are not referred to by color and in the case of a few of these, they could be confusing with other lines that are referred to by color in the same area (e.g.
Blue Line (VTA) or
Blue Line (BART)).
Reason: (Disclaimer, I nominated this 1.5 years ago and this was kept) This is not an abbreviation for Pennsylvania. It is based on a misread HUD document (see
File:Screenshot_of_HUD_Document_for_Pennsylvania.png). The Pennsylva is just because the nia wraps around to the next line.
Reason: These terms are unused. The Delaware Valley is a term referring to the Philadelphia Metropolitan Area. The Delaware River is a river that runs on the Eastern border of Pennsylvania dividing it from New Jersey and New York.
Reason: This is a
WP:XY situation as this can target the Atlantic City Line or
SEPTA Regional Rail, which services two stops in New Jersey (Trenton and West Trenton). This should be deleted.
Reason: While 30th Street is the largest station in Philadelphia, it is not the only station in Philadelphia with the other center city stations having a fair share of volume of traffic as well as many other stations around the city. It's also not the only Amtrak station in the city with Amtrak stopping at
Cornwells Height station and
North Philadelphia station within the city limits as well. In summary, delete as there are many railway stations in Philadelphia.
Reason: Similar to my nomination below for
Philadelphia railway station, New York has multiple railway stations. By page views alone, it's clear there's no primary topic between Penn Station and
Grand Central Terminal for the topic of New York railway station. As well, this could apply to any railway station in New York City (of which there are many) and even the entirety of New York state (of which there are even more). It seems like deletion is the appropriate course of action here.
Reason: I understand that this is from a move and therefore gets a ton of page views (especially because it is linked to from certain places), but this is a
WP:ASTONISHING redirect to me. I was expecting an article about how Brexit has impacted the UK, not how Brexit was predicted to have impacted the UK. I would love if there were an appropriate place to retarget to, but otherwise this should be deleted under
WP:REDYES to encourage article creation.
Reason: Page was
WP:BLARred in 2007 for having original research, but the target of Jesus alone isn't particularly satisfactory either. I'm putting this here largely because I can't think of a good target and don't really know enough about Jesus to find a proper target.
Reason: This is an
WP:XY. They were billed as co-headliners so this tour is about as even in terms of not having a
WP:PT as you can get. There's no real benefit to disambiguating here as neither band's article has much on the concert. Either delete per
WP:XY or
WP:REDYES, but as it stands this redirect is not helpful. I will note, this was
BLARred 10 days ago by another user per
WP:NTOUR, so if consensus opposes the BLAR, I'm also ok with keep without prejudice to AfD; however, I don't oppose the BLAR myself.
Reason: While there are still a number of people who reject the notion of the singular they, it has become an increasingly common an accepted part of vernacular. Personally, as a wikipedian who uses such as their pronouns and does not want to be referred to by the reductive he/she, I just seem no reason for said templates to exist. It is intended (and realistically can only be used) in userspace. While some wikipedians have not set their gender and will have {{them}} render "them" versus {{he or she}} rendering "he or she", I can't foresee this causing any form of issues in communication. In the absence of wikipedia's ability to let users set a gender-neutral pronoun explicitly, it seems both inline with the increasingly common singular they and being inclusive to migrate from he or she to they.
Reason: These have the Area Code XXX (for example
Area code 904) of numbers in the
North American Numbering Plan, but instead are country codes for the places they are retargeting leading to confusion for the reader. From doing some research (albeit biased by being in America), I can't find much using country codes and area codes synonymously.
Reason: This was
BLARred in 2013 for being a non-notable edition of the Bible. As such, it is not mentioned in the article on the
Bible. To me, nothing about this edition of the bible seemed notable and without it being mentioned at the target (and seemingly nowhere else on wikipedia), deletion seems appropriate.
Reason: This targets to a now (and seemingly long) deleted section, with no other suitable target on wikipedia. The concept refers to eating vegetarian food on vacation when vegan food is not available, but I just can't seem to find anywhere that is covered on wikipedia. It seems to have been coined by
Peter Singer, but is similarly unmentioned on his page.
Reason: I can find no evidence of this as a name for Boston anywhere on the internet. Also, this was created by a user whose only contribution was this and whose name is bontonsoup.
Reason: I can't see anything that refers to Jacksonville as "Freakville" other than an urban dictionary post that seems to cite the existence of this redirect as a claim. Regardless, it also seems to be used to refer to a variety of other places, but none in common usage enough for it to be DABified. Deletion seems like the best option.
