Hello, Jengod. Thank you for your work on John Vincent Cain. User:Onel5969, while examining this page as a part of our page curation process, had the following comments:
I don't think you need to go through review for your new articles. Loved this one about someone I never would have known about. I'd say keep up the good work, but you've been doing it for so long, do not want to appear condescending. Thanks for the article.

Hi Jengod, I just wanted to let you know that I have added the autopatrolled user right to your account. This means that pages you create will automatically be marked as 'reviewed', and no longer appear in the new pages feed. Autopatrolled is assigned to prolific creators of articles, where those articles do not require further review, and may have been requested on your behalf by someone else. It doesn't affect how you edit; it is used only to manage the workload of new page patrollers.
Since the articles you create will no longer be systematically reviewed by other editors, it is important that you maintain the high standard you have achieved so far in all your future creations. Please also try to remember to add relevant WikiProject templates, stub tags, categories, and incoming links to them, if you aren't already in the habit; user scripts such as Rater and StubSorter can help with this. As you have already shown that you have a strong grasp of Wikipedia's core content policies, you might also consider volunteering to become a new page patroller yourself, helping to uphold the project's standards and encourage other good faith article writers.
Feel free to leave me a message if you have any questions. Happy editing! —Femke 🐦 ( talk) 20:44, 18 January 2023 (UTC)
Thank you very much for creating the Founding Fathers of the United States page, an inspiration as it came in pretty late (2004) after Wikipedia's beginning. And especially good to have you back editing the page. I really like the John Trumbull addition as a patriot, something, like the page topic itself, that everybody else missed. Hello, Jengod,
If you are going to participate in AFD deletion discussions, please take them seriously, evaluate the article and its sources and provide a policy-based reason for why you think the article should be deleted, redirected, merged or kept. One word answers, like you gave at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/SLOOP Project (2nd nomination), are not a useful contribution to a conversation on what should happen with an article, it's just a "vote, and these are just dismissed by a discussion closer. Offer a thoughtful opinion that demonstrates your knowledge of how articles should be constructed. If you have time, look for additional sources that could support claims in an article under discussion. That would make a valuable contribution to any deletion discussion. If you find this too demanding of your time, then perhaps this is not an area of the project that is worth spending your time on and you could find other areas to make contributions to. Thank you. Hello. I have noticed that you
often edit without using an
edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in
your preferences. Thanks!

Hello @ Jengodjust a real quick thank you for enacting the first edits on my first published Wikipedia article Albert Wyndham Payne. Yay!
I particularly went up another floor in the Wikipedia IQ lift, from ground to 1, when I saw the refinement you had made to the V&A source and re-targeted the ref to the collections page. It gave me so much more reliable information to add to article too. (You know this.) Still, thanks once again.
I was so happy on the day got the green panel of acceptance, I wrote a blog called I, Wikipedian which, with a title change to a more inclusive pronoun, will get published in February on Wyndham’s birthday :-)
I feel like my transmogrification from Wikipedia reader to editor has past a tipping point.
