The 2024 San Diego mayoral election will be held on November 5, 2024, to elect the
mayor of
San Diego ,
California . Incumbent
Todd Gloria was first elected in
2020 with 56% of the vote and is eligible for re-election to a second term. Municipal elections in California are officially
nonpartisan , with a
blanket primary scheduled to be held on March 5, 2024.
