Hi I JethroBT, I'm sending you this message because you're one of about 300 users who have recently edited an article in the umbrella category of open educational resources (OER) (or open education). In evaluating several projects we've been working on (e.g. the WIKISOO course and WikiProject Open), my colleague Pete Forsyth and I have wondered who chooses to edit OER-related articles and why. Regardless of whether you've taken the WIKISOO course yourself - and/or never even heard the term OER before - we'd be extremely grateful for your participation in this brief, anonymous survey before 27 April. No personal data is being collected. If you have any ideas or questions, please get in touch. My talk page awaits. Thanks for your support! - Sara FB ( talk) 20:41, 23 April 2014 (UTC)

Hello. I wrote a new article because I am helping in a cause I believe in - solving hit and runs. The creator fo the Medina Alert wrote one and didn't follow rules so it got deleted. I am trying to make sure I do the right things. Can you help me? It is The Medina Alert program. I would appreciate any feedback and comments on my article to help it go through. It is a wonderful program and there are people who want to read a concise article about it instead of having to read different newspaper articles. Thank you. — Preceding unsigned comment added by MedinaAler1 ( talk • contribs) 14:12, 5 May 2014 (UTC)
Hello, The JobServer page I created several months ago was marked for deletion by you. I then made several edits to comply with the issues you listed and I left comments/notes in the Talk section of the page describing my changes, but received no followup feedback/discussion from you or anyone else. Then I found the page deleted just recently.
I believe I addressed your initial issues and would kindly ask for the page to be re-instated or let me know what issues remain.
Thanks, Sam Taha

Hey! Teri would like the Wikipedia interns to plan a Edit-a-Thon so we can help the public learn how to edit Wikipedia! At the event, we would be working on WWI and Dissent. I was thinking having it around the Great American Wiknic (so around July 6) that way we would have time to plan and publicize. A possible date would be Saturday, July 12. Let me know if that works for you! SamanthaMes ( talk) 13:44, 11 June 2014 (UTC)

Greetings Jethro, you have a very nice wikipedia page and profile... congrats!!!
I have a frustrating issue here... I have created the page Miss Multiverse, it was deleted once before about a year ago, i don´t understand why if it has all the right references, no use of promotion, just facts, there are even winners of miss universe that have participated in Miss Multiverse whom have profiles on wikipedia... and its still deleted as if this beauty pageant does not exist.
There are many smaller beauty pageants listed on wikipedia, we are just not able to comprehend why this is happening, it almost feels as if enthusiasts or supporters of other pageants are deleting this one, it takes time to learn how to use wikipedia and frustrating to see someone just come and delete it.
I will appreciate your help enormously, if you would kindly take a look and figure out a solution.
Best regards,

Hi Books & Bytes recipients: The Wikipedia Library has been expanding rapidly and we need some help! We currently have 10 signups for free account access open and several more in the works... In order to help with those signups, distribute access codes, and manage accounts we'll need 2-3 more Account Coordinators.
It takes about an hour to get up and running and then only takes a couple hours per week, flexible depending upon your schedule and routine. If you're interested in helping out, please drop a note in the next week at

Thanks in advance for your time.
I was on the Northridge, Los Angeles page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northridge,_Los_Angeles and I noticed that the photo they have at the bottom (under noteworthy residents) depicts the wrong person. I don't even know why the Northridge, Los Angeles page even needs a photo of a completely irrelevant MLB player just because he was from there--perhaps a photo of Jason Collins, the first openly gay NBA player, would be more relevant--but in any case, the photo on the page shows Daniel Nava of the Boston Red Sox, but is labeled Ryan Kalish, formerly of the Boston Red Sox. Daniel Nava, at least according to his page, is from a different place in CA.
I tried to fix this myself but I couldn't even figure out the photo specs and so I edited the caption of the photo to say there was an error in the hopes that someone would fix it, but it just got deleted.
Can you help me take care of this? 23.242.143.92 ( talk) 05:10, 30 July 2014 (UTC)

But Robinson's life was about to shift coursedoesn't read very well from an encyclopedic standpoint.
Watching that plane take off created Robinson's dream to flyin a novel, not in an encyclopedia. Other phrases that could use some work are
Robinson was determined as ever to get back into the air...,
Wanting to prove beyond a doubt that people of African descent can fly..., and
...having never forgotten the flight he witnessed John Moisant conduct in his hometown...I think these details can be incorporated, but this phrasing will definitely catch the attention of the reviewer.

Hi. I've been trying to clean up the backlog of merger proposals and ran into Heroes in Hell (book). Upon reviewing the talk pages, I found that all the books in the Heroes in Hell series were tagged for merger, and according to one of your posts you merged all of them in that same month, backed by a consensus from an Articles For Deletion discussion. However, Heroes in Hell (book) is still a standalone article, still tagged as proposed for merger, and when someone tried turning the article into a redirect on July 6, 2013, he was reverted, and the reverting edit summary claims there was a consensus to keep the article as standalone. Can you straighten this out for me?-- NukeofEarl ( talk) 18:24, 11 September 2014 (UTC)

I just wanted you to know that I have extensively revised Barton McLean's page. I have eliminated the laudable language, I have clarified passages that were too vague, I added background material that was written in the Grove Dictionary of Music and Musicians to flesh out the first paragraph where there was virtually no information, and I have eliminated one of the references which was incorrect. It reads much better, and I hope that the bar across the top can now be taken off.

Do you have any idea about possible date or location for the Chicago Wiknic? I put up on the on the general page that it was "under discussion" and linked to the meetup talk, but it would be great if you could maybe start a Wikipedia:Meetup/Chicago 9 with any preliminary details.
Hi, thanks for marking my edits on Taiko no Tatsujin needing "additional citations for verification", which I realized I should be doing better at!

If you're interested in helping out, please drop a note in the next week at
my talk page or shoot me an email at: jorlowitzgmail.com. Thanks and cheers, Jake

Hey there! You uploaded this, but I'm not entirely sure if you are part of Wikipedia:GLAM/Pritzker? Because I'd like to support Pritzker's collaboration with Wikipedia, but the images coming out are very, very low resolution, making it impossible to use them for, for example, featured pictures, which is one of the most neglected ways to promote a topic out there.
