Young Living Essential Oils Page

Hello, I am planning to recreate the Young Living page for Young Living Essential Oils, this time using citations consisting of 4 separate FDA warning letters, an OSHA establishment inspection report, and various EPA documents. So, in other words, not spammy this time and actually chock-full of actual, real citations. Hopefully that's alright. I have no affiliation with the company, but have noticed what a lack of accurate information there is about the subject. Christopher Lotito ( talk) 22:04, 9 June 2014 (UTC) reply

Hi,

I found a file of yours on Wikimedia Commons ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Teeth_diagram.png)that I would like to use in an elementary science manual I'm creating. Currently, it would just used by my homeschool class (about 17 students) but there's a chance that the publisher of the textbook I'm using would pick it up. If they do, I would be paid a modest amount and the manual would be available as a free download on the publisher's website. The manual is approximately 70-80 pages long, and your image appears on one of the interior pages. I did make some slight modifications to the labels of it so that the students could "fill in the blank". I can show you final copy of it, which shows my modifications, as well as how it would be attributed. Please let me know if this is acceptable to you and how best to get a copy to you for review. Not sure how communication really works through Wikipedia as I've never done it. The best email to respond to is lkvanweelden@yahoo.com.

Thanks.

User:Persian Poet Gal/Talk other stuff/Border

I was fixing lint errors, in particular Tidy bug affecting font tags wrapping links, and I was working on User:CorbieVreccan/Admin Toolbox, which has several calls to {{User:Persian Poet Gal/Talk other stuff/Border}}, so that got me to attempt to linting that template. It's a bit beyond my skills, and I wouldn't want to edit it to remove lint errors unless I could be certain that I preserved its functionality. As you understand what's going on much better than I do, maybe you can fix the lint errors, of which there are 3:

  1. <table> is missing its closing </table>
  2. <h3> is missing its closing </h3>
  3. <font> is obsolete and you're supposed to replace it with <span style...>

Solutions:

  1. I think the closing </table> would go at the very end.
  2. I think the closing </h3> would go just before </TD>.
  3. I tried changing
<font face="{{{hfont}}}" color="{{{tcolor}}}">'''{{{header}}}'''</font>

to

<span style="font-family: {{{hfont}}}; color: {{{tcolor}}};">'''{{{header}}}'''</span>

but this changed the preview from green to black, so I'm probably missing something.

One more thing: in the comment at the top, please change "peak" to "peek". — Anomalocaris ( talk) 11:11, 24 November 2017 (UTC) reply

A tag has been placed on File:Wildlife Barnstar (Vtwo).png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused duplicate or lower-quality copy of another file on Wikipedia having the same file format, and all inward links have been updated.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Requesting permission to use your burn degree diagram from Wiki CommonsRobert B Grubh 06:17, 16 July 2015 (UTC) [1]

Robert B Grubh 06:17, 16 July 2015 (UTC)Dear Ms 'Persian poet gal', I want to use your excellent diagram https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Burn_Degree_Diagram.png (from Wikimedia Commons) in a non-profit website that I am developing (not published yet) on health and life (I shall send you the link after completing it. You would like it). I shall be grateful to receive your kind permission to use the above diagram on this website under First Aid - Burns. Is it okay if I give the standard Attribution mentioned on that Wikimedia page? Anything longer than that will be too unwieldy to use. My email id is rbgrubh@live.com. Kindly use my email if you will. Thank you very much. Robert B Grubh, India — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rbgrubh ( talkcontribs) 06:17, 16 July 2015 (UTC) reply

Thanks.

VanClanMomma, PPG hasn't edited Wikipedia for some years. You don't need to get permission to reuse files from Commons, which is an open-source project, but you do need to attribute them—the attribution requirements for this particular file are here. ‑  Iridescent 16:01, 21 October 2016 (UTC) reply

Requesting to use one of your images from Wikipedia

Hello there, I was wondering if it is possible to use one of your images I found on Wikipedia of the human nervous system for a book I am writing on martial arts. I contacted Wikipedia but they told me to contact the author. The image I am asking about is here at this link https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Nervous_system_diagram.png. It stated you give all permissions, but I couldn't find your real name to place under the reference page, I wasn't sure if you cared or not or if you would like me to even put your name on my reference page and just leave it as a Wiki reference.

Thank you for your time. Brandonmp2001 ( talk) 02:10, 15 September 2017 (UTC)Brandon Schild reply
