Hello Connormah, i noticed you are interested in creating svg images of signatures. So my question is whether you're be able to create an svg-signature out of this picture from the Aleksandr Kolchak.-- Kolchak1923 ( talk) 21:33, 3 May 2010 (UTC)

Hi. Did the Mackerras image fall through? Best regards, -- Ssilvers ( talk) 18:55, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello. I noticed the photo you added. I would prefer to keep the other image in the infobox, as the photo you added has a watermark and isn't particularly strong. If we can find a better photograph, I wouldn't be averse to subbing it in the infobox. But I don't think that one fits the bill. MarmadukePercy ( talk) 22:57, 2 August 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the notification, Connormah although I wasn't the editor who wrote the sentence in question or for that matter any of the lead in the article. I did request that the editor change the word "curmudgeonly" and he therefore wrote "stubborn" in its place. I take the more positive definition of the words used and see them as meaning "uncompromising" and "eccentric" which is not a bad thing in a creative profession where being unafraid to be unique and out of the ordinary is not a bad thing. Could you please add the fact that this signature was published prior to 1916 to its description page, per Ucucha's request here? When I go to this file, I only have a "Create" button instead of an "Edit" button. Don't know why that is. Acdixon ( talk • contribs • count) 20:02, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
Hey, just to let you know I've nominated an image you uploaded for FP status. J Milburn ( talk) 11:23, 10 August 2010 (UTC)
Hello! Just a small suggestion for you. When you replace an image, especially on a featured list (since alt. text is required), you may want to try editing the alt. text that accompanies the image so that it reflects the new image accurately. Also, the new image of Michael Bublé is great, but a quick crop along the top may improve the image by removing the "blank" space and centering Bublé more. I've looked at some of your other contributions--keep up the great work! -- Another Believer ( Talk) 23:44, 10 August 2010 (UTC)

Sure, you can copy the code I use from here and then create a page page like User:Connormah/Sig and put {{subst:User:Connormah/Sig}} in the signature field in "My Preferences" and just sign with ~~~. You only need three tildes, four and it adds a second timestamp. The timestamp in the code is the exact same one Wikipedia adds. Let me know if you need any help. - Neutralhomer • Talk • 18:25, 12 August 2010 (UTC)
I'll be honest, I don't think it would pass due to the other torsos hanging around- without them, it would be an easy support from me, with them, a regretful oppose. Feel free to give it a bash, though- I don't always make the right call. It's a damn striking picture, and it would have passed a few years ago, but the standards have gone right up. If his public appearances were incredibly rare and there was no chance of a replacement, you may be able to make an argument, but I don't think it'd pass now. Thanks for uploading File:Bungie Logo - Official.svg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. -- ImageTaggingBot ( talk) 17:05, 17 August 2010 (UTC)
Hi, you set up that infobox for Gilman at his piece. But I think it should be 'headlined' President of Johns Hopkins. Gilman's tenure at Hopkins. where he served as the first president, was far longer than his tenure at Cal, and his accomplishments at Hopkins – particularly in the area of graduate school – are still being written about today by experts in the field. In other words, it's for his tenure as president at Hopkins for which he is remembered today. Thanks. MarmadukePercy ( talk) 11:09, 18 August 2010 (UTC)

I've got to see where we stand on Shield nickel images, I have still not heard back from Spindel and fear that the license may have scared him off. It is possible the ANA money museum in Colorado Springs will play ball. Buying Shield nickels in decent enough condition to show the detail isn't on my agenda. They are not cheap. Liberty Head nickels are doable, but not Shield. I am hopeful Liberty Bell will clear the FAC page this weekend, if I don't have the coins ready it will have to be Charlotte next. I am also starting work on History of the New York Jets, which involves more cutting back than writing, it is three times as long as it needs to be. I reverted your addition of the new photo on the chinchilla article. While the photo you added was lovely, it does not show the chinchilla's tail, which is one of its defining characteristics. As that is the infobox and the first photo on the page of a chinchilla, any photo in that box should include the tail as well, even if the quality isn't superb. I would also go so far as to say that the chinchilla should probably also be a standard grey as it is the most common and most recognized coloration. I just wanted to give you a more detailed response than my little edit summary could provide. -- 13 2 22:52, 2 September 2010 (UTC)

Hi Connor. I also noted that in terms of traffic Mercury's page is 533 on Wikipedia. Given how busy this page is (Queen page also) and nonsense IP edits, i would propose that the Mercury article (and recently unlocked Queen) are locked, and open to contributions by registered, more genuine/reliable users. Hi there. As someone who on more than one occasion has reverted vandalism on the page, I was nonethelss wondering if you would be willing to reconsider indefinite semi protection of the five pillars.
As I see it, while largely symbolic, the five pillars are a reflection of the general philosophy of wikipedia, which is that a page should be accessible to everyone unless circumstances dictate that this is not an option, or if there is too big a risk of genuinely harmful material being posted about a living person. Taking into account the nature and frequency of vandalism and the number of people tracking that page, I don't feel that either of the above statements applies to 5P.
If you feel indefinite protection is appropriate then I'll respect that, and won't make a formal request for unprotection. But I think it's a point that's worth bearing in mind. Regards, -- W F C-- 20:30, 10 September 2010 (UTC)
I've spoken to Stacyjj, who you blocked for inappropriate link additions, after she put up an unblock request.

Hi Connor. Noted that you have just protected Bob Marley article due to excessive vandalism, similar to the plethora of reverts on Freddie Mercury article (14 in 7 days of which 12 were removals of IP user edits). Hi Connormah, regarding your unblocking of User talk:85.211.114.101.
She seems now to understand that continuing to add the links would be inappropriate, and has agreed to stop doing so.
