News and updates for administrators from the past month (January 2024).
Hi @ Tyrol5, I know I should be putting this on your Wikinews talk page, and happy to move the discussion there, but I wanted the greatest chance of reaching you first as you're more active here. I submitted this article on Saturday and have been trying to line up a review for it since last Wednesday the 14th, but have had no luck contacting anyone who is active enough to review it. It seems like there is a severe inactivity / lack of reviewers problem on Wikinews which is exacerbated by the fact that time is of the essence for articles there.
Really, I would just like to get my first article reviewed, and ideally published, at least before it goes stale and gets deleted. Would you please be able to review it, or if not, can you please approve Asheiou's RfP so that they might be able to review it?
Thank you, -- Habst ( talk) 14:46, 22 February 2024 (UTC)
Thanks for uploading File:European Respiratory Society (logo).jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- B-bot ( talk) 21:28, 24 February 2024 (UTC)
