Hello Onel5969. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of DXFL, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Sufficiently different from the previous version, there's many more sources than there were. It's enough for CSD, no comment on the GNG, that will need to be assessed at AfD if necessary. Thank you. Ged UK 10:26, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
Hello Onel5969. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Gary Schwartz (actor), a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: There's better sourcing now than the previous version that are about the subject. Needs to go back to AfD if required. Thank you. Ged UK 10:30, 2 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, I reverted the edit you made at Northern Canada Power Commission which turned it back into a redirect to Northwest Territories Power Corporation. Based on what I had found NCPC was a separate federal entity that was then carved up and transferred to territorial jurisdiction into what is now Yukon Energy and NTPC. If you still disagree then I'm interested to hear your side and I can try to find a solution. Cheers, RA0808 talk contribs 00:17, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi! I noticed you reverted my edit with the message "does not meet wp:nbook". I investigated, and I disagreed with your assessment. If you look at the Criteria section, this book has been reviewed in notable sites, such as Den of Geek, The Verge, and Cnet.com. I reverted your edit because I believe that the book does meet the necessary criteria. I'll watch this page for any messages you might leave. Thanks! Dswitz10734 ( talk) 14:02, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, it's pretty clear this should be a standalone page and having reviewed the Mohun Bagan A.C. and ATK Mohun Bagan FC talk pages I'm not exactly sure what consensus you're pointing to in order to restore the redirect? To me it looks like there was an opposed move, since there is a need for a new article as opposed to an article name change. SportingFlyer T· C 20:27, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
If editors prefer to have a separate article solely and specifically on the football team as currently structured, I would suggest creating a draft for a proposed subtopic split, which is what we have here (and is supported by the references on the talk page.) The two discussions just means that there is no consensus to move Mohun Bagan to ATK Mohun Bagan, not that there's no consensus to create a new topic. I do admit the whole thing is a mess. SportingFlyer T· C 20:53, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi, first off sorry for wasting your time with the first two big edits. But now I wanted to know why the sources I added are considered too closely related. I was basing this page off of UOIT Engineering Students' Society, who also has sources which are either the society's website or the school's/town's newspapers/blogs. It seems like they're both constructed the same way, so it's not an outlier in presentation. @ Onel5969: This road is no longer part of the Gore Highway, so your change to a redirect makes no sense. Downsize43 ( talk) 20:43, 5 December 2020 (UTC)
I have no idea what prompted the copyright thing. I mainly used info from Chris McNab's "Modern Small Arms - 300 of the World's Greatest Small Arms" book (ISBN 9781782742166) with small bits from there and there - like gunwiki and modernfirearms and others. Like is naming the firearm designer a copyright violation or something?
I know this copyright or "plagiarism" thing is a dead serious issue - but I daresay that this is borderline gaming the system here. Would you or User:Cwmhiraeth care to elaborate a bit about the specifics of this kerfuffle? -- TrickShotFinn ( talk) 15:38, 6 December 2020 (UTC)

I came to notice that you recently marked 2020 France–Islamist controversy and 2020 France-Islamist controversy redirects as reviewed. While the latter was automatically created by AnomieBOT, I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that the former was manipulatively created by a direct move from the draft namespace without consulting the redirect wizard. There's currently a discussion to determine the legitimacy of these redirects and their predecessor drafts as subtopics of their current target instead of the WP:SPINOFF that they were originally meant to be until the now indefed page mover, GPinkerton, unilaterally decided to move them on grounds of being WP:POVFORKs. On a side note, as well, I believe the current title is ungrammatical. It should've been 2020 France-Islamists controversy instead. Please let me know your rationale behind reviewing, thanks. Please do not continue to tag stubs on plants as "one source". A one-sentence stub with one source is acceptable, and the stubs should have a " taxonbar" template at the bottom with a half-dozen or more other WP:V sources. Also, nobody will ever improve these stubs because of a tag. They might improve the stub because they care about the topic, but usually the tag just sits there for years, distracting the readers and accomplishing nothing. Hello Onel5969, I am regarding about the articled titled Erik J. Berg. The article Erik J. Berg was created back in 2009, and it has no citation sources at all. I have remove portions of unsourced content that includes removing the date of birth and birthplace the article still has no citation sources. Erik J. Berg was ineligible for proposed deletion for the second time. Now for my request could put the article Erik J. Berg into "Articles for deletion" for the 2nd nomination. On the 1st nomination at the Erik J. Berg the result on the 1st nomination was a "Keep". Now could you put Erik J. Berg into the articles for deletion for the 2nd nomination at the articles for deletion and unsourced content at the Erik J. Berg article and it does not meet the WP:GNG for my request. Will you do the request at the articles for deletion for me please? I will be happy for your reply to confirm my request. I thank you and and please stay healthy during the pandemic. This edit changed the meaning: the context has to do with the threat of a Mongol ("Tatar") invasion of the Iranian city of Herat, and as far as I can see, there were no hordes of Japanese ghosts involved.
This link is also not optimal – the word linked is not a synonym for the introduced link target, but a related topic, so piping it the way you've done will likely be confusing to readers. Linking that word may not even be necessary – it's possible to tweak another link earlier in the text to point to the same article. – Uanfala (talk) 00:07, 8 December 2020 (UTC)

