The term of office for those elected in 2024 will begin when the House of Representatives convenes in January 2025. Pennsylvania State Representatives are elected for two-year terms, with all 203 seats up for election every two years. Democrat John Galloway was elected magisterial district judge unopposed, succeeding District Judge Jan Vislosky upon her retirement. [5] House Speaker Joanna McClinton scheduled a special election for February 13, 2024.
