Italian art collector. This is in no way a sufficient declaration of your conflict of interest regarding the specific piece of art in your collection, Fin de siėcle. And, as the owner of the Graci Collection, I would strongly discourage you from writing about it. You may, if you think your collection is that noteworthy, request an article be written about it by an independent editor. WikiDan61 ChatMe! ReadMe!! 17:08, 29 January 2024 (UTC)

My name is Nick Dymott and I am the webmaster and magazine editor for the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal Trust. I am reaching out to you in relation to the work done by yourself on the Wikipedia page on the Herefordshire and Gloucestershire Canal.
In late 2021 I attempted to make some amendments to the page, but these were not properly supported with citations/references, and the changes I made were understandably undone by yourself shortly thereafter.
I wish to make a further attempt at updating the article, particularly in relation to the Restoration of the Canal, and to correct a couple of inaccuracies elsewhere in the article.
In doing so I will attempt to fully support new material with appropriate citations and references, but I am new to Wikipedia and may therefore not get everything lined up correctly at first.
The purpose of this communication is to let you know of my intentions, and to ask that you bear with me, and if at all possible offer guidance on correcting any poor Wikipedia practices I use.
I am reaching out to user Bob1960evens in a similar way to this, as he has contributed much to the article..
Any assistance offered would be very much appreciated.

Hi WikiDan61, just want to address your comments to see if there was any room for consideration? Christian was on a nationally televised Memorial Day tribute on TNT in May of 1995. His mission was considered significant enough for the USS Midway to keep on their Mission Board -- permanently. The researchers on the USS Midway are currently expanding their information on his story. And this January 2024 his records are currently under a requested Congressional Inquiry by a US Senator, which is currently being covered today on MSN.com and Yahoo News right now. (see: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/i-hope-he-was-not-a-pow-but-vietnam-vet-s-midstate-cousin-finds-evidence-he-survived-being-shot-down/ar-BB1hP3k6) Also the strange nature of his disappearance and mention in the PRAVDA article (which was likely because he had well documented SIOP/ALOFT nuclear weapons training) and the over 30 year long search by the CIA for answers to his disappearance which is well documented on the Library of Congress's archives. Further, he was within the first two dozen pilots to be shot down during the beginnings of the war. Finally he leads of Chapter 8 of Scott McGaugh's hard bound book: Midway Magic: An Oral History of America's Legendary Aircraft Carrier (ISBN 9781593150273). I sited many other references other than the Skyhawk association. I included: books, national TV coverage, current news coverage, as well as records from the Library of Congress and the National Archives. Also he was recently covered in a video game simulation on YouTube and received over 15,000 views inside of 2 weeks. So, I don't think the sources should be in question. So please reconsider. He has had much more coverage and is much more significant than you are portraying him to be. Respectfully submitted. VE23BlackKnights ( talk) 20:09, 8 February 2024 (UTC)

First, I would like to ask that, in order to keep our conversations chronological, all future comments be added to the bottom of the page. Second, I understand that the USS Midway Museum is a popular attraction. Lots of people walk through, and there they see some writing on a board. I think the likelihood that any of them take the time to note what the writing says, or would remember it 5 minutes later on exit from the museum, is quite low. WikiDan61 ChatMe! Hi,
Thanks for your feedback on the review of the above draft.
Fair comments, regarding recognition - I have noticed there is a lot of conflicting information out there.
Even on Wikipedia itself (i.e. Friends of the Peak District v Peak District Boundary Walk) or on the local branch CPRE (PDSY) website itself ( Our History v Peak District Boundary Walk). Even articles on the national CPRE site disagrees with local branch statements. Confusing.
I'll reach out and find out precisely what he contributed and is responsible for individually (as well as more on his army background). Once I know I will clean up / report those internal and external sources. Already have other independent sources but thought the most impactful stuff would be from the charities - will remove some of them.
I'll also enquire about what his CBE award and why it was so significant and yet his wife was only awarded a MBE for her work (maybe a sign of the times, who knows).
Thanks again. Son Gokū Magia ( talk) 11:45, 9 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello WikiDan61,
Backlog update: The October drive reduced the article backlog from 11,626 to 7,609 and the redirect backlog from 16,985 to 6,431! Congratulations to Schminnte, who led with over 2,300 points.
Following that, New Page Patrol organized another backlog drive for articles in January 2024. The January drive started with 13,650 articles and reduced the backlog to 7,430 articles. Congratulations to JTtheOG, who achieved first place with 1,340 points in this drive.
Looking at the graph, it seems like backlog drives are one of the only things keeping the backlog under control. Another backlog drive is being planned for May. Feel free to participate in the May backlog drive planning discussion.
It's worth noting that both queues are gradually increasing again and are nearing 14,034 articles and 22,540 redirects. We encourage you to keep contributing, even if it's just a single patrol per day. Your support is greatly appreciated!
2023 Awards
Onel5969 won the 2023 cup with 17,761 article reviews last year - that's an average of nearly 50/day. There was one Platinum Award (10,000+ reviews), 2 Gold Awards (5000+ reviews), 6 Silver (2000+), 8 Bronze (1000+), 30 Iron (360+) and 70 more for the 100+ barnstar. Hey man im josh led on redirect reviews by clearing 36,175 of them. For the full details, see the Awards page and the Hall of Fame. Congratulations everyone for their efforts in reviewing!
WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers deployed the rewritten NewPagesFeed in October, and then gave the NewPagesFeed a slight visual facelift in November. This concludes most major work to Special:NewPagesFeed, and most major work by the WMF Moderator Tools team, who wrapped up their major work on PageTriage in October. The WMF Moderator Tools team and volunteer software developers will continue small work on PageTriage as time permits.
Recruitment: A couple of the coordinators have been inviting editors to become reviewers, via mass-messages to their talk pages. If you know someone who you'd think would make a good reviewer, then a personal invitation to them would be great. Additionally, if there are Wikiprojects that you are active on, then you can add a post there asking participants to join NPP. Please be careful not to double invite folks that have already been invited.
Reviewing tip: Reviewers who prefer to patrol new pages within their most familiar subjects can use the regularly updated NPP Browser tool.

