Hi Friend! I wanted to create a Template for "Google Hangouts" [1], but by mistake, i created a Category page [2] . Now i want to blank/delete the Category page and move its contents to the Template Page. Can you help me do this or provide me with any links for such a transfer procedure - a set of instructions that me let me do so? Currently, i can create the Template page directly, but i want to see instead if moving this category page to the desired template page is allowed/possible.
Also, i want this page deleted asap --> Template:Latest stable release/Google Spreadsheets. This author/creator of the page too has agreed. But there has been no progress regarding it. the article have been tagged appropriately for Deletion/Redirect. But this process seems too slow to me. Maybe i can myself perform the actions but i dont know how to do so. Or i do not the privileges. Please guide me. Thanks! Compfreak7 ( talk) 07:02, 31 May 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Aam Aadmi Party logo.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the " my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot ( talk) 08:32, 4 June 2013 (UTC)

Hello, I'm EBY3221. Your recent edit to the page Singam II appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Misrepresenting cites and removing cited material is a form of tendentious editing - it is for this behavior the page is partially protected. Hi, let me explain you how the qualification process is so you can see why India is not yet qualified. This FIH link explains it perfectly.
If Korea wins the continental championship, as they already qualified through the World League Semifinal, that quota will be given to the next placed team in the World League Semifinal final ranking that has not yet qualified. See this chart.
Even though India is higher in the World Rankings than Malaysia, they enden 6th in their Semifinal, when Malaysia finished 5th. Therefore they qualify before India. The only way the World Ranking is taken as a tie braker is when the quota has to be given to one of two teams that ended equally ranked in their respective Semifinal. Example: When Germany won European championship, as they had already qualified, that quota had to be awarded to one of the teams that had finished 5th in the Semifinals. As Spain was higher ranked, they qualified.
I hope this explanation was clear enough. Cheers. -- M&m89 ( talk) 03:10, 31 August 2013 (UTC)

2013 was one hell of a year. While it gave us some great movies ( The Lunchbox, Kai Po Che!, Lootera, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag etc.) and some record-breaking blockbusters ( Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express, Dhoom 3), it also gave us some really sad moments (the deaths of Pran, Paul Walker, Nelson Mandela, Farooque Sheikh, re-crimilisation of homosexuality, typhoons and cycolones like Phailin and Haiyan). Nevertheless, I ain't gonna miss 2013, so have a happy 2014 ahead! Yours truly, -- Jionpedia ✉ 19:16, 31 December 2013 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Coffee Ani Barach Kahi promotional poster.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. The article 2011 Gujarat earthquake has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.

The Wikimedia Foundation is currently running a consultation on the value and planning process of Wikimania, and is open until 18 January 2016. The goals are to (1) build a shared understanding of the value of Wikimania to help guide conference planning and evaluation, and (2) gather broad community input on what new form(s) Wikimania could take (starting in 2018).
After reviewing the consultation, we'd like to hear your feedback on on this survey.
In addition, feel free to share any personal experiences you have had at at a Wikimedia movement conference, including Wikimania. We plan to compile and share back outcomes from this consultation in February.
With thanks,

On 1 February 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Hancock Bridge, Mumbai, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Hancock Bridge in Mumbai, built in 1879 and rebuilt in 1923, was demolished in 2016 to be rebuilt again? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Hancock Bridge, Mumbai. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, daily totals), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page. |

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Hi,
I got your details through Wikipedia's list of active Asian editors, and since you are online, I am reaching out to you as a new Wikipedia member (and not user). I made an account to edit a particular page, but I realised that only auto confirmed users can change the title of the page, using the 'Move' tab. Since I do not have the privilege to do that, I was hoping you would.
My issue is with a particular page titled 'Gorakshanath' which should actually be named, 'Gorakhnath'. Understandably, this is a sinister political shenanigan that is an attempt to impose the right-wing ideology of go-raksha (cow protection) down our throats. Please change the name at the earliest, if you can. It is a serious issue. This is how it starts!
Thanks Karthik.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited ICICI Prudential, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Stock Exchange. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Greetings,
Thank you very much for participating in the Months of African Cinema global contest/edit-a-thon, and thank you for your contributions so far.
It is already the middle of the contest and a lot have been achieved already! We have been able to get over 1,500 articles created in over fifteen (15) languages! This would not have been possible without your support and we want to thank you. If you have not yet listed your name as a participant in the contest page please do so.
Please make sure to list the articles you have created or improved in the article achievements' section of the contest page, so that they can be easily tracked. To be able to claim prizes, please also ensure to list your articles on the users by articles page. We would be awarding prizes to different categories of winners:
We are very excited about what has been achieved so far, but your contributions are still needed to further exceed all expectations! Let’s create more articles before the end of this contest, which is this November!!!

Worcestershire - one of England's oldest and still existing (with some minor boundary changes) ceremonial and political shires, famous for its nearly 1000 year old cathedral, the River Severn, the
AONB of the
Malvern Hills, some of the oldest schools in the country, England's fastest growing university, apples, pears, cider and cricket, and of course its world famous
sauce. The Wikiproject is now in need of some attention. Created 12 years ago, this project amassed a huge resource for editors working on all kinds of articles and categories related in some way or another to the county.
Kudpung is more or less retired from Wikipedia getting on for 2 years ago and it would be good if a group of editors could get it up to date and continue to maintain it.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 2013 Patna bombings, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Patna railway station ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Mullum Malarum has gone through a major copyedit, and is currently a GA nominee. Bcos the reviewer may mostly likely be a non-Indian, he may not be able to understand the reliability of several Indian sources. But I think U can, so I request u to unofficially review the article and please tell me what more I can do to make it more GA worthy. Kailash29792 ( talk) 09:01, 7 January 2014 (UTC)
hi Karthik, I was wondering if you know of any way how we could obtain pictures for all these houses in Category:Royal residences in Delhi? Do you know anyone who could contribute or where this could be requested? I know that some are probably easier than others (such as Jaipur House), but there has to be some way. Interior images would be nice too, as difficult as that might be. Thank you. Gryffindor ( talk) 17:24, 9 January 2014 (UTC)

I see you had created Wikipedia:List of Monuments in Nepal. Is there some sourcing that could be added to the lists? If so, we could move them to article space. Hello Karthikndr, I understand where you are coming from here in terms of the name, however, since all official sources refer to them as "FC" we have to go with "FC" unless that changes. As for other clubs, it depends. In England they use "F.C." and thus a lot of Europe and even the I-League but some clubs in say, MLS, use "FC" like Seattle Sounders FC.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Indian Premier League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Vivo. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi,
I got your details through Wikipedia's list of active Asian editors, and since you are online, I am reaching out to you as a new Wikipedia member (and not user).
