I was the editor overseeing this as it was written, so I can clarify one thing: Margee is a volunteer staffer at TS, and her article was a TS initiative. Unfortunately, I hear that the TS owner dislikes free licenses, so the IIRC the "plagarized" text was originally supposed to be freelicensed, and I guess he never did it. As such, I am afraid the plagiarized text needs to be removed or at least tagged with one of the copyvio templates; maybe this will motivate the TS people to adopt a free license. I think the article has a reasonable chance of passing at FAC, and would encourage you to try nominating the article. So that you have the best possible chance for success, I strongly recommend getting a copy-edit pre-FAC. A good copy-editor can help you spot jargon (important in sports articles) and clean up any remaining glitches. The person who I would recommend asking for help is User:Sarastro1; he is probably our finest sports writer, but is not so familiar with the sports in question to miss confusing elements. Get him on your side and a nomination will be much easier. If he's too busy to copy-edit, you can always check WP:FAC and see if any copy-editors appear to be having a positive effect on a given article. As for the bit you are having trouble citing, I suggest simply removing it. If your article has any chinks in its armor, FAC's reviewers will find them. Hello! Now, some of you might have already received a similar message a little while ago regarding the Recruitment Centre, so if you have, there is no need to read the rest of this. This message is directed to users who have reviewed over 15 Good article nominations and are not part of
WikiProject Good articles (the first message I sent out went to only WikiProject members).
So for those who haven't heard about the Recruitment Centre yet, you may be wondering why there is a Good article icon with a bunch of stars around it (to the right). The answer? WikiProject Good articles will be launching a Recruitment Centre very soon! The centre will allow all users to be taught how to review Good article nominations by experts just like you! However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along. A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.-- Dom497 ( talk) This message was sent out by -- EdwardsBot ( talk) 14:45, 9 June 2013 (UTC) |

Hello again. You reviewed and passed my good article nomination for The Fifth Element. Accordingly, and as I note you said it is also one of your favourite films, I though i'd let you know that after considerable expansions (taking into account advise you left me on your GA review) I have now nominated the article for featured status. One person is currently supporting it. Just though i'd throw that our there, in case you feel inclined to weigh in on its nomination. No worries if you're too busy though. If there's something you'd like me to review in return, like a DYK or GA nomination (I have no experience with featured candidate reviews myself, this is my first nominated article for featured status) just let me know. Have a nice day. Freikorp ( talk) 05:53, 24 July 2014 (UTC)
I've noticed you haven't made any edits since my last message, so you probably never saw it. Just an update in case you log in in time to see the new nomination: the original FAC was archived as only 2 people were supporting it, and apparently I need a minimum of 3. I have now renominated the article for FAC, and anticipate a quicker and smoother process as all the original concerns from the first FAC have already been addressed. See Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/The Fifth Element/archive2. Freikorp ( talk) 01:19, 20 September 2014 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current
Arbitration Committee election. The

arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on

However, in order for the Recruitment Centre to open in the first place, we need some volunteers:
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me. I look forward to seeing this program bring new reviewers to the Good article community and all the positive things it will bring along. A message will be sent out to all recruiters regarding the date when the Recruitment Centre will open when it is determined. The message will also contain some further details to clarify things that may be a bit confusing.-- Dom497 ( talk) This message was sent out by -- EdwardsBot ( talk) 14:45, 9 June 2013 (UTC) |
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited 1996–97 Newcastle United F.C. season, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page The Telegraph ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

The
Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia
arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose

topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The
arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to
review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on
the voting page. For the Election committee,
