Hi there, Feel-flourish, and welcome to Women in Red. As you are undertaking research in connection with our project, you might find it useful to look through our Ten Simple Rules and our Primer for creating women's biographies. A more extensive list of essays and guidelines is included under "Editing" in the WiR template which you will find at the foot of the main Women in Red page. Please let me know if you run into any difficulties or need assistance. Happy editing and good luck with your study.-- Ipigott ( talk) 09:32, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Have you found the Wiki community welcoming? Were the Wiki rules and way of doing things explained? How do you understand "No original opinion'? What does "Be Bold' mean? You do not need to answer each question but I just wonder how accepting was the Wiki folks help you. Are you alone or active with the 'Women in Red' group? User:Ipigott would be helpful. I'm just curious as to how you have found the encyclopedia? Eschoryii ( talk) 19:47, 12 July 2020 (UTC)

On 29 September 2020, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Freedom University, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that at civil disobedience events, undocumented students from Freedom U wear painted monarch butterfly wings symbolizing migration's naturalness and their immigrant experience? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Freedom University. You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, Freedom University), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Hi, Feel-flourish. I'm sorry I never got back to you when you left a message on my talk page way back in 2020. I took a long wikibreak for part of the year due to personal issues I was struggling with and I didn't notice your message until I was browsing my old talk page archives today. I'm assuming that you've already completed your research project. From the short snippet you shared with me on what you were researching, it sounded interesting. Have you published anything about it? I'd be interested in reading it if you have. Clovermoss (talk) 04:18, 18 September 2021 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary |
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary!