Reason: Unused template redirect and while not a horribly implausible typo if it were in article space, it seems less useful in template space especially as it is unused.
Reason: There are numerous scandals that could be labelled as "Iraq scandal". I think the inclusion criteria could be a bit hard to develop if DABified, but it's a possibility. I am also ok with deletion as this seems to be broadly unused.
Reason: This was an article on future olympic games that did not yet have an announced host, but was
BLARred in 2007 to redirect to
Olympic Games. There does not seem to be a place for upcoming olympic games.
Reason: This is a pantone color that was mentioned at blue but is not currently mentioned at blue other than a passing mention as the blue in the EU flag in a caption for the EU flag. There are a lot of other passing mentions of this color on wikipedia, but nothing that seems to actually describe the color. It seems like there should probably be a section added to
Shades of blue called Reflex Blue, but it's not currently there.
Reason: This is not in any form mentioned in the article. This is an {{R from move}} where the article was moved to
Features of Guinness World Records Books which in 2007 was merged due to an
AfD discussion, but nothing that is really relevant to this in any significant form is on the page 15 years later.
Reason: I personally can't find anything that ties this phrase to niagara falls in doing some different searches. It is not mentioned anywhere on the page.
Reason: This was created as "spying kettle" when there was a section on the page at the time, Old revision of Kettle; however, this has since been removed. It was largely based on seemingly sensationalist stories about how Chinese houseware was found in St Petersburg in 2013 to have spyware, but that is not mentioned in the article.
Reason: I'm not an expert on finding sources, especially for more obscure European parties, but I can't really seem to find anything that makes this party notable. It seems to be a failure of
WP:NORG to me.
Reason: Yuri Sucart is Alex Rodriguez's cousin who was involved in the
Biogenesis scandal, but he is not mentioned anywhere on wikipedia and if a mention isn't added, this redirect is a bit confusing. A redirect to
Biogenesis scandal seems like it might be preferable if an appropriate mention can be added, but otherwise it seems like deletion is the way to go.
Reason: I don't really have a great idea as to what to do with this redirect. Its target has been changed a number of times. While it seems like
30th Street (San Diego) is more precise, it's a far less popular article than
30th Street Station, which is rather commonly referred to as "30th Street". I don't think deletion is the answer, but I would like to hear other editors opinions as to keep it where it is, retarget to
30th Street Station or do something else entirely?
Reason: The SkateZone venture of the Flyers is not mentioned at the article and as the Flyers sold three of them[3] and converted the fourth into a private practice facility, meaning the "Flyers Skate Zones" do not exist anymore, making them highly unlikely to be covered in the article. This was the result of a
WP:BLAR in 2014.
Reason: Les Widdifield was a long-time scout for the Devils, but he is not mentioned at the page currently. His passing is mentioned at
2011 in Canada#August, but nothing much about him is listed there either.
Reason: This symposium and exhibition is not mentioned on wikipedia. This has always just been a redirect to
Electric vehicle. At the time of creation of this redirect 2009, the article did mention this; however, it had just been added by the creator of this redirect and it was an external link within the article body that was removed in 2010 in an edit that "reduce links". With no mention for around 12 years and a potential
WP:XY as this is also about hybrid and fuel cell cars makes me think deletion is the best option.
Reason: This is less a nickname than a thing mentioned in a
2008 post on TNR that gained essentially no traction. There's under 100 ghits for "Sir Rock Obama" and only 10 if ignoring wikipedia. It also has a total of 3 pageviews this entire year. Deletion seems the way to go.
Reason: In doing research Cossart might or might not be an actual place or just a name accidentally extrapolated from a railroad station that was there called Cossart (possibly due to Cossart Road which is in the area of the former station) on the
Wilmington and Northern Branch. Regardless, what is referred to as Cossart is in
Pennsbury Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, not Kennett Square it seems, but it is not mentioned in either article. It is mentioned in
List of places in Pennsylvania: C, and I pressume that comes from GNIS where it is listed as a "Populated Place", but that regularly was applied just to train stations. With no actual mention of it in either place it could be targeted and the only mention of it on Wikipedia is that it exists in
List of places in Pennsylvania: C makes me think deletion is the way to go.
Reason: Not a common nickname for Applebees and in the uses I've seen for it online it's pretty split between being a nickname for Applebee's and a nickname for the United States of America. Seems like we wouldn't cause a whole lot of issues with deletion.