Hi, I'm not very pleased by the changes you introduced in the mentioned article. You not only cancelled all the detailed publications/issues but also all the references that were meant to respond to the lack of information underlined in the banner. In addition, it took me quite a long time to find accurate information, which means that I did work for nothing trying to improve Wiki. I understand that you enjoy quite a high position as an official censor or so, but I would ge greatful if you'd accept to restore the previous page as I left it. Hello! Please do not refuse me the publication of my article... This is very interesting information, a fascinating event in the life of the royal family of Russia... Most of the current representatives of the Romanovs have an article about themselves on Wikipedia, and the only descendant of Nicholas was ignored, is this fair? I added more information about this person. I ask you, give this article a chance to live. I found all the information about this man in the book “The Romanovs”, I also added a link. Wikipedia allows articles of this format. In addition to “popularity is not inherited,” there is a point about the individuality of the individual... his merits, scope of activity and public opinion about him. also, this is important information about a very influential person Marcello Vałe ( talk) 04:41, 9 April 2024 (UTC)

Hi WikiDan61, I write about your helpful review of the changes to the Torkel Opsahl Academic EPublisher page. I studied more and understood the wrong list of links. That said and agreed, these are stable links to fully open-access resources (the PDF file directly, for example) and are not under those which should be avoided. I understand that the policy allows for such links to be added in footnotes, but I wanted to confirm with an experienced editor before doing so. Thank you. Hello Dan! I saw the warring on the Christianity in Iraq page and came here to thank you with your patience in the talk section. I’ve currently edited the page to include a disputed neutrality template to create a middle ground until the consensus is achieved. Whilst I see the section as definitely biased with Aboona having a perspective which promotes Assyrian continuity theory, I don’t believe merely finger pointing is good for wikipedia (naturally!). Thus for now I will try to conduct my research whilst not straying too far from my university assignments.

Thanks in advance, Vanechka Vanechka32 ( talk) 18:35, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello! Please do not refuse me the publication of my article... This is very interesting information, a fascinating event in the life of the royal family of Russia... Most of the current representatives of the Romanovs have an article about themselves on Wikipedia, and the only descendant of Nicholas was ignored, is this fair? Marcello Vałe ( talk) 19:15, 8 April 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I am not fully sure how to what would make a page notable ? I think street art projects are helpful to bring aspects of city or region to public attention. I can find scientific references that show art projects can help preventing crime. Bitdiver ( talk) 20:33, 9 April 2024 (UTC)
Once again, I appreciate your pateince! Volkish Kurden ( talk) 22:13, 14 April 2024 (UTC)
Hi @ WikiDan61, I am the author of the Jeff Schiefelbein page you reviewed. The error stated Schiefelbein does not have adequate coverage to allow for an article on Wikipedia. Please be specific in your requirements. The Schiefelbein article meets and exceeds most articles on Wikipedia for biographies of living people. I have personally heard Schiefelbein speak and he is certainly deserving of some recognition on this platform as he has a well rounded platform in various subject matters and areas.
