I am not bound to discuss removing the tag. Here is a quote from the tag's disclaimer:

"You may remove this message if you improve the article, or if you otherwise object to deletion of the article for any reason. To avoid confusion, it helps to explain why you object to the deletion, either in the edit summary or on the talk page. If this template is removed, it should not be replaced."

Notice the wording. "If you otherwise object...for any reason." I am told that it "helps" to explain why I feel the object should not be deleted. I don't wish to help, I wish for Devon to remain on Wikipedia.

Ten members of Fred Phelps' Westboro Baptist Church came from Topeka, Kansas to protest. They were met by over 200 counter-protesters. In fact, counter protesters out showed the protesters 10 to 1. The NC State main article received a "mid-importances" rating while the NC State Wolfpack article received a "high-importance" rating. I am not sure what criteria are used to judge the importance of an article, but that seems backwards to me. What do you think?

I have went ahead and put the GAN on hold for Climate of North Carolina. It just needs a few tweaks here and there to get up to GA status. It would be a good idea to include a few more references, or use the same one more than once using <refname=example/>. You also should include some information about the state's severe weather climatology. I suggest using data from Raleigh's National Weather Service office for detailed information, and the extremely useful (for all things) National Climactic Data Center database, for hard numbers and descriptions of events after about 1990. The weather section is the one that needs more references, but even though I didn't see any controversial comments, cite everything in the Global Warming section. For the severe weather, look at List of North American tornadoes and tornado outbreaks for tornadoes in the state, and add them in under a severe weather section. Just include general severe weather climatology (deadliest, costliest). Just use those links above to find some of the info, but the list also has info. News Hello WikiProject North Carolina members! A few of us at the The Newsroom Team decided to get together and re-energize the project, through these newsletters. This newsletter is hopefully the first of many to come. We want this project to be active in creating and expanding articles related to our state. If you're a current or former resident of the state, we hope that you will help spread the knowledge of how much there is to learn about North Carolina. A great way to expand new articles is by keeping track of the new articles list. Please add any new NC-related articles or older ones you come across that have not been tagged with the project banner. When you notice an article has been added to the list, read over it and check for citations, grammatical errors, and spelling. If you've written a NC-related article in the past 5 days, read the requirements for Did you know... and add your article to the DYK nomination list. It might be chosen for the Main Page! If you see a new member added to the project list, a great idea would be to leave them a welcome message on their talk page. Show them we notice new members and that we want them to become active participants. Congratulations to the editors who helped promote List of tallest buildings in Charlotte, List of North Carolina hurricanes (1900–1949), List of North Carolina hurricanes (1950–1979), and List of North Carolina birds to featured lists. Let's try to get a few more articles to featured status. North Carolina would be a great (and obvious) choice. Congratulations to the editors of Climate of North Carolina as well. There's a great site, http://www.tvbythenumbers.com , which does detailed analysis and has charts and rankings for TV ratings, but they started with the 2007-2008 TV season. When did his brother introduce him? If he introduced him when he was young, then that needs to be moved up a bit... chronological order. Thanks for working on a Bulgaria-related topic, a still underrepresented area of our encyclopedia (but we're trying! :)) You've done a great job with the list and it has the potential to get to Featured list status in my opinion. You have my full support. I saw the request for a peer review but as I don't have much experience with that or with featured lists, I'll just leave a few suggestions and ideas here :) First, I can tell you that would be pretty hard to obtain free licensed images of some of those points from the ground, but we can perhaps make the article more shiny by adding pictures at least depicting the entire geographic feature or something close nearby. The first row in the tables might display a small thumbnail of each place.

For example, we can include:

• North: Image:April2003 (22) Timok.JPG or better yet something without a time tag (or doctored out)
• South: Would have to be a general view of the Eastern Rhodopes, something like Image:East-Rhodopes-view.JPG. There are also unfree (yet :)) images of Veykata here.
• West: Hard one. There are photos of the nearby village of Bobeshino, Image:Bobeshino-church-Ignat-Ignev.jpg and Image:Bobeshino-Ignat-Ignev.jpg. Edit: there are also images of Zheravino, not sure which one is closer, Image:Zheravino-church-Ignat-Ignev.jpg and Image:Zheravino-Ignat-Ignev.jpg. Online I found some unfree images of Shulep Kamak here.
• East: We have Image:Shabla-lighthouse-dinev.jpg, the lighthouse on the cape. Image:Shabla Lighthouse 2008.jpg is less pastoral :P
• Highest: Image:Musala.JPG or something like that, there are many free images as it's a popular climbing spot, needless to say.
• Lowest: Pick one of the hundreds but I've always had a crush on Image:Veleka-sinemorets-mouth-dinev.jpg :)

I might get to ask the owners of those unfree images I mentioned to release them under a free license, but unfortunately I'll be out of town for three days. If you can do that in the meantime, it would be great. If not, I promise I'll get to ask the guys as soon as I'm back.

Also, we need some more references for the descriptions of the locations, and some more descriptive text about the areas where Shabla and Shulep Kamak are located. For example, Shulep Kamak is in the Chudintsi Mountain (locally Чудинска планина, Chudinska planina). Something like that or that is quotable, but in Bulgarian. The latter is practically a list of all the points and can be used as a general source. As for Shabla, Dobruja can be mentioned to give some geographic idea.

Yes, time is also an issue with me. I've not as much time to spend on Wikipedia as I used to, unfortunately. I was thinking that this could be a rather on-going project, whereas last time we were knocking off multiple ones per day, I'd love to get even a few per month. Most of my available time is on weekends, so perhaps we could just work when we can and converse whenever. As for Dwight Schrute, if my memory serves, the article was nommed prematurely for GA, despite my warnings. It was almost 100% in universe material, and not likely to pass anything. Then, without even going through a GA review, it was nommed for FA, where it quite easily and quickly was failed. I've added bits and pieces of out of universe material here and there. There are an estimated 30,000 different varieties of United States banknotes, yet only a fraction of these are represented on Wikimedia Commons in the form of 2D scans. Additionally, Colonial America, the Confederate States, the Republic of Texas, multiple states and territories, communities, and private companies have issued banknotes that are in the public domain today but are absent from Commons. In the months of November and December, WikiProject Numismatics will be running a cross-wiki upload-a-thon, the 2019 US Banknote Contest. The goal of the contest is to increase the number of US banknote images available to content creators on all Wikimedia projects. Participants will claim points for uploading and importing 2D scans of US banknotes, and at the end of the contest all will receive awards. Whether you want to claim the Gold Wiki or you just want to have fun, all are invited to participate. If you do not want to receive invitations to future US Banknote Contests, follow the instructions here