Reason: These both target different places but neither have a mention of Zorro Reborn. The only mention I can find of Zorro Reborn on wikipedia is at
Gael García Bernal's page, but it seems to not be an appropriate target. The cancelled project seems to be pretty non-notable.
Reason: With Truss' resignation, it seems like this redirect will very likely have multiple targets. I figured pre-empting any retarget and having a discussion about what to do with this redirect at RfD would be a good way to decide.
Reason: Pennsylvania is definitely commonly misspelled in a number of ways, but it's not pronounced this way and this seems like a pretty unlikely misspelling. It alternatively is a derogatory but unused nickname for Pennsylvania given the substring made by the first 5 characters.
Reason: While there is a bit of evidence and usage of Newfoundland being called Talamh an Éisc, from my research it seems that "Talamh an Éisc agus Labradar" is rarely used unlike Talamh an Éisc without the last two words.
Reason: Simón Bolívar Day is a day celebrated in a number of South American countries, but is not mentioned at the target. It seems like this could probably be its own article anyways, so with the lack of appropriate target and the potential for this to be its own article, I think this should be deleted under
WP:REDYES.
Reason: This is an essentially never linked to and rarely used by pageviews XNR using the CAT: pseudo prefix. While there are some XNRs with the CAT: pseudo-prefix that are considered to be useful due to how popular said categories are like CAT:PROD or CAT:PEND, but it seems that this is pretty specific for an XNR.
Reason: This will very likely result in a keep, but if there is consensus
WP:DIFFCAPS matters in this instance, then
Depth sounding#terminology might be a more appropriate target. If not then, keeping makes sense. I do acknowledge there is a
Mark Twain (disambiguation) at which that is listed, but this is the only "mark twain" instead of "Mark Twain" at the DAB.
Reason: I can find pretty much nothing that refers to New Hope as Old Hope. There might have been a mill there previously called Old Hope Mills that was destroyed then renamed to New Hope Mills, but I can't find a good
WP:RS on that, and I can find nothing saying that New Hope was ever referred to as Old Hope.
Reason: Created from a typo that seems to be an unlikely search term. While hosue for house isn't that improbable, and United States House of Representatives elections in Kentucky, 1932 is itself pretty unused so a typo version of it is implausible just from the length and typo.
Reason: I was at first going to retarget this to
WTXF-TV, which is her current station, but this realistically just seems like a costly redirect, which is evidenced by how long it has pointed to a page that is the station she has not been at for what it seems 6 years and that only has a passing mention of her on the page.
Reason: As thanksgiving is on a Monday in Canada and a Monday in Saint Lucia, both seem to use the term "Thanksgiving weekend" as well (as does Grenada when thanksgiving falls on a weekend or near to). It seems that this refers to more than just
Thanksgiving (United States). I was originally going to BOLDly DAB, but I'm not sure if it would be a great DAB. Coming to RfD for opinions as I have no strong leaning as nominator other than I am not a huge fan of the current target as I find it ambiguous.
Reason: Very infrequently used redirect from lyrics that are not mention in the article. When I get older... had 40 total pageviews in 2021 and They'll call me freedom... had 42.
Reason: This was originally a dab that was later converted to a soft redirect to wiktionary; however, the redirect is essentially retargeting to a Japanese word that has two English meanings neither of which seem to be used particularly commonly in English.
Reason: These redirects a bit odd. While Cymru is the Welsh name for Wales, it seems implausible to search in the Cymru / Wales format as opposed to just
Cymru or
Wales. It doesn't seem like the format of Redirect in Country's Main Language / Name of Country in English are extant for many other places that I can see, so it doesn't seem to be a widely used convention. The redirects themselves are both pretty infrequently used with 15 and 6 pageviews this year for
Cymru / Wales and
Cymru / wales respectively.
Reason: Courtesy nomination for
217.20.247.226 who
WP:PROD'd this redirect with the rationale: "The SODs are not part of COBDO and do not fulfil notability"
Reason: Initial reason for deletion proposal: this is
WP:RLOTE as there is no inherent connection between latin and agriculture. Looking at the article history, this is very weird and seemingly was supposed to be moved to wiktionary in 2005 at
Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Agricultura, but it's unclear what happened.
