I haven't heard of any other participants yet, but I'm working on getting an "event" of some sort or other put together for this weekend. It is probably going to be this Sunday the 22nd, from 11-12 since that's the only time I'm free. You're welcome to take part at any time though. Thank you for uploading File:GrantBirthplace.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Radiant chains ( talk) 09:08, 9 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Forest Tent Caterpillar.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{ GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{ non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 13:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG ( talk) 13:21, 5 June 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:DixieTerminalEntrance.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Very interesting point. I concluded that the house was destroyed because I couldn't find an Italianate house along that part of Springfield Pike, and when I saw its Ohio Historical Society profile, I knew that the house was gone, since that house definitely isn't along the street. However, in my opinion, the building you can see from Bing looks just like the OHS picture, and the Google Street View of the house you found at Bing is conclusive: there's no way that it could have been destroyed. It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.
If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Hello, this is just to let you know that I have granted you the "autopatrolled" permission. This won't affect your editing, it just automatically marks any page you create as patrolled, benefiting new page patrollers. Please remember:
On 2 December 2010, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Bavarian Brewing Company, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that when Prohibition forced the Kentucky-based Bavarian Brewing Company to stop producing beer, it continued to produce soft drinks as The William Riedlin Beverage Company? You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

This photograph ( Image:MacroCRT.JPG) that you recently uploaded and applied as an illustration to the article Cathode ray tube has generated a minor edit war and a fair bit of discussion. You can see the discussion at Talk:Cathode ray tube#Image of CRT or LCD?. Basically, it has been asserted that the photograph is not of the colour patterns on a cathode ray tube but of a liquid crystal display and one of the contributors has outlined several reasons he believes this to be the case. Your editing history suggest that you are not technically minded, and as such there is no suggestion that the image was uploaded in anything other than good faith. As you took the photograph, perhaps you could visit the discussion and clear up the matter once and for all. If the photo really is of a CRT, then to close the matter, it might be helpful to all concerned if you could advise of the make and model of the monitor photographed. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page ( here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |

Per the discussion of your image at Commons, I've moved it to here (en.Wikipedia) with appropriate fair use tags. Check it if you have the chance to make sure everything is in order. It's located at File:King of Kings Statue.jpg. Cheers -- Тимофей ЛееСуда. 12:59, 27 March 2012 (UTC)
Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Mariemont, Ohio, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page 2010 census ( check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Greg, if you ever pop back in, could you try to get a photo to illustrate the Terrace Park, Ohio article? It's literally the only Hamilton County municipality with no decent photo. I was in Hamilton County on Monday and got several places (e.g. Deer Park and Golf Manor), but Terrace Park was too far out of the way for my schedule then. This image is a derivative work, containing an "image within an image". Examples of such images would include a photograph of a sculpture, a scan of a magazine cover, or a screenshot of a computer game or movie. In each of these cases, the rights of the creator of the original image must be considered, as well as those of the creator of the derivative work.
While the description page states who made this derivative work, it currently doesn't specify who created the original work, so the overall copyright status is unclear. If you did not create the original work depicted in this image, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright.
If you have uploaded other derivative works, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 08:10, 16 August 2016 (UTC). If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Hello, Greg5030. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
If you wish to participate in the 2016 election, please review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. MediaWiki message delivery ( talk) 22:08, 21 November 2016 (UTC)
