Kish Olya ( Persian: کيش عليا) [a] is a village in, and the former capital of, Zalaqi-ye Sharqi Rural District of Zalaqi District (formerly Besharat District), Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. It is also the former capital of the district. [4] The capital of the district has been transferred to Titkan, [5] and the capital of the rural district has been transferred to Chaleh Pareh. [6]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 111 in 19 households. [7] The following census in 2011 counted 946 people in 13 households. [8] The population was below the reporting threshold at the time of the 2016 census. [2]
After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District. [5]
