Krutikhinsky District ( Russian: Крути́хинский райо́н) is an administrative [1] and municipal [4] district ( raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the north of the krai. The area of the district is 2,051 square kilometers (792 sq mi). [2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krutikha. [1] Population: 11,301 ( 2010 Russian census); [3] 13,944 ( 2002 Census); [6] 13,738 ( 1989 Soviet census). [7] The population of Krutikha accounts for 33.7% of the district's total population. [3]
