Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Kenwood Elementary School (Bowling Green, Ohio), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bowling Green ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello TheQ Editor! Thank you for your note on my talk page regarding the article on the German Society of Montreal. I am in the process of adding more information and doing more research on the history and current work of the Society. 1835-2014 is a long time period to cover in a condense and informative way appropriate for Wikipedia :) One questions-- is it better to add the information bit-by-bit as its ready or should I wait until the article is completed and then upload it all at once? — Preceding unsigned comment added by NicoAhn ( talk • contribs) 17:43, 18 April 2014 (UTC)

I'm sorry, but schools below high school level are not considered "notable" enough for a Wikipedia article unless there is something really extraordinary about them - ancient, notorious, architectural award winner, something like that. I've redirected the article to the school district, which is standard practice. Sorry to waste your work on the article. Hi
Thanks for you help in creating this page, for reference I have removed your tags for categories of sports competitions and golf as these are not generally used for individual events where more appropriate subcategories are available, I have therefore changed these to PGA latinoamerica events, Golf in Puerto Rico and Recurring sporting events established in 2012. I hope you agree that this is a more appropriate categorisation.
Also the leader board would not normally be included for golf tournaments outside of the major championships, world golf championships or where otherwise considered exceptionally notable, I have not removed this from the article but I think that there is a high chance that it may be removed as not important enough at some point in the future.
Regards

I just thought I'd leave a personal message instead of a template. While your edit was made in good faith, Wikipedia is not an instruction manual nor a strategy guide. Thanks for your message which reads: "Hello, I'm TheQ Editor. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Foss Leach without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful..". I am a new contributor to Wikipedia. This article I wrote generated a lot of adverse comments from Wikipedia. I felt it would be sensible to remove most of the content and add it slowly back by smaller amounts and see if I could understand which portions were generating the adverse comments. It was not all clear to me why my article caused such a negative response. 122.59.188.57 ( talk) 17:59, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Hello, I had a question about an edit I had made on the Catchphrase Wikipedia page. It's a UK game show. I recently was on the ITV Press Office Page where they announced that the next celebrity episode featuring Jo Brand would air on 1 June, so I copied the link to the press release and updated the Wikipedia page with the source which is definitely valid as it comes from the network. The page was semi-protected so I had to wait, as I am not registered, but I was certain it would be accepted as it was accompanied by a valid source, but twice it was reverted. I tried asking a question about why it was reverted but received no answer. I don't understand what i did wrong. I thought that the point of Wikipedia editing was providing a valid source. Can you please explain why my edit was reverted twice when I did nothing wrong? Thanks in advance 184.160.203.195 ( talk) 18:29, 23 May 2014 (UTC)samusek2

I am very concerned that my submission appears to be so deficient, but as I became a user in order to write this profile of Foss Leach I suppose it is not surprising, and I will appreciate further guidance as to how to make it acceptable.
Because my first attempt at preparing the article generated so many adverse responses I was initially baffled to know how best to address the various issues. I decided that one approach might be to simplify the article, by removing almost all of the content and starting afresh. I thought that I would add a paragraph at a time and save it and see what, if any, comments appeared in the banner at the top. Then I could make revisions to a smaller body of text until the editors decided it was acceptable, and then add some new text, etc.
Unfortunately, my attempt to employ this strategy resulted in an even worse problem of the editors intervening and undoing my removals.
I hope this explains my behaviour to your satisfaction. regards Janet Davidson. Nukuoro2 ( talk) 18:34, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

Hey TheQ Editor. Your last edit at the Teahouse just happened to cross my eye while looking at my watchlist and I know you made it in good faith. I just thought I'd mention that, as opposed to article and administrative pages, we generally avoid touching other user's posts unless it's the most ministerial of changes and ones that might that cause a problem for third parties, like a non-working link because of a typo that is given as advice to someone but they wonlt be able to access it because of that typo. Please see Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#Others' comments. I personally do not want my posts, typos and all, ever touched by anyone unless the fix is of the sort I just mentioned.-- Fuhghettaboutit ( talk) 23:35, 31 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi TheQ Editor/Archive Apr-May 2014. After reviewing your request for rollback, I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:
If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:New admin school/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! kelapstick( bainuu) 21:22, 17 May 2014 (UTC)

Yes, I gone through them, I am glad that you are reviewing the articles quite commendably. RRD13 ( talk) 07:33, 21 May 2014 (UTC)
Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on pages protected by pending changes. The list of articles awaiting review is located at Special:PendingChanges, while the list of articles that have pending changes protection turned on is located at Special:StablePages.
Being granted reviewer rights neither grants you status nor changes how you can edit articles. If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time.

At Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Adrian Holtzman, you mentioned that "no reliable source could be found about Michael Alston on the web." Alston is the photographer credited with taking the photos used on the Adrian Holtzman page; he is irrelevant to the discussion at hand. Please indicate that you mistyped your comment, or else please reevaluate the article regarding Holtzman's notability, not Alston's. WikiDan61 ChatMe! ReadMe!! 12:12, 23 May 2014 (UTC)

Your signature disrupts the way surrounding text displays because of the part <font size="3">. Can you take that part out of your signature? -- AmaryllisGardener talk 12:39, 24 May 2014 (UTC)

I just cannot avoid you, can I? Even when I try. Your name comes up on my talk, on recent changes, on requests for permissions, on other user's talk pages, everywhere that I look, you're there, and that deserves something. Congrats! Lixxx235 ( talk) 19:42, 26 May 2014 (UTC) |
Hey TheQ Editor! It's nice to see that new users are liking to stay here in Wikipedia. I noticed in your userpage that you are accepting GA reviews. Can you review Paige (wrestler) to become GA? If you want I could something in return like reviewing another GA article of yours. Thanks and happy editing! Fairy Tail Rocks 12:51, 27 May 2014 (UTC)

Hi there, I see you are accepting requests to do GA reviews. I am currently waiting for a reviewer for Antonín Kinský and would really appreciate your time. Thanks, C 679 19:32, 30 May 2014 (UTC)

I cheated when making it. How do you like it? Thanks, Lixxx235 Got a complaint? 00:42, 1 June 2014 (UTC)