Hey there, I wanted to ask why you redirected the page for Patrick Judge to Demon Hunter again? The reason it had previously been redirected was because of a lack of sources and bad formatting of the page. However, since then, back in 2015, there have been several sources, which I outlined in the page. Despite that, it got redirected again without giving it a chance. I just wanted to ask your expert opinion as to what that decision entailed? --Metalworker14 (Yo) 22:09, 8 December 2020 (UTC)
Hello. Recently you sent two articles (Valentin Belokhvostik and Mikhailovsky Square) that had some References to the Draft version, thus inactivating the articles. These stubs had at least one source and additional sources in Bibliography. You chose to inactivate the articles instead of letting the editors know that more sources can be added for improvement. Partizan Kuzya ( talk) 17:57, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
This is a poor practice to expand on the diversity and inclusion of topics of the articles. Due to a lack of awareness and support from the community, these articles will be in the draft stage for a very long time. The measures should not be as harsh as to silence some topics, but rather constructive to support the editors (e.g., a notification through tagging before sending the article to the draft stage). Partizan Kuzya ( talk) 19:07, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
What was meant above is that you did not give me a chance to correct it if you were to tag it instead. You chose to silence it for months without warning. I don't believe this is an inclusive practice. Partizan Kuzya ( talk) 19:25, 9 December 2020 (UTC)
Uanfala, well, Literature is ambiguous. Is it a bibliography, which is sourcing? Or is it further reading, which isn't? And since it didn't appear as a footnote, WP:V would definitely apply. Regardless, either article was not sourced well enough when it was draftified. Onel5969 TT me 21:48, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

Onel5969: I am not sure if it was due to this process or not, but Mikhailovsky Square was unlinked from three other WP languages. I linked it back. The page was created as a translation and was linked to other WPs during the translation. I do not see a record when it was unlinked. I am just bringing the awareness -- no intention to start another lengthy discussion, as I believe we all here for the same purpose, improvement. Thank you. Hi. I saw you have inserted the template on the articles I created in the last days, which need more sources according to the template. These squads are pretty old informations, and you can't find so many sources to these articles. I have found one webpage where you can find all of the games of these championships with all of the players. That was my source. I think, it is very nice to have this database on the Wikipedia, and at least it has one source. So please delete that template on the articles and don't delete this articles. It can be very important for the fans to read, and I had a lot of work with that. Thank you for your understanding! -- Betomi23 ( talk) 08:07, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi, thanks for tagging the Christine Fang article for paraphrasing, you beat me to it! :) What do you make of the whole thing anyway? Thoughts? -- DoubleGrazing ( talk) 13:16, 10 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi Onel5969 I am the editor who wrote the article from scratch and I can see that you tagged it for close paraphrasing. Can you tell me which section you think I close paraphrased? I went to great lengths to summarize as much of the article as possible so I am not sure what you may be referring to. The only part of the article I can see which might violates close paraphrasing would be the "Impact" section - I've made some changes to address this. Forevertruthsayer ( talk) 00:39, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
I marked the article for speedy deletion however you removed the tag. The event is mentioned under Eric_Swalwell#Ties_to_alleged_Chinese_spy. The article is not well sourced. It's merely salacious, so the exclusive Axios article [3] has been reported in other places. The fundamental problem is as I've outlined in the talk, is that this person was merely followed for potentially being a spy. The only facts were her involvement with powerful men. She wasn't arrested. She left the US voluntarily. The only govt action was to warn Swalwell of the risk. The Wikipedia:Biographies_of_living_persons policy applies, which says just being suspected of something is not noteworthy. As is, the article is not biographical, but defamatory and a disclosure of confidential information. Can we return the tag so the matter can be carefully reviewed by administrators to decide what process should be followed. Travelmite ( talk) 22:10, 11 December 2020 (UTC)

