{{

adds an article to
Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Lancashire{{
reqphoto|in=Cumbria}}
adds an article to
Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in CumbriaSometimes there are a number of images also on
Wikimedia Commons related to articles. Therefore this WikiProject recommends that you add a Wikimedia Commons link to the references section of an article. The templates to the right can be added to link through to the revelant category using {{
commonscat|Lancashire}}
. Please remember to always change Lancashire to the revelant articles' name.
There are now a large number of photographs on Commons that have been imported from the Geograph project. However, many of these have been categorised by a bot which sometimes puts photos in the wrong category, and others have not been categorised at all. You can use this tool to search for photos (categorised or not): zoom in to the area of interest. You can help by adding or changing the categories to something relevant.
We now have a popular pages list from the Wikimedia Toolserver. This is a list of articles tagged for this project which have been viewed the most. The archived list for the last month is at WP:L&C/PP, and you can generate other lists at https://tools.wmflabs.org/popularpages/view.php?proj=Lancashire_and_Cumbria&limit=100&offset=0
If you have a question, you need help or you have an idea to make this WikiProject better than please address all of the WikiProject Lancashire and Cumbria contributors by writing your question/idea on the WikiProject's talk page. We are here to help.