Reason: This retargets currently to
Overtime (sports) because a soccer match with added extra time is 120 minutes long, but there seem to be a number of other plausible targets. There's
Thirteen (Teenage Fanclub album) which is where 120 Mins redirects as that's a name of a song on the album. There is as well a television show called
120 Minutes. It seems this redirect could point to either of those just as reasonably, but I don't really have an idea as to which it should point to.
Reason: I cannot find that this person passes
WP:GNG from my
WP:BEFORE and per
WP:NCRICKETcricketers who have played at the highest domestic level, or in the lower levels of international cricket, may have sufficient coverage about them to justify an article, but it should not be assumed to exist without further proof. While this person does did play in the highest level of domestic cricket in Sri Lanka, I could not find evidence of notability to justify an article.
Reason: I'm not sure if this qualifies for AfD or RfD given it targets wikispecies. This wikispecies target page is about an ichthyologist. It seems like this should probably be
WP:REDYES'd. It seems like this soft redirect to wikispecies for a non-species is a
WP:SURPRISE, at least to me.
Reason: Procedurally nominating as
Walesbest12 PROD'd the page as a draft. Normally, I would tag this as
WP:G7, but
Greenappleee4 also contributed to the page. I do not myself have a position on deletion, this is a procedural nomination.
Reason: While parts of EWR are located in Elizabeth and it is partially owned by Elizabeth, the airport is not known by this name. I boldly retargeted the similar Elizabeth Airport to
Elizabeth City Regional Airport, but as that airport does not seem to be international, it seems the best route for this page is deletion.
Reason: I can find absolutely nothing for this meaning random. There's no explanation either as to the connection in the edit summary for the creation of the redirect. Delete unless a connection can be found.
Reason: I can find absolutely nothing on the internet for the term Makatusi outside of a website that seems to list it as an alternate name for Tonga from compiling wikipedia redirects to a page. The only other use of the word on the internet I can find outside of being in someone's name is in a wikimedia incubator project for the
Thao language; however, I cannot find anything stating this is the name of Tonga in Thao. It seems this would be best deleted, unless a connection can be shown.
Reason: There is much more to the Andretti family than the "Andretti curse". While this does to some extent cover the family, it's not a great target in my view, but I am not sure what a better target would be. It also might be
WP:REDYESsable.
Reason: This presumably is in reference to the Wurzels' song I am a Cider Drinker; however, that article does not itself have an article (other than an article about a cover version at
Remember Me/I Am a Cider Drinker). I was thinking this could go there to be consistent with I Am A Cider Drinker as it is currently or be targeted to
Cider, or stay where it is and I am unsure what the best option is.
Reason: This appears to be from
The Hudsucker Proxy; however, it is not mentioned there or at
q:The Hudsucker Proxy and it is an unlikely search term to hula hoop, so it should probably be deleted.
Reason: Was
WP:BLARred and redirect to
Ağbiz by Shhhnotsoloud with the rationale: "no mention of 'Agbiz' at
Agribusiness". Per the 2021 RfC on BLARring, I have procedurally nominated this for deletion to have consensus on the page.
Reason: I can find little indicating this means beer in common usage. There are people with the surname Bheer, but no one who has a wikipedia article. It seems like this would best be deleted, unless a rationale for this meaning beer can be provided.
Reason: This was originally a copyvio about a specific brand name of beer that was converted to a redirect. There is no mention of this specific beer on wikipedia (and there likely shouldn't be), so this would best be deleted.
Reason: There seems to have been a bit of page history going back and forth on whether this should be a DAB, a redirect to NATO, or a redirect to the Otan DAB. In my view, it should likely go directly to NATO as nothing on the
Otan DAB page other than NATO, so per
WP:DIFFCAPS I support retargeting there, but as it seems contentious, it seemed wise to bring it to RfD.
Reason: These redirects are a bit odd as they have two places they can target. One is the line itself, every one of which's article describes its path as going through the loop, or its current target. It is also possible that these are just implausible redirects and could be deleted instead of trying to find an appropriate target for them due to lack of usage.
Reason: These are names of multivitamine supplements that seem to be not notable on their own and are not mentioned at the target. While
Vitaped is mentioned in
List of drugs: Vf–Vz, it is in a list with no description on what it does. Oralovite and Amdexyn have no mentions at all on wikipedia. It seems these would be best deleted.
