Hey there. It seems that the article was deleted in an AFD discussion last year due to a lack of significant roles and a lack of coverage in reliable sources. However, since then, she has been cast as the character Rumia (a main character) in the anime Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor. With this, I now assume that she passes WP:ENTERTAINER. Would it be advisable for you to restore the article, or should I take it to Deletion Review first? Narutolovehinata5 t c csd new 02:49, 23 April 2017 (UTC)
People are likely to be notable if they meet any of the following standards. Failure to meet these criteria is not conclusive proof that a subject should not be included; conversely, meeting one or more does not guarantee that a subject should be included.

User talk:Northamerica1000/Archive 71#Category:North_Korean_cuisine
For me, it seems natural that most of the traditional (pre-Korean war) Korean dishes are common in both North and South Korea. And most dishes in Category:Korean cuisine are traditional dishes, with some exceptions, such as: Modern South Korean inventions, such as spicy tteok-bokki (first made in the 50s in SK); Regional dishes, such as sungeo-guk ( Pyongyang region in NK) and jaecheop-guk ( Yeongnam and Honam regions in SK). Other dishes in the Korean cuisine category, in my opinion, is better without NK/SK cuisine categories because tagging all of them with both NK/SK cuisine categories will be a hassle. I'd like to hear your thoughts. -- Brett ( talk) 03:53, 20 May 2017 (UTC)

On 3 May 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Shooter's sandwich, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the shooter's sandwich became a minor internet meme after an article in The Guardian declared it to be the best sandwich in the world? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Shooter's sandwich. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Shooter's sandwich), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Is there anything at Sand Glass that you think is worth salvaging? The photos are terrible and there are no sources, so I'm not quite sure what a merge would look like. If there's something you think has merit, let me know and maybe we can draft a sentence or two for Sand. Cheers! — jameslucas ▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ 00:38, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, I just saw your new dyk nom. In Australia, the very well-known brand is Peck's Anchovette. This link has a little history - seems the brand is now owned by General Mills. Thanks for the article. JennyOz ( talk) 09:21, 7 May 2017 (UTC)

A few days ago I started
Category:Food waste. In looking at the concept, I was not sure that it merited a category. After searching around I found a few articles which were related, and so I thought to make the category.
I am pleased today to see that you have added more items to the category and that it is quite filled out now. You found articles which obviously belong but which I could not find and did not think to seek out. What you did is very encouraging. Thanks for that. Blue Rasberry (talk) 13:37, 8 May 2017 (UTC) |
Northamerica1000, we have a bot that takes care of the moving of newly approved nominations to the Approved page, so there's no need to manually move the transcluded templates. It runs every couple of hours. Thanks. BlueMoonset ( talk) 00:47, 16 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, I just came across this stubby food article and thought you'd like to have a go at it. Best, Yoninah ( talk) 22:50, 15 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, thanks for the heads up! I had heard about the revival but didn't know exactly when it was going to be airing. It will be hard to duplicate the bizarre brilliance of the original show, but at least the choice of comedy "legend" Tommy Maitland as host is a sign that they're willing to try something a little different. Cheers! gongshow talk 15:04, 17 May 2017 (UTC)
Hi, Northamerica1000! I removed Category:North Korean cuisine from ramyeon and tteok-bokki as tteok-bokki doesn't exist in North Korea and instant noodles in North Korea aren't called "ramyeon". I'd also appreciate if you could explain why the category was added to miyeok-guk, japchae, and many other dishes that exist in both Koreas. 🍲 -- Brett ( talk) 03:56, 18 May 2017 (UTC)

I noticed you deleted a photo on the Knafeh article because "it is not a picture of the food." Actually, if you look closer, you will see that it is: It shows the "longest knafeh in the world" prepared in Nablus, which is mentioned in the text. Maybe the caption should be more detailed to reflect that.-- Geewhiz ( talk) 09:05, 24 May 2017 (UTC)
