Pppery:, I created this category. Then you posted a notice on my talk page directing me here. I see no rationale provided. There is a cryptic code above, "WP:UCFD", with a link that leads to a list of other links, one of which I followed, but that took me to a page with further drop-down sections for every day for a whole month, that is, a ton of reading. Please do me and other interested parties a favour by providing a clear rationale here, which can be discussed, or provide at the very least a direct, specific link to something so we don't have to play two time-wasting games: Hide and seek, and Let's all guess what Pppery is talking about. I don't have time to search and play guessing games. Please state your rationale explicitly so there can be a discussion. I am keen to know what it is. Thank you.

- I have provided a rationale. The rationale is that the community has deleted categories that are not meaningfully differentiable from this one in the past. Why did the community delete things like this in the past? Because, to quote the nomination statement from

Note the link to the exact same list I linked above. Relisting comment: @ Namiba, the deprecation of SMALLCAT does not mean that small categories are peritted, merely that criteria such as "potential for growth" are ambiguous and unhelpful. - Oppose: Many, perhaps most, of the articles in this category and its subcats are artists in the medium of drawing (the second meaning given in Draughtsman, which is a disambiguation page), rather than people who make technical drawings, which is the scope of Drafter. "Drafter" isn't used for the first category of people. "Draftspersons", "draftspeople", "draughtspersons" and "draughtspeople" (apparently in roughly that order of popularity) could be possible alternative names for the category. As such, it is an ambiguous title for the category - and for the article, for that matter. Worth noting that the term "draftsman+US" gets over 10 million ghits - mearly twice as many as "drafter+US", so it's questionable which is the main term used in the US. "Drafter" isn't used for the first category of people. "Draftspersons", "draftspeople", "draughtspersons" and "draughtspeople" (apparently in roughly that order of popularity) could be possible alternative names for the category. As such, it is an ambiguous title for the category - and for the article, for that matter. Worth noting that the term "draftsman+US" gets over 10 million ghits - mearly twice as many as "drafter+US", so it's questionable which is the main term used in the US.
