Farsesh ( Persian: فرسش) [a] is a village in, and the capital of, Farsesh Rural District of Borborud-e Sharqi District, Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. [4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 1,445 in 285 households, when it was in the Central District. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 916 people in 240 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 823 people in 226 households, by which time the rural district had separated from the district in the establishment of Borborud-e Sharqi District. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