Reason: I cannot find anything that pushes this person over
WP:GNG. It's possible that sources are hard to find because he passed away in 1870 and played in the 1820s-1840s, but I can find little to attest to notability or to much of his life other than his playing cricket and some associated statistics. I would normally PROD, but I feel that there might be something out there that leads to this person being notable only because his playing a first-class cricket match in both 1828 and 1841 as attested to on cricinfo means he has a shot at notability as a 14 year playing career isn't normally for players who barely played, but cricinfo only has him playing 2 matches over those 14 years.
Reason: There have been 79 UFC on ESPN+ events, but this is the only one with the redirect in this format. It seems to be largely unused as it is a partial title match to the end of the title. I can't find much that refers to this event as just "ESPN+ 44" instead of UFC on ESPN+ 44.
Reason: Nominated at CSD with the rationale "target topic not mentioned at redirect" by 193.115.126.135(
talk·contribs·WHOIS). I removed the CSD tag as it's not a speedy delete criterion, but it is a valid reason for deletion from RfD unless an alternate solution can be found. (Note
Jake Chudnow does not exist – however was deleted via
WP:A7 in 2014 – and this page was created in 2021 as a redirect to Vsauce).
Reason: While a loose horse is technically a riderless horse, it is generally used in horse racing parlance whereas the target article is largely about funeral usage. I don't really know enough about horse racing vs. equestrian terms to see if there's an appropriate glossary to add it to and retarget to there. There is
Glossary of North American horse racing and
Glossary of Australian and New Zealand punting, but from what I've seen the term is mostly used in the UK so neither of those seem appropriate, but I could be incorrect on even that. There's as well
Glossary of equestrian terms, but I am not sure if it would be appropriate to add to there either. I don't really know enough about horse racing in any way to figure out what to do with this.
Reason: Nominating for AfD without a strong opinion as to what should happen. There has been a bit of a dispute as to whether or not the results of the
last AfD should hold including a comment on the talk page from
bbny-wiki-editor. I don't have a strong preference on whether or not this should be kept with the content as is, have the redirect restored, or the page deleted, but figured that AfD would be the page to go at this point after the page history.
Reason: These were originally redirects to Front Burner Brands which was
WP:BLARred with the target of [[The Melting Pot (restaurant)[[ on 10 October 2021 to cleanup copyvio. These then got targeted to
The Melting Pot (restaurant), but are unmentioned in that article.
Reason: This was a stub article for political figure who does not pass
WP:NPOL who was the mayor of the municipality targeted until it was
WP:BLARred 15 years ago, but he is not not currently mentioned at the target. It seems this would be best deleted unless a suitable target can be found.
Reason: I think due to difficult of typing ≠ as opposed to != and the commonality of usage of != as ≠ this should probably be in sync with ≠; however, the issue with just retargetting there right now is that != is not mentioned at
Inequation the target of ≠, and I can't think of a super easy way to put in there. Retargetting without mention could be confusing for people who do not know what != means looking it up and being taken to inequation without explanation.
Reason: This person seems to not meet notability. I was able to find an except from an autobiography of his reprinted in "Salt Lake City: Daughters of Utah Pioneers, 1964"
here, but other than that and an nomination for a place on the NRHP that originally was partially built by Francis George Wall (that place being Glenwood Mill in Glendwood, UT). It did make it on to the NRHP, but there it is called Joseph Wall Grist Mill (after his brother Joseph). While the NRHP listing page for it
here does list Francis as a builder, I don't think these two combined are enough to pass
WP:GNG, but there also might be better sources to find notability for this individual that I cannot find due to not knowing where to look.
Reason: This list had its entire contents blanked other than the intro in 2019 due a complete lack of citations. There has not been anyone added back to list the since then. It seems that at the very least if this were deleted it would possibly be constructed to an appropriate standard under
WP:REDYES or at least would not be an article that at the current moment does not provide the information from the title.
Reason: The page was PROD'd by the original (but not sole) author with the rationale "The page is based on a folktale with barely sources cited. Such pages shouldn't be on Wikipedia and personally I want this article, which was created by myself, to be deleted for good. 3 months ago I already proposed deletion but it was denied due to me not the being the sole contributor, so, here I am proposing again." I removed the PROD as drafts cannot be deleted via such means. I have brought it to MfD as a courtesy to the PROD nominator without an opinion myself as to whether or not this should be deleted.
Reason: These pages were created for the purposes of helping Legobot who links non-ASCII characters such as α or č as ?, which if these redirects were not created, would break many links related to RfCs and such. However, these pages are all no longer linked to from anywhere. They're relatively cheap redirects, but they also are a bit odd and are pretty unlikely to be used unless another RfC is started on any of these pages.
