From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

After a year or so of editing as an IP address, I've finally signed up for a WP account. I stuck as an IP address for a while because they're frequently treated unfairly and often get a bad rap for no good reason, so I figured I'd do my little bit to show that IP address editors can do just as much good as registered editors. Additionally, I think now that I'm a registered user I won't be so quick to condemn the IPs since I know what it's like to be one myself.

However, for a few reasons it was pretty much necessary for me to register at this point. One of the biggest reasons is that my IP address is shared, so I didn't want any trouble with the other person on this address being associated with edits that I had done, or vice versa.

Anyways, here I go! Off to do my bit making Wikipedia a better place.
