Indeed. It appeared as if users were ignoring the Breakdown (judging from two of the comments from the three users that replied so far), an integral part of my explanation of what occurred from my point of view. To be safe, I added an Underlined note stating exactly where the Breakdown ends and begins, which serves a similar role to the Collapse Box. Dark Knight 2149 22:26, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Intellectual Dark Web, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, such as at Articles for deletion. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello. zchrykng.
I feel like you keep declining my edits even though they are as accurate as possible. Jane Williamson-Roberts was an amazing author who wrote about Samuel de Champlain and I put her down as my reference. Although, she has written atleast 2 books about Samuel de Champlain, you decline my tiny change to article. Samuel de Champlain's middle name is 'Hunterry' (derived from german and late latin). I'm still unsure why you decline my changes. I hope to be approved because that is a huge part of Samuel's background. Sincerely, Nosli Wretnuh. Nosli Wretnuh ( talk) 03:19, 9 September 2018 (UTC) |

Hi. School notability is not very well defined in policy and guidelines, but quite well defined in practice. See WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. High schools are notable almost certainly, with minimal required sourcing much closer to WP:PLACE than WP:ORG. Lower schools are virtually never notable and must meet WP:ORG. In practice, the vast majority of lower schools that are notable are notable for reasons other than being a school. (Examples would be being located in a building that in itself is notable such as an architectural award winner or being on the NRHP).
A practice endorsed both in policy ( ATD) and in school article guidelines and particularly appropriate for NPP is to simply BOLDly blank and redirect the article to the local school district for a public school, or to the education section of the appropriate settlement article for private schools or if as in this case a school district article doesn't exist. It saves a ton of adminstrative hocus pocus and editor time. If you get push back and your redirect is reverted, then go to AfD. When you boldly redirect a school article like that, please apply the {{r from school}} template to it, which will automatically list it in the proper categories. Thanks. Greetings...
Regarding my addition to your Wikipedia article on the song "Waltzing Matilda" and your kind email about it:
What kind of "citation" were you looking for? I really didn't have any "source" for my addition, apart from having watched the movie in question itself (On the Beach, 1959) several times and having been struck by the poignancy of the use of the song at that critical moment in the film. Should you have never seen the film (based on the novel by Nevil Shute and set in and around Melbourne, Australia), do give it a look, as I think it is a significant use of the song... perhaps you would prefer to write such an addition yourself, which I quite understand.
Anyhow: many thanks and all best regards, J.P. Marmaro, Spring Hill, Florida, USA — Preceding unsigned comment added by JP Marmaro ( talk • contribs) 19:47, 19 October 2018 (UTC)

19:51, 19 October 2018 (UTC)Hi again
Thanks for the technical advice. Here are some references:
A video clip of the scene from On the Beach:
from Wikipedia's own article on the film:
/info/en/?search=On_the_Beach_(1959_film)
Frank Chacksfield's orchestral performance of the love theme from On the Beach was released as a single in 1960, reaching #47 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song "Waltzing Matilda" became popular everywhere, as a result of the film, with many folk singers recording their own versions, including Harry Belafonte, Jimmie Rodgers (who had recorded two different versions of the song), and Tim Morgan. The Seekers, who are from Australia, recorded this song several times.
from https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0053137/reviews --
The primary power of this great movie to me is how well it conveys the idea that for us, on this beach, love and tender kindness are all that matter in the end, and the end is always near. The sheer kindness that Ava and Gregory's characters express for each other is surely the key element of their triumphant relationship.
The moment in which their relationship most completely triumphs, of course, occurs at the Narbethong Hotel. "On The Beach" achieves a cinematic moment of genius when the chorus singing "Waltzing Matilda" changes from a rowdy crowd of drunks to a magnificently harmonious group of fine male voices. As the sheer beauty of the music overwhelms us, it also overwhelms our characters, and we all unite together in a sublime moment of awareness that true love and kindness give us our only victory over imminent death. "You'll never take me alive," says the ghost.
The way Gregory Peck's character shifts from fumbling with the fire to turning toward Ava as the music inspires transcendence, and the way Ava smiles at him, make this scene unforgettably great.''
From the TCM site:
http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/17688/On-the-Beach/articles.html
The basic formula for On the Beach proved successful enough for Kramer to repeat it again for two more acclaimed films, Inherit the Wind (1960) and Judgment at Nuremberg 91961), using a cast of stars to deliver a message many viewers weren't quite prepared to accept. It also generated worldwide awareness and popularity for its theme song, "Waltzing Matilda," an Australian standard adapted by composer Ernest Gold to increasingly chilling effect until its final haunting refrain in the unforgettable, desolate final scene.
Finally, a clip from the finale of the movie, again using the song:
https://www.bing.com/videos/search?q=waltzing+matilda+on+the+beach&view=detail&mid=CD4FA736A09C645BE0DECD4FA736A09C645BE0DE&FORM=VIRE — Preceding unsigned comment added by JP Marmaro ( talk • contribs) 09:23, 20 October 2018 (UTC)
I wonder, is that sufficient support? You can see why I felt any article on the song should include mention of its use in the film.
Thanks again and best regards, J P Marmaro

2010-12-XX
instead of 2010-12
for dates with a month but no days. This is because 2010-12
could be confused with 2010-2012
instead of December 2010
. This is called level 1 instead of level 0 in the
Extended Date/Time Format.

T112147 if you have objections.Hi Zchrykng! You're receiving this notification because you were previously subscribed to the Feedback Request Service, but you haven't made any edits to the English Wikipedia in over two years.
In order to declutter the Feedback Request Service list, and to produce a greater chance of active users being randomly selected to receive invitations to contribute, you've been unsubscribed, along with all other users who have made no edits in two years or more.
You do not need to do anything about this - if you are happy to not receive Feedback Request Service messages, thank you very much for your contributions in the past, and this will be the last you hear from the service. If, however, you would like to resubscribe yourself, you can follow the below instructions to do so:
{{
Frs user|Zchrykng|limit}}
underneath the relevant heading(s), where limit is the maximum number of requests you wish to receive for that category per month. If you've just come back after a wikibreak and are seeing this message, welcome back! You can follow the above instructions to re-activate your subscription. Likewise, if this is an alternate account, please consider subscribing your main account in much the same way.
Note that if you had a rename and left your old name subscribed to the FRS, you may be receiving this message on your new username's talk page still. If so, make sure your new account name is subscribed to the FRS, using the same procedure mentioned above.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask on the Feedback Request Service talk page, or on the Feedback Request Service bot's operator's talk page. Thank you! Message delivered to you with love by Yapperbot :) | Is this wrong? Contact my bot operator. | Sent at 18:03, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Not a problem. "Professional footballer" is an assertion of notability (even if the individual is not actually notable), so is not eligible. Let me know if you have any more questions. Giant Snowman 15:24, 4 June 2021 (UTC)
