Titkan ( Persian: تيتكان) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Zalaqi District [b] of Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 census, its population was 255 in 45 households, when it was a village in Zalaqi-ye Sharqi Rural District. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 431 people in 88 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 378 people in 95 households. [2]
After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District [4] and the village was elevated to the status of a city. [7]