You recently reviewed the page The Best American Short Stories 2020, which I created, and determined that it does not meet notability guidelines for books. All The Best American Short Story anthologies published after 1991 have their own page, so it should be expected that the 2020 anthology would also have its own page. Additionally, this page follows the exact same format as the page The Best American Short Stories 2019. Does that page meet notability guidelines for books?
Also, people who are viewing the page The Best American Short Stories will now encounter a self-redirect ( WP:SELFRED). This should be avoided, as it may cause someone to wrongly believe that a page has been created for the 2020 anthology. Johnj1995 ( talk) 20:31, 11 December 2020 (UTC)
You replied to Doomsdayer520 at the AFD for this article. I think that Doomsdayer520 is acting under a good-faith error about Articles for Creation, and thinks that something was wrong with the AFC review of this article so that it was approved. I am discussing with them on their user talk page. My assessment is that AFC worked as intended, and did not approve the article, but that the article was moved by the author into article space anyway. I agree with you that this is a case where NPP is the gate, as it is the gate for all new articles, but it isn't a case of reviewer error, but of the author ignoring the review. Maybe you or I can explain further. I think that you and I and Doomsdayer520 all agree that the article should be deleted, and that we only disagree as to what the procedural error was. The ASCAP award referenced is very substantial in that industry as it is the other half of the two major American composers organizations, the other being BMI - both organizations tied directly to how composers receive income for their work.

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Newsmax TV. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as " edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.
If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges on that page. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. Liz Read! I am fully against your revdel proposal. It was me who wrote 95% of the 2021 U-20 World Cup article (including the part on that BLOG), which I then copied to the 2023 as the process is the same. You think that the website was copied to WP? It is the other way around. Please check the revision history of the 2021 FIFA U-20 World Cup to prove my claims. And FYI, that was posted on 8 October 2020, WAY AFTER I wrote those. I know you are an avid activist on this but do not embarrass yourself by claiming something based on some blatant copy-pasted blog post. Flix11 ( talk) 12:46, 25 December 2020 (UTC)

Hi Onel5969
The tag you put to delete the page was not correct in my point of view because Raybak Abdesselem has won medals for his country and according to WP Athletes he is passing the notability that is why i created this page, on other hand there are many pages of karate champion who have same amount of references and won same kinds of title and they have the wikipedia page. For example: Ali_Fadakar Mehdi_Amouzadeh Saleh_Abazari Hamoun_Derafshipour Bahman_Asgari
All karateka players have same amount of references, i have added one news source and will add more in french as i don't understand french, i shall be thankful if you could reverse your decision, otherwise 30 to 40 karate player pages will be deleted from Wikipedia.

Hi, you reverted
Cuman–Kipchak confederation to redirect to
Cumania, why? Because the amount was too small?
Cumania should deal only with the geographic region "Cumania". The confederation, that is a different concept from the region, should be dealt with in a separate article (
Cuman–Kipchak confederation). Many other languages' Wiki pages that link Cumania deal with only the region (or grassland). For example, Chinese wiki has another article dealing with the confederation (
zh:庫曼汗國). The saparate article
Cuman–Kipchak confederation is necessary.--

Hi there, you reverted my article to draftspace, citing lack of notability and inadequate supporting information. I believed the subject to be notable enough by virtue of her founding the national music college in Zimbabwe and teaching at a major music college in the UK for nearly twenty years. I also agree that although there's very little information there and it all came from her obituary (again, a half-page obit in a major national newspaper speaks to notability), however I thought the point of Wikipedia was that other editors would be able to flesh out the article further, but I don't see that happening in draftspace.
Like is naming the firearm designer a copyright violation or something?

Hi, thanks for tagging the Christine Fang article for paraphrasing, you beat me to it! :) What do you make of the whole thing anyway? It seems to be a ten-year-old article about an altogether different person, which until now mostly had a redir, but the page has suddenly been 'repurposed'.
Why do you think Municipalities of Nepal should be redirect to List of cities in Nepal?
I think that you and I and Doomsdayer520 all agree that the article should be deleted, and that we only disagree as to what the procedural error was. re: No Major Awards - Hello Onel, Thanks for your time and look-through of my Jon Everist page additions. The ASCAP award referenced is very substantial in that industry as it is the other half of the two major American composers organizations, the other being BMI - both organizations tied directly to how composers receive income for their work.
Additionally, there are other colleagues of his, specifically game composers that have pages but no awards listed at all. Refer to Sarah Schachner and Darren Korb.

Thank you. Liz Read! Hi Onel5969, just reminding you that when you are disambiguating Queen's Theatre on various articles, you need to search the entire article for mentions; most of the articles mention and link the theatre more than once, and all of those links need disambiguating.

I believed the subject to be notable enough by virtue of her founding the national music college in Zimbabwe and teaching at a major music college in the UK for nearly twenty years. I also agree that although there's very little information there and it all came from her obituary (again, a half-page obit in a major national newspaper speaks to notability), however I thought the point of Wikipedia was that other editors would be able to flesh out the article further, but I don't see that happening in draftspace.
