I see that you have added two or three references. I am quite sure this person is notable. The prod template gives a week for editors to reference the article properly. Anyone may remove it if they feel that sufficient references have been added. But remember, especially when it comes to a living person, every assertion in the article must be cited. Thank you for helping improve Wikipedia!
Martijn Hoekstra ( talk) 18:39, 4 January 2013 (UTC)Hi Mydreamsparrow,
I was actually going to come and a drop you a note about the Kumar Anish article.
The first concern is Wikipedia:Notability (people). I'm struggling to see that this chap is much beyond a yoga practitioner who happened to write a book in 2005, and came up with the GOPI method (or perhaps this is just a modification of his own teacher's method?). I'm not actually sure which section of biography a yoga practitioner fits into. If we look at Wikipedia:Notability (sports) there's no section on yoga. Due to his book, etc you could maybe argue Wikipedia:Notability (academics) or Creative professional, but not sure either is really correct, and one apparently not overly significant book probably doesn't quite qualify him. Just using the general notability guidelines he doesn't quite seem to make it. Perhaps if the GOPI method was well known (e.g., there is no article on it and Google doesn't indicate much about it as a prominent specialist yoga technique from what I can find), or if he was a prominent author (a single book ranking outside the top 10 million on Amazon probably doesn't quite cut it) it would be different. If you take if from another perspective, I'm sure you could understand that Wikipedia doesn't want articles on every local personal trainer in Australia for example, so these people do genuinely need to be notable.
The other concern is Wikipedia:Verifiability and WP:Reliability. While there was nothing in the article that appeared to be offensive, similarly there was not a lot that seemed to be verifiable. There is particular sensitivity about Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons, both for ethical and legal reasons, and in essence claims should be able to verified by reference to reliable secondary sources. Unfortunately very little of that article did so, with the references you provided not verifying the claims made. Many were simply links to the website of the organisations mentioned. Not only was Anish not mentioned on the linked pages, when I did advanced searches of the site he was not even mentioned anywhere on the sites. These cannot be used as references as they do not verify the claims made in the article. To be honest I can't help but think you know him personally and have written it partly through what you simply know or what he has told you (for a while I thought it may have actually been a Wikipedia:Autobiography). Nonetheless, if you do know him closely this then borders on WP:Advertising which is frowned upon, and brings up the issue of Wikipedia:Conflict of interest.
Another page I'd suggest you read is Wikipedia:Citing sources. This contains a thorough discussion of how to cite sources (just providing URLs to the homepage, or even a subpage, of a website as you have tended to be doing is not recommended). There are even some automated tools that help you to create good citations that I highly recommend (I use one myself).
I realise that you are quite new to Wikipedia (perhaps introduced by Muhammad?) and a glance through your talkpage indicates problems with a number of your articles, some of which have already been deleted. Just as general advice could I perhaps suggest that you perhaps channel the initial enthusiasm you are showing for creating new pages and information into creating fewer but better articles, and improving existing articles. Indeed working through and improving an existing article can really help you to see what makes a good and bad article.
Also you may or may not be aware of the Wikipedia:Did you know process. This gets new articles onto the mainpage and can attract a lot of eyes to them and gives you a bit of acknowledgement for your work. However the other benefit to you would be that it gives some independent review to your articles providing you with a bit of feedback if things are lacking, or a pat on the back if they're really good. This would also let you look through other new articles to see what they contain and check out some of the feedback being given about them, which is far less personal than people reviewing your work.
Again I would like to welcome you to Wikipedia and congratulate you for your enthusiasm for adding content. I note you have also added some lovely photographs! I know I have sprouted an awful lot of information above and linked to lots of advice pages, but there's lots to navigate here! Many new users find the Wikipedia:Adopt-a-user program very helpful for this reason, and some users have very well structured processes in place to help new users. While I'm not part of that process, if you want further advice or clarification about anything I've said, etc, feel free to ask. I notice that some more refs have been added to this chap's article, so I'll go and check them out at some stage and see how they shape up, but in the meantime feel free to strengthen them or anything else in the article with anything I've suggested above.
Cheers, -- jjron ( talk) 11:12, 16 January 2013 (UTC).

The fact was ... that in 2013 Kerala High Court judge Manjula Chellur (pictured) refused the plea of the Leader of the Opposition for an early hearing in another investigation of the "Ice Cream Parlour sabotage case"? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Manjula Chellur. A tag has been placed on
Sana Althaf requesting that it be
speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a
repost of material that was previously deleted following a
deletion process. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}

the page's discussion directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Hello Mydreamsparrow.
I have noticed that you often edit without an
edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! (summary usage

