Momenabad ( Persian: مؤمن‌آباد) [a] is a city in, and the capital of, Japelaq District of Azna County, Lorestan province, Iran. [3] It also serves as the administrative center for Japelaq-e Sharqi Rural District. [4]

At the 2006 census, its population was 1,230 in 326 households. [5] The following census in 2011 counted 1,561 people in 466 households. [6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,821 people in 550 households. [2]
