Hello, I see on your user page that you use JSTOR and I'd like to know more about your experience. By my calculations, a good 70 % of the main JSTOR content is now available for everyone at Internet Archive Scholar, with full text search provided e.g. at https://scholar.archive.org/ . The service is still in beta, but I've used it for some source-finding and it seems quite usable to me; I wonder whether that's just my experience. If you have a chance, the next time you'd be looking for a source on Google Scholar or JSTOR or similar, to perform the same search on IA scholar instead, I'd be curious to hear how it ends up. Hello Philafrenzy,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Stuart Neil for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Thank you for your efforts on Indian women in war. A direction pleace?? Thanks for bringing to my attention. Were they recruited from starving Bengal famine individuals? Whispyhistory ( talk) 21:23, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
Hi, hope all is well. Since I nominated one of articles you created this morning, I’ve noticed that you have added and expanded the article. First and foremost, thank you for edits to improve the page. However, are you still intending to edit it further, seeing as the construction tag still remains. I have commented on the discussion that I am considering withdrawing my AFD earlier today after I saw some edits being made, and I am willing to do this unless you have an objection to this.
That being said, thank you again for beginning to expand Southampton Archives. Fats40boy11 ( talk) 14:38, 21 July 2022 (UTC)
The article Henry Thomas Birch Reynardson has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
This person was an officer in a light infantry unit. Even when we had the military notability guidelines this would not have been enough to show notability. Now that we do not have such guidelines it is not even remotely close to enough to justify inclusion
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your
edit summary or on
the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the
proposed deletion process, but other
deletion processes exist. In particular, the
speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and
articles for deletion allows discussion to reach
consensus for deletion.
This bot DID NOT nominate any of your contributions for deletion; please refer to the history of each individual page for details. Thanks, FastilyBot ( talk) 09:01, 26 July 2022 (UTC)
The article John Jarvis-Smith has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Non notable shipbroker, not featured heavily in multiple sources bar the Telegraph recipient of a distinguished service award which between 1901 and 2016 had 6.5k+ recipients showing that although not common is not significant enough as an award/honour.

Thanks!