Hi Mydreamsparrow. Your account has been added to the "New page reviewers
" user group. Minor user rights can now be accorded on a time limited or probationary period, so do check back at
WP:PERM/NPR in case this concerns your application. This user group allows you to review new pages through the Curation system and mark them as
patrolled, tag them for maintenance issues, or nominate them for deletion. The list of articles awaiting review is located at the
New Pages Feed. New page reviewing is vital to maintaining the integrity of the encylopedia. If you have not already done so, you must read the tutorial at
New Pages Review, the linked guides and essays, and fully understand the
deletion policy. If you need any help or want to discuss the process, you are welcome to use the
new page reviewer talk page. In addition, please remember:
The reviewer right does not change your status or how you can edit articles. If you no longer want this user right, you also may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. In cases of abuse or persistent inaccuracy of reviewing, or long-term inactivity, the right may be withdrawn at administrator discretion. Swarm {talk} 00:13, 28 December 2018 (UTC)

Hello Mydreamsparrow,
More new features are being added to the feed, including the important red alert for previously deleted pages. This will only work if it is selected in your filters. Best is to 'select all'. Do take a moment to check out all the new features if you have not already done so. If anything is not working as it should, please let us know at NPR. There is now also a live queue of AfC submissions in the New Pages Feed. Feel free to review AfCs, but bear in mind that NPP is an official process and policy and is more important.
Articles are still not always being checked thoroughly enough. If you are not sure what to do, leave the article for a more experienced reviewer. Please be on the alert for any incongruities in patrolling and help your colleagues where possible; report patrollers and autopatrolled article creators who are ostensibly undeclared paid editors. The displayed ORES alerts offer a greater 'at-a-glance' overview, but the new challenges in detecting unwanted new content and sub-standard reviewing do not necessarily make patrolling any easier, nevertheless the work may have a renewed interest factor of a different kind. A vibrant community of reviewers is always ready to help at NPR.
The backlog is still far too high at between 7,000 and 8,000. Of around 700 user rights holders, 80% of the reviewing is being done by just TWO users. In the light of more and more subtle advertising and undeclared paid editing, New Page Reviewing is becoming more critical than ever.
NPR is triage, it is not a clean up clinic. This move feature is not limited to bios so you may have to slightly re-edit the text in the template before you save the move. Anything that is not fit for mainspace but which might have some promise can be draftified - particularly very poor English and machine and other low quality translations.
Remember to use the message feature if you are just tagging an article for maintenance rather than deletion. Otherwise articles are likely to remain perma-tagged. Many creators are SPA and have no intention of returning to Wikipedia. Use the feature too for leaving a friendly note note for the author of a first article you found well made or interesting. Many have told us they find such comments particularly welcoming and encouraging.
Admins are now taking advantage of the new time-limited user rights feature. If you have recently been accorded NPR, do check your user rights to see if this affects you. Depending on your user account preferences, you may receive automated notifications of your rights changes. Requests for permissions are not mini-RfAs. Helpful comments are welcome if absolutely necessary, but the bot does a lot of the work and the final decision is reserved for admins who do thorough research anyway.
School and academic holidays will begin soon in various places around the Western world. Be on the lookout for the usual increase in hoax, attack, and other junk pages.
Our next newsletter might be announcing details of a possible election for co-ordinators of NPR. If you think you have what it takes to micro manage NPR, take a look at New Page Review Coordinators - it's a job that requires a lot of time and dedication.

Hi there, re:
these changes, we don't use flags in infoboxes per
WP:INFOBOXFLAG, and there's no need to add someone's citizenship when it can be inferred by their nationality. Only in cases where their nationality might differ from their citizenship might that be appropriate. The |citizenship=
parameter is rarely used. See
Template:Infobox person instructions. Note also that the parent and relative parameters are for notable people, i.e. people who already have Wikipedia articles. So his father Sivan and his brother Sanjeev should not be included unless they are independently notable. Obviously their names could exist elsewhere in the article. Lastly, we do not use Indic script in either the Infobox or the lead, per
WP:NOINDICSCRIPT. Regards,

Hello Mydreamsparrow,
This newsletter comes a little earlier than usual because the backlog is rising again and the holidays are coming very soon.
There are now 804 holders of the New Page Reviewer flag! Most of you requested the user right to be able to do something about the huge backlog but it's still roughly less than 10% doing 90% of the work. Now it's time for action.
Exactly one year ago there were 'only' 3,650 unreviewed articles, now we will soon be approaching 7,000 despite the growing number of requests for the NPR user right. If each reviewer soon does only 2 reviews a day over five days, the backlog will be down to zero and the daily input can then be processed by every reviewer doing only 1 review every 2 days - that's only a few minutes work on the bus on the way to the office or to class! Let's get this over and done with in time to relax for the holidays.
Want to join? Consider adding the
NPP Pledge userbox.
Our next newsletter will announce the winners of some
really cool awards.
Admin Barkeep49 has been officially invested as NPP/NPR coordinator by a unanimous consensus of the community. This is a complex role and he will need all the help he can get from other experienced reviewers.
Paid editing is still causing headaches for even our most experienced reviewers: This official Wikipedia article will be an eye-opener to anyone who joined Wikipedia or obtained the NPR right since 2015. See The Hallmarks to know exactly what to look for and take time to examine all the sources.
Would you like feedback on your reviews? Are you an experienced reviewer who can give feedback to other reviewers? If so there are two new feedback pilot programs. New Reviewer mentorship will match newer reviewers with an experienced reviewer with a new reviewer. The other program will be an occasional peer review cohort for moderate or experienced reviewers to give feedback to each other. The first cohort will launch November 13.
The annual ArbCom election will be coming up soon. All eligible users will be invited to vote. While not directly concerned with NPR, Arbcom cases often lead back to notability and deletion issues and/or actions by holders of advanced user rights.
There is to be no wish list for WMF encyclopedias this year. We thank Community Tech for their hard work addressing our long list of requirements which somewhat overwhelmed them last year, and we look forward to a successful completion.

