I really like your Real Title script, Interiot, and I've used it to replace a Greasemonkey script I used to have. Hi, Just out of curiosity, would you consider altering your signature in a way that makes it readable? Is it just my browser? I assume it is the way it is on purpose? Thanks!- Dmz5 *Edits* *Talk* 06:18, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
I came here to ask the same thing; the signature is difficult for me to read, and would be impossible for anyone with visual difficulties. I understand that you've changed it somehow to the satisfaction of Dmz5, but my problem is with the way you intend it to look. Also I'm pretty sure that using a template for a signature is at best frowned upon, possibly forbidden, but I'll check that. -- Mel Etitis ( Μελ Ετητης) 18:06, 9 February 2007 (UTC)
Your signature is indeed now six lines long, as well as being difficult to read (colours against a black background are difficult anyway, and very difficult for people with visual impairments; please do something about it. I realize I'm going to clutter this page a little, but I haven't seen another issue someone raised to me: The use of names in signatures other than Usernames or Real names, like mine. What would happen if I changed my name now? Wouldn't it be confusing if someone is called both "Tuvok" and "Voyagerfan5761" in discussions? Also, I'm working on shortening my sig again. User_Talk:Philjendo seems to have good intentions about trying to flesh out articles about his martial arts style, Jendo. He seems to start with a small article and contributes many small edits to making articles better. I see that you tagged Jendo Martial Arts Heads and Instructors and it was deleted. It seems like he was taking the advice of Peter Rehse who said on Phil's talk page that he should "Giv(e) an idea of how many places practice it (through a list of instructors) would go a long way to fixing that problem". Hi, Mr. Humala. I realize you're already getting a lot of attention you may not like, but it's brought another issue to my attention. You use a template for your signature. If you read WP:SIG#Transclusion of templates, you'll see that this has been prohibited. I will freely admit that I had experience with this, and I agree with the reasoning (at the time I used a sig template, transclusion was merely "frowned upon"). Hello,
I'm writing in response to the tag for removal of the maps for time zones of Canada, I'm new here and would appreciate any help to correct things, I provided the wording from the site, the link and I feel it's also fair use as I'm a Canadian and the Government website clearly states how the maps can be used.
One thing I would like to ask or suggest is maybe it would be more helpful to advise a person on how to fix things and adapt to this setting, it just seems to easy to just tag it and bag it.
Any constructive advice in how to improve would be great, Thank You, Everything Is Relative 05:31, 8 March 2007 (UTC)
P.S. I don't know why this went out in this format, I'm sorry.
The Images I was trying to tie into the list of time zones, this request was originally in the request for articles page, I'm sorry I made the assumption that the info was wanted and the requester had been unable to find any info they were requesting there on here, what was suposed to happen that I was attempting to do was for the maps to be shown along with the timezone listings therefore helping the orginal requester of the article. The Images were fine for use and I did not know the requirement for tags, what I recall is it asks for info on where you got the image url and so on I had thought I had met those critera.