Reason: Procedural AfD nomination as the page was PROD'd but was ineligible for such as there was a previous AfD on this page back in 2008. The PROD rationale was: "Doesn't look notable. The sources given are basically his employer, and people trying to sell books."
Reason: Nominated for PROD by a user with the rationale "The original article had multiple issues with references and notability, also it only lasted for a mere 5 days, therefore the purpose of this redirect is rather questionable". Procedurally converting to RfD, as PROD states that redirects cannot be deleted via PROD.
Reason: This seems like it should target
Washington, DC but it was changed from that target in 2020, and with it having its current target for as long as it has, it seemed logical to bring it to RfD to gain consensus.
Reason: There is no entry anymore for Zeitgeist. From what I remember of Zeitgeist and of the research I have done of it, I can't really find a suitable target. There are some google products that are in certain ways successors to Zeitgeist but none direct successor and none that mention google zeitgeist on their wikipedia article. The closest article I can find that mentions in it a somewhat explanatory way is
Timeline of Google Search but that's not a great target in my view because it doesn't fully explain it.
Reason: Nominated by
Billmckern for PROD with the rationale "Redundant. Federal prosecutors from Vermont are categorized as Category:United States Attorneys for the District of Vermont. State prosecutors from Vermont are categorized as Category:State's attorneys in Vermont" as categories cannot be deleted via PROD, I am procedurally turning it into a CfD.
Reason: Barbie also came out on this date, making this a bit ambiguous if it were to only refer to movies. I'm unsure if this should keep its current redirect as Oppenheimer's ad does seem to use 7.21.23 much more than Barbie's did, but also this doesn't necessarily unambiguous refer to movies either. I'm split between keep, retarget to
Barbenheimer, retarget to
2023#July or delete.
Reason: While this is a company owned by Lewis Hamilton it is not mentioned on his page currently. Unless a mention is added to the page, the redirect should be deleted.
Reason: While this seems to be used to some extent, it never got particularly widespread usage and
WP:RNEUTRAL states if a redirect represents an established term that is used in multiple mainstream reliable sources, it should be kept even if non-neutral, as it will facilitate searches on such terms and this does not seem to be used widely in mainstream reliable sources, per my
WP:BEFORE. Having said that, I could have a poor understanding of
WP:RNEUTRAL, so apologies if this is a poor nom.
Reason: While the result of a merge, all the content about Alonsomania has been removed at Fernando Alonso's article, so this redirect is without context at its target.
Reason: From what I have read, it very much does not seem that ä → ae is a substitution that happens in Finnish in the same way it happens in German, therefore it seems these redirects should be deleted.
Reason: The page
95 does not disambiguate anything that is related to by +95. There is a redirect +95 which targets
Telephone numbers in Myanmar as +95 is the country code there. If this redirect were retargeted there it would be deleted as per
WP:G14, but there does not seem to be a speedy delete criterion that I could find that applies to this where it targets a DAB, but nothing mentioned at the DAB is related to the topic. As well, it seems, if +95 were added to the DAB, this redirect would still be unnecessary as +95 would not be ambiguous at the DAB.
Reason: This redirect was deleted back in 2014 at
this RfD because not all deep water ports are panamax ports, at least as was the determination of that RfD. I could not find much to show that the two are synonymous, but am not 100% an expert in ports either, so I could be wrong and it's possible things have changed over the past 9 years.
Reason: This appears to be a
WP:XY issue where this could target either
Petroleum engineering and
Mining engineering. While
Petroleum engineering mentions Recruitment to the industry has historically been from the disciplines of physics, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering and mining engineering but that's the only mention of mining engineering on that page other than within the name of a society.
Reason: I cannot find an Enligsh Language source that calls the Hauer-King House the Maison Hauer-King and with the house being designed by a Czech architect and its location being England, I do not see a natural affinity to the French language, therefore I am proposing this be deleted under
WP:RLOTE.
Reason: While the top of the DAB page mentions OZA, there are only matches for Oza. It seems that unless there's anything that uses an acronym/initialism on that page that this redirect should be deleted (and the words or OZA removed).
Reason: Not mentioned at the target and it seems the title is Han River Police not Han River, per the sources I found. I could be incorrect on the latter point/it could be irrelevant if it is also referred to as Han River, but if there is no entry added to the page
List of Disney+ original programming this redirect should be deleted.
