Parchel ( Persian: پرچل) [3] is a village in, and the capital of, Zalaqi-ye Gharbi Rural District of Zalaqi District, [a] Aligudarz County, Lorestan province, Iran. [5]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 554 in 82 households. [6] The following census in 2011 counted 459 people in 92 households. [7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 319 people in 73 households. It was the most populous village in its rural district. [2]
After the census, the name of the district was changed to Zalaqi District. [4]
