Its strange to quote a source who seems bent on making a claim that seems highly dubious. Its quite obvious to most people that japan isn't a multiethnic society. Sure there are some foreigners in tokyo and the big cities but the rest of japan is mostly japanese. The definition of multiethnic as stated by cambridge dictionary is a society with many races. If more than 99.5% of the inhabitants are of the asian race how is that multiethnic? Thats not even 1 person out of 100. Thats half a person out of a hundred. To say that japan does have other nationalities but of the same race is one thing but to claim it as a multiethnic society is truly disingenuous! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Usatex ( talk • contribs) 03:25, 23 June 2012 (UTC)

I've blocked 173.58.54.129 for now, but you asked for other solutions as well. Right now, if he's only showing up every once in a while, it's really not a problem just to block the IP. If it becomes seriously persistent, we can examine the range and block the entire thing if there is no impact to legitimate users (i.e. no other traffic in that range). If he hops outside of that range we can explore creating a special edit filter, but that may be rough since there is a very limited pattern over a large number of articles (the same reason protection is unlikely to help).
One thing that does help 'a lot is to create a small page with details and links back to the other IPs used and the pattern. This helps when posting to AIV; I had to spend some time looking at the history of the articles to spot other 173.58's and determine the history of blocks, etc. I would have blocked much faster if that history was briefly laid out in a subpage somewhere.

Hi. I'm glad you enlightened me but at present the article says nothing about her being an international player or even playing for a notable team - it just says she plays for Toyota Motor Corporation.
If I restore the article, will you do the necessary work to bring it up to standard? Deb ( talk) 06:34, 24 August 2013 (UTC)
If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.
You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.
A tag has been placed on Bananaman (comedy duo) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Caffeyw ( talk) 06:58, 30 August 2013 (UTC)
Hello Michitaro and excuse me if I bother you. I'm a user of it.wikipedia I need to spaek with a Japanese user that can't speak neither italian nor english, so it is possibile for you to translate me something in Japanese?
This is what I have to say: Hello JapanFootball (this is his username) thank you for your contributions. You have to know that in Wikipedia is necessary to supply the sources of the information on the page you have created: in which web site or book or something else have you seen what you have inserted on Wikipedia? Remeber that it doesn't matter if the source is write in Italian, English, Japanese or any other language, the important is that the source is inserted in page! I hope that you have finally understood. Bye.
When you have translated all (if for you is possible to do that) write me
here. Thank you very much. --

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Takashi Ukaji, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Ainu ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Thanks for adding the books. Great to have a Japanese film scholar on board! I've been admiring the quality of Japanese cinema in recent weeks seeing some of the entries in my 1001 movies book. I've seen most of Kurosawa's of course but ones like Yukinojo Henge, the last one I saw are also very impressive!♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:48, 11 February 2014 (UTC)
Do you know if there were any large (capacity of 1,000 or more) concert venues in Kōriyama, Fukushima that existed in 1978? Your help would be appreciated. Evangp ( talk) 05:18, 12 February 2014 (UTC)