Having gotten the reviewer PERM in August 2018, they have been a regular reviewer of articles and redirects, been an active participant in the NPP community, and has been the driving force for the emerging NPP Source Guide that will help reviewers better evaluate sourcing and notability in many countries for which it has historically been difficult.
Special commendation again goes to Onel5969 who ends the year as one of our most prolific reviewers for the second consecutive year. Thanks also to Boleyn and JTtheOG who have been in the top 5 for the last two years as well.
Several newer editors have done a lot of work with CAPTAIN MEDUSA and DannyS712 (who has also written bots which have patrolled thousands of redirects) being new reviewers since this time last year.
Thanks to them and to everyone reading this who has participated in New Page Patrol this year.

A recent Request for Comment on creating a new redirect autopatrol pseduo-permission was closed early. New Page Reviewers are now able to nominate editors who have an established track record creating uncontroversial redirects. At the individual discretion of any administrator or after 24 hours and a consensus of at least 3 New Page Reviewers an editor may be added to a list of users whose redirects will be patrolled automatically by DannyS712 bot III.
Set to launch early in the new year is our first New Page Patrol Source Guide discussion. These discussions are designed to solicit input on sources in places and topic areas that might otherwise be harder for reviewers to evaluate. The hope is that this will allow us to improve the accuracy of our patrols for articles using these sources (and/or give us places to perform a WP:BEFORE prior to nominating for deletion). Please watch the New Page Patrol talk page for more information.
While New Page Reviewers are an experienced set of editors, we all benefit from an occasional review. This month consider refreshing yourself on Wikipedia:Notability (geographic features). Also consider how we can take the time for quality in this area. For instance, sources to verify human settlements, which are presumed notable, can often be found in seconds. This lets us avoid the (ugly) 'Needs more refs' tag.

Hi, I want your help in cross checking some bio infobox parameters in Shamsheer Vayalil article. The matter is: two days ago I left a message on a wikipedia user talk page User:Authordom for adding some missing bio infobox parameters such as nationality, title and degrees(MBBS and MD in alma mater column) in Shamsheer Vayalil article. The reason for asking him for adding these parameters is that I am new to wikipedia and don't have enough knowledge in formatting bio infobox. He added those parameters in the article. Today I found that he is blocked from editing wikipedia because he vandalized one of the wikipedia article. I think he might have violated wikipedia policy in Shamsheer Vayalil's article also and I'm afraid that I might also be accused as a culprit like him.So can you please cross examine the various parameters which he added in Shamsheer Vayalil article because you hold a experience editor service badge? Thanks. 786 harsh life ( talk) 07:38, 29 January 2020 (UTC)
Hello Mydreamsparrow,
The first NPP source guide discussion is now underway. It covers a wide range of sources in Ghana with the goal of providing more guidance to reviewers about sources they might see when reviewing pages. Hopefully, new page reviewers will join others interested in reliable sources and those with expertise in these sources to make the discussion a success.
New to NPP? Looking to try something a little different? Consider patrolling some redirects. Redirects are relatively easy to review, can be found easily through the New Pages Feed. You can find more information about how to patrol redirects at WP:RPATROL.
Geographic regions, areas and places generally do not need general notability guideline type sourcing. When evaluating whether an article meets this notability guideline please also consider whether it might actually be a form of WP:SPAM for a development project (e.g. PR for a large luxury residential development) and not actually covered by the guideline.

I see that you have added two or three references. I am quite sure this person is notable. The prod template gives a week for editors to reference the article properly. Anyone may remove it if they feel that sufficient references have been added. But remember, especially when it comes to a living person, every assertion in the article must be cited.

Hi I'm Barkeep49. I've declined the WP:BLPPROD you placed at Maria Sole Agnelli. The BLPPROD criteria is quite strict - no sources are to be present in order for it to be placed. In this case there were two books listed as sources making it ineliegible for the tag. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask them here (please ping me) or to leave a question on my talk page. Best, Barkeep49 ( talk) 02:21, 13 September 2019 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:CORRIDOR 6 FILMS LOGO.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 17:29, 27 September 2019 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Sagar Puranik, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Director ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot ( talk) 07:25, 3 October 2019 (UTC)

This year's Reviewer of the Year is Rosguill.
