This article could need some improvement in content and style, especially the section "Domestic policy". Also, on the Talk-page it is suggested, that the name of the article should be "Borisov" and not "Borissov" as it currently is. -- KaiKemmann ( talk) 22:09, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Is there some compelling reason why we are using the blank (though it does show administrative boundaries) map of Bulgaria in our Location template, rather than this nice Relief Map of Bulgaria that the Bg page uses? Martha ( talk) 17:48, 31 October 2013 (UTC)
While i've found that several articles can be read on many different languages, some others are not widely spread. I propose to translate the articles to those languages with the largest number of speakers. I could manage to translate and to add lacking information to articles in Spanish (besides the obvious English), i could also do it on Italian, but, while it is a popular language all around, i think it could be better to do it on a second stage of this project. I just need someone to help me with the basics of making a wikipage and i could have all the information translated to post it.

I came across the story of Solomon Passy's Trabant, which would be a real good item for the Did you know section on the main page. However, to qualify it needs to be an article that has been expanded by at least a 1000 words recently, which I am not able to do. Who can? Preslav 13:00, 7 July 2006 (UTC)
Another suggestion — this coin. -- Cameltrader 12:53, 6 August 2006 (UTC)
I think it would be nice to have a section on this page dedicated to articles lacking images. It's a cliche that a picture is worth a 1000 words, but I think people not familiar with Bulgaria who see our beautiful country would be really pleasantly surpirsed. Many articles lack images, if we start identifying them, maybe we would be able to find images hidden in the Commons or other language versions, or someone might take pictures of the subject matter faster than otherwise. Thanks, -- Vanka5 07:51, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
As a way of putting Bulgaria on the map, I suggest adding it to every list from where it is missing, but other European/Balkan/etc. countries are present. E.g. search Google for "site:wikipedia.org "list of" Greece -Bulgaria -intitle:Greece -intitle:Greek" to find suitable pages. Philipstoev 12:41, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
We now have our very own Wikipedia:WikiProject Bulgaria/Assessment. Please join in rating every single Bulgaria-related articles according to the quality and importance scale — you can find instructions on the page above. Thanks! Todor → Bozhinov 19:17, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Hallo there, Not sure this is the right place but anyway: I would like to ask for some help with regard to the Bulgarian dialects, for which there is practically nothing written until now. I have started with Serres-Nevrokop dialect and Blagoevgrad-Petrich dialect (or actually completely re-written the previous Macedonian articles) and established a template (see below). I would appreciate any contribution as this area lags severely behind. VMORO 01:28, 16 July 2008 (UTC)

An important goal of this project is to produce as much featured content that is directly related to Bulgaria as possible, with featured articles being a top priority.
This is a list of recognized content, updated weekly by JL-Bot ( talk · contribs) (typically on Saturdays). There is no need to edit the list yourself. If an article is missing from the list, make sure it is tagged (e.g. {{ WikiProject Bulgaria}}) or categorized correctly and wait for the next update. See WP:RECOG for configuration options. |
Material from the following publications and newswires often deals with the subject here. This material can be in either citation, abstract, or full-text format, depending on the source. If anyone wishes to receive material from these sources, please send me an e-mail indicating either the specific subject of interest, or the dates and names of the relevant sources, and I will e-mail in response the material I recover.