Reason: I was going to tag this for
WP:G4, but at this point it seems a bit controversial to do so as this page was already deleted via
WP:G4 in July by ComplexRational after a nomination per myself, the deletion log is
here. This page was located at
Chandni FC until 20 August 2023, which would have at certain points made either
Al Madeena Cherpulassery in its previous form from July or
Chandni FC (but unsure which of the two) eligible for deletion due to
WP:A10; however, there are no specific speedy deletion criteria here. There is a
Draft:Al Madeena Cherpulassery which appears to be about the same topic as this article which was dratified right after the page was deleted via G4 in July. With all of that information out of the way, it seems that the issues about this article from the AfD back in 2022 are still an issue. This team does not appear to pass
WP:GNG. It seems that given some of the issues with indeffed/socked participants in the previous AfD pointed out by others since the close of the
previous AfD to regain consensus on this article.
Reason: I end up at this from time to time when trying to type
WP:RFD/T or the like and holding shift while typing / which makes it ?. This redirect seems to be pretty much entirely unused from pageviews and has no links to it from within wikipedia as of nomination. It seems that this could be deleted safely and it would allow those, like myself, who type
WP:RFD? to have the search functionality show no page exists as opposed to being confused as to how I ended up at When to delete a redirect on the RfD page. I acknowledge the irony of this not specifically meeting a criterion laid out in
WP:RFD#DELETE.
Reason: Not mentioned at the target. Most things on wikipedia related to Project Blueprint are related to Australia Supercar Racing. It seems if there is a target that maybe
Supercars Championship#Project Blueprint would be the best retarget? I'm not sure if there is a better target as I don't follow supercars as closely as otherforms of motorsports, or if there is a good non-motorsports related retarget.
Reason: This redirect was created around the same time as
David Larson (amateur poker player) and
David Larson (casual poker player) all three of which target different places. It seems that these are the same people. I also question if "quarter-professional poker player" is a disambiguator that would be likely used. I can't find use of it as a phrase on the internet.
Reason: The target article does not contain a list of exits on I-95. The article of the version prior to
WP:BLARring is unworkable as many of the transcluded pages no longer exist.
Reason: There's only one person in this category and it seems like the cause of death for said person is disputed. It also seems like death from obesity is much like death from old age, where that is not necessarily an actual cause of one's death. Furthermore, it seems like it could be rather arbitrary as to if someone does fit into this category as opposed to a more well-defined category that describes the precise medical cause of death.
Reason: This is a google-made extension for chrome that was at a point mentioned on the chrome page, but has since been removed. I cannot find a mention elsewhere on wikipedia, so it seems best deleted.
Reason: This page was merged into
Firefox back in 2006, but the target currently doesn't contain much in the way of criticisms of firefox, leading to this being a bit of a confusing redirect.
Reason: This was decided at this AfD
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/YouTube Top 100 to become a redirect to Billboard Social 50 which itself became a redirect when that page was moved to
List of Billboard Social 50 number-one artists; however, this page was retargeted to
YouTube 31 minutes after the close of the AfD back in 2013. It seems like there was not consensus for this to be an article as its own back in 2013, and seeing as there is no information on it and the unsuitability of
Billboard Social 50, which includes data from far more platforms than just youtube, that it would be best deleted.
Reason: YouTube is not mentioned at the target article and I can't find a better place to retarget to. Would be open to retargetting if a suitable location is found; otherwise, deletion seems the preferred path.
Reason: I feel a bit odd nominating this as this redirect was the result of this AfD,
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Triton (programming language); however, I find that this redirect is not particularly helpful. While Triton is a programming language developed by OpenAI, it's not mentioned in the article, or anywhere on enwiki from what I could find. It seems like it might best serve the reader to not have this redirect exist if there is no information about it at the target.
Reason: This isn't really mentioned in any great detail anywhere on wikipedia. There is a passing mention on bamboo socks at
Bamboo textile but nothing on it beyond that. There is no mention at the current target.
Reason: The current target is inappropriate as I can find nothing with Virat Kohli's naming being spelled with an umlaut, but it seems like it's because this originally redirect to
Kohli, which was converted to a redirect to Virat Kohli, before being converted back to what it is now. Having said that, there is no one at
Kohli whose name is spelled with an umlaut either, so this would best be deleted.
Reason: From my
WP:BEFORE, this seems to potentially be a legal term used in India but I cannot find an appropriate target for it and the current target seems to not be what the term means.
Reason: I seem to mostly be finding databases but not much in depth detail. It seems his only known time playing cricket is playing in one first-class match and getting dismissed with a score of zero.
Reason: These redirects go to NHL season that due to strike or COVID-19, were only played in the year listed at the redirect; however, for all of these seasons, there also exists a season that was started later in the year specified, making these redirects potentially ambiguous. For example, the
1994–95 NHL season took place only in 1995; however, there was also the
1995–96 NHL season, which did begin in 1995. The same goes for 2013 and 2021. I was taking this to RfD to see if this should stay as is or turn into a DAB page. There are hat notes at the respective articles already.
Reason: This page was
WP:BLARred by
VickKiang with the rationale all of the refs are non-independent and are from PBR. Refs I can found mention this in a few sentences while covering other subjects and does not pass SIGCOV IMO. I do agree with that rationale; however, I am bringing this here because I was not sure if there was a good target for this and think the page might be best as deleted.
Reason: This appears to be a reference from
Extra Credits, but it's not mentioned here, at
Extra Credits or at
q:Extra Credits. Seeing nowhere to target it to, this should be deleted.
Reason: This person is not mentioned at the target and I can find no information at all about this person online in my before. I think this should be deleted.
Reason: This seems to refer to Kylie Jenner's child with Travis Scott, but the name is not mentioned at the target or anywhere on wikipedia. It should certainly not target this current target in its current state, but I am unsure what should be done with it.
Reason: This is seemingly an advertising slogan that was used (albeit scantly) in 1976; however, nothing about it is at the article and it's unlikely that there will be anything that could be integrated about it into the article.
Reason: Similar to
Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2023 November 3#H2ODP, this is a neologism unique to wikipedia. This term generally means in the contetxts of cloud computing "secure and efficient privacy preserving provable data possession scheme"; however, we don't seem to have anything that specifically mentions that topic on wikipedia.
Distributed file system for cloud seems like it could potentially have mention of it added, but it doesn't currently have it mentioned. This should either be deleted, or if data is added to
Distributed file system for cloud, retargetted there.
Reason: This doesn't seem to be a particularly used phrase and this is not discussed at the article other than a 3d model of a 1-over-1 condo, but I cannot find usage of the term much in general in this context (however I possibly searched for the wrong things in
WP:BEFORE). With the lack of common usage and lack of discussion in the article, this would probably be best deleted.
Reason: Missing space per
WP:RDAB. This is the result of a page move, but the page was at the target for a total of 6 minutes back in 2011. It hasn't received any pageviews in the last 90 days, so it seems unused enough for deletion.
Reason: Since this was
WP:BLARred for not having any blue links on the DAB page, it seems that reverting back to its previous state is not an option, but if there are no valid targets with this name then this redirect should be deleted as it is not mentioned at the current target.
Reason: This page doesn't really discuss much about the Bank of America 500/Banking 500 Only from Bank of America races in general, with only slight mentions of it, but no listing of winners. It has no information about the broadcasters of the race before NBC, where many of the races before NBC were broadcast on TBS and some on ABC. It seems that there is nowhere to really put that information in the article. The redirect itself is the result of a
WP:BLAR by the author of the article in response to it being
WP:PROD'd with the content being merged into
Bank of Ameica Roval 400 at
this revision. All of that info has since been removed from the article, so I am unsure what to do with this redirect.
Reason: For fans of the show, this redirect's connection is obvious as Sheinhardt is mentioned throughout the show; however, a fan of the show would also know to search for 30 Rock if looking for information on the show. For others though, this redirect targetting 30 Rock without mention could confuse people who are looking for information on Sheinhardt only to see that it redirects to 30 Rock without an explanation as to the connection between the two. It seems that at
List of 30 Rock characters#C. C. there is an explanation of Sheinhardt, but it's an odd target and if the page is restructured, which seems to happen often on list of character pages, then it could be back to not being helpful. I think it might be best that this redirect is deleted.
Reason: This page had been converted to a redirect to
Yeomanry Cavalry until today, when I reverted it back to bring it to AfD. At its previous state, it was eligible for
WP:G14; however, with the history of the page that I brough back in its current state, I was wondering what consensus would be on what to do with this. Redirecting to
Yeomanry Cavalry seems to be an issue as that page is not a disambiguation page or serving a similar function.
